Heald versus Dragonis (Ref: CEB)

Okay, I'm taking any challengers. I'll be using JWB, my male Squirtle.

DQ Time: 1 Week
Pokemon: 2 Pokemon each
Banned Moves: Any non-damaging healing moves

Arena: Mad Jack's Boss Arena

If you're unfamiliar with Donkey Kong 64, watch the video. It's basically a 4 x 4 grid made of up 16 square shaped platforms high above a seemingly bottomless pit. There are no other effects and most Pokemon ought to easily jump from one platform to the other (with the exception of fish I guess, use your own common sense). The platforms are quite large, you could fit about 16 Nidokings on each one I guess. If a Pokemon does fall from the platform, he'll be spat back up by Mad Jack on a fireball that will deal 10 damage to his HP. There is a 25% chance that the fireball will hit the opposing Pokemon who will also take 10 damage to his HP.

Ok Momma, start off with Dragon Dance. Then hit JWB with a Dragon Claw. After that try to throw him into the abyss with Twister. Counter any Ice Beams with Flamethrower.

JWB, entomb her with Rock Tomb, that should negate her speed burst. Then when she comes in for that Dragon Claw, use Toxic to poison her. Finally, use Double Team in order to evade that twister.

This match is between Dragonis and Heald on a quite interesting match. The field is a huge 4x4 grid with massive square platforms. Both trainers throw out pokeballs with Heald’s revealing a small blue turtle while Dragonis’s releases a small lizard with a bad haircut. Big Momma starts of the match by dancing around on a platform boosting her fighting status while JWB throws a pile of rocks on top of Big Momma’s head.

Using her new powers Big Momma rushes head on jumping from platform to platform before digging her claws into JWB ripping shreds from him. He just smirks as opens his mouth and throws up a small goop of goo which splashes over Big Momma and soaks into his skin.

As Big Momma dances back to her spot across the field she whips up a violent twister of draconic energy and uses her powers to make it move across the field. The tornado gets closer and closer to JWB, but he just creates 4 new clones of himself and then mourns as one of those clones is destroyed in the storm.

JWB recedes back into his shell and begins to secrete a weird silvery substance from his body and coats his shell before hardening into a thick skin. Big Momma responds by opening her mouth and letting out a set of oranges rings which fly across the field and smacks into one of JWB’s clones.

JWB begins this round by letting his image flicker wildly as 4 new clones of himself sprout from his body. Big Momma uses her hidden power once again sending small green balls which strike through 2 of the clones and slightly damaging JWB.

With two of his clones still kicking JWB fires a small beam of ice which freezes up Big Momma. With her legs a little stiff from the ice she rushes head on into JWB and his army but instead of striking the real one she ends up destroying a clone.

Hailee begins this round by looking directly at JWB and begins to taunt the poor little turtle in a furious manner. JWB responds by calling a large number of rocks onto Hailee trapping her.

As the blue Squirtle hits the ground he is recalled by Heald and another pokemon is ordered onto the field, this time it is a small brown dog like creature. Chase the Eevee begins by calming down his body and sprouts 4 clones of himself from his body. Hailee responds by firing a horde of stars which cut through the clones like butter destroying them.

Chase quite annoyed with her clones being dispatched so easily rushes at Hailee with her tail glowing a silver colour before trying to ram it into Hailee. This however doesn’t agree with Hailee and she vanishes from sight dodging the attack and reappears behind Chase hitting her.

Start off by setting up a small Substitute. Then Relax. After that, if your sub is still up, nail Chase with a Focus Punch. If your sub's been broke, then hit her with Brick Break.

Try and knock the substitute into the abyss with Iron Tail. If it is still intact, try and knock it into the abyss again with Take Down, or knock your opponent into the abyss with Take Down. Finish off with Iron Tail.

Hailee starts off by making a tiny effigy of herself in front of her by pouring her life force into it before it becomes solid. Chase doesn’t like this much and runs over to this substitute and smashes it with her tail but much to her dismay its still standing.
