I ban Toxic, that should bring out the strategical element more of our same-pokemon-duel. You can ban anything you'd like and choose the arena.

Arena
A planetarium, its pretty dark and all the stars that are being displayed are rotating slowly through the presentation. We are in the middle with the projector, on opposite sides. For that reason Explosion and Earthquake are also banned, I like planetariums and I dont want to see this one explode/crumble to the ground kthnx ;D

Round One

Etain (f), Solrock
Asi took a deep breath and gazed around the planetarium before refocusing on her pokemon and the battle which had yet to begin. "Ok, Etain, even though you have no gender Im going to call you a girl because having no gender is just too weird for me." Etain didnt seem to mind as she floated beside Asi silently. Nodding to herself now that that matter was settled, Asi tapped absently at her pokedex. "Ok, to start off, use your Cosmic Power. Then, we ll switch gears and attack his Solrock with a Grass Knot, finally hit him with an Earth Power. That should do for the first round!"

Round 1

It's another battle for me. And let's just say, I don't like dark places. This planetarium had no lights on. There were still two planets moving around but I paid them no heed. I couldn't see much and Sohnano was clinging onto my shoulder. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my other shoulder. I jumped right out of my skin and turned around. MeLo was grinning and I frowned. Asi must be nearby. I turned around just in case but there was nothing behind me. I then felt another hand on my shoulder and jumped again. I turned back and saw Asi and MeLo standing mext to each other. How'd she do that? Anyway, we went to our locations. I waited for them to send out their Pokemon but the two planets began to move towards the arena making me jump again. I frowned and switched on the lights. Both trainers had chosen Solrock. Oh yay...
I stepped forward.
"This will be a 1 VS 1 Solrock Pokemon battle between MeLo and Asi. There are three banned moves: Toxic, Earthquake and Explosion. We have until daylight to get this done so let's hurry."
I brought up my hands and then brought them back down, slicing the air.
"BEGIN!!!"

Arena

We begin this round with Etain (who is somehow female...*shrugs*) tapping into the power of space which is lucky for her since she's in a planetarium. She feels stronger...pity she was burned.

Tousen grinned (if that's even possible) and split into five Pokemon. Etain was surrounded by five Solrock. Etain looked around and selected one. She commanded the grass beneath the ground to attack the Solrock. The grass rose up (and made a hole in the floor) and tried to trip it up. Pity you can't trip up holograms.

Etain frowned. So, she fired up a blast of ground at a random Solrock...it went straight through again. Suddenly, she was enveloped in a fire vortex. She looked around and began to heat up. Wuoh...her burn increased.

Round Two

Etain (f), Solrock
Asi narrowed her eyes at the ref slightly before pointing at him. "How dare you ruin my arena!!!" Growling slightly she rummaged into her pack and took out a small Lantern decorated with Volbeats and Illumises and handed it to Rossy, clicking a button on a small remote she had to turn out the overhead lights of the planetarium again when the lantern had been lit. Now there was a very small bubble of light where the ref was standing, and besides that and the tiny lights of the simulated stars the room was dark once again. "Now then where were we?" Taking out her pokedex she studied it carefully, all the while eyeing her opponent. "Well Double Team worked well for him so lets go with that. Then move around a lot in the darkness so he cant possibly know which one is you and hit him with a Facade, then Grass Knot him." Etain said nothing, only stared in her mysterious way as she started to perform her first move.

We begin with the darkness setting in. The light Asi gave the ref wasn't very good and only a small bit of the arena was visible. This wasn't so much of a problem for what happens next. Etain didn't even have to move into the darkness as it came for her as well as Tousen. But Asi forgot one small detail is that Solrock supposedly come from the sun so they give of their own, albeit faint, light. Tousen smiled as it saw the faint glow of Etain and prepared itself. Then suddenly, one faint light became three...then five! Tousen looked around and saw it was surrounded. Grimacing, it aimed at one and fired a blast of earth that blew a hole in the carpet. Asi's mouth dropped open and looked furious. MeLo hastily apologised. Tousen frowned, at least he still had a bit of defense.

They might not notice the hole...

Etain moved along with her clones and struck Tousen with a spinning tackle. ONOEZ!!! It's a clone. She hastily gets up and moves back into the darkness. Tousen smiled and his head began to glow grey. He moved towards Etain and...hit another clone. Damn she's fast!

Etain breathes a sigh of relief and chooses a Solrock. Fifty - Fifty chance here. She selected the one on the left, the grass burst through the carpet making another hole and tripped up Tousen who was preparing his own Grass Knot, Etain grinned as the final clone of Tousen vanished. He fell on the ground and growled. He fired grass through the ground, created a small hole and tripped up a clone. Godamnit! Etain fell into a burning ring of fire and went down, down, down as the fl- excuse me. The flames vanished and Etain breathed a sigh of relief.

Why did my Grass Knot only do about 7 damage and hers 14? Also, even if it did 7%, the burn counts in another three, which makes 10% and 82 instead of 85. You should redo your damage calculation.

Etain frowned, which one, which one? She commanded the grass and tripped one of them up. Damnit! Wrong one again! Tousen began to glow. He fires a beam at one of the Etain and...hits the wrong one! Argh! He felt a tad stronger though.

Now Tousen collects a ball of dark energy. Suddenly, grass popped up and tripped him up. His clones vanished and Etain (somehow) grinned. Tousen lost his Shadow Ball in the process. But he noticed that the left light grimaced slightly as the burn hurt Etain.

We begin with some action. Etain summons small ghostly blue flames that encircle her. Tousen seems uninterested and begans to walk the walk...and talk the talk. His stylish way was aggrevating for Etain and she had a hardened resolve to crush him. But she didn't know the reason of what he was doing and why he was doing it. Spots began to form in her eyes and the blue flames around her were irritating. She thrashed out to remove them and succeeded...at the extent of her fatigue. She realised she had no more energy to spare and collapsed to the ground, defeated.

The ref teleports dowd states the obvious.
"Etain is unable to battle. The winner of this round is Tousen Kaname and that means the winner of this match is MeLo! Congratulations! Better luck next time Asi."
