Hm, I don't want another standard Indigo arena, so how about this: look at the "Outside the Battle Arena" and "The Castle Oubliette" arenas on this page and pick one; if you pick the Battle Arena we can do a 4v4, and if you like the oubliette then 2v2. And the rules there can be modified further, if you like, such as maybe increasing the round limit in the Battle Arena to 4 per Pokémon or something.

And I'd like to send first, if you don't mind, but I'll wait and see which arena you prefer before I do that.

Outside the Battle arena, Trainers gather to sort out their teams and eventually take their assorted combination inside to try their best inside. However, today we have two Trainers just...practicing it would seem! An Altaria and Cubone are released. Let's get it on!

The flying cloudragon puffs around a bit, creating a veil of starts that encircle her. She is then orbited by stones, which crash into her after a few moments of what seemed to be confusion.

Well, not totally concerned with the fight right now, Arya calls upon the sun to truy and bless her with warmth. It works, and as the sun's rays come down in full effect, so do more stones. Exo snickers at how simple this may seem, and he feels really good about himself.

A bit bothered by this now, Arya screeches. The vibrations begin to shift the Battle Arena's land, and soon, Exo is skyward from the lurching of the ground. But the little guy changes his path in mid flight, and wraps his bone around Arya's head tassels. Flipping over her, she is unexpectantly pulled down and slammed into the ground face first. Craaaazy counter.

===Round 2/12===

The fight continues with a disoriented Altaria taking flight once more. She skies up and commands the heat to come raining down. It engulfs the grounder and Exo winces at the power-thanks sun -.-.

A Blizzard goes flying up directly after Arya. The blast hits the underside of the flier, causing her to dip noticeably in flight.

That ice did not feel good. At all. So in essence to ensure survivability, Arya splits herself into 5 images. Exo hisses at the development-and tries for another rocky onslaught. But the mystic stones fly right through one of the group, and that bothers the lil guy.

With odds in her favor, Arya and co. fkly all around the small fighter and one of them spits in Exo's face. The skullmask blocks some, but it gets in. Exo winces as his eye burns and uses his free hand to fire off a Ice Beam. It scores nothng as another clone evaporates.

This round starts with the Arya flock all singing a song like a bunch of sirens. The smart Exo however, Protects his ears from the hypnotic effects of such a song.

Mad that their audience did not receive their song to well, Arya and co. decide to shake the little guy up. The ground begins to rumble and tumble, throwing Cubone round. But a Blizzard is able to sweep across the area, Stopping Arya cold-literally. Her clones fall and she gets a nasty shiver, not to mention a strong hit.

Not keen on the use of Ice right now, Arya tries for a second Earth rumble. Exo uses the attack to merely propel himself skyward and ram his body into the flier, bringing her down to the ground again.

Both Pokemon are now removed from the scoreboard, and the next two competitors are chosen. At full health, both Nightshade and Mace seem eager to do battle. Mace floats up and notices the speedy Psychic for a second. His world suddenly went HAYWIRE. Even thought it felt like his body was going to be instantly emulsified he wailed on and on and on-even after the Psychic blast was over. Tormenting sounds, really.

Shade looked at the floating gas bubble, and shrugged, splitting into 5 clones. Mace freaked at that, and quickly tired spitting a Toxic spray at one of them. It vanished. Not good.

Not knowing whom yer fighting is eerie. Mace was enduring this feeling as Nightshade and its clones all raised their hands up and released a multitude of electricwaves through the air, to slam and rattle Mace all about. Only one really hit, but the image of electricity everywhere was dismantling. Mace however, got his act together and fired a Pulse of energy right behind him. The clone faded away. Nightshade shifted his feet a few..that was a lil too close

The sun begins to lose some power as the clones of Nightshade move about. Both Pokemon decides its time to strike and yet, Mace feels that his body is deflating. He sinks lower to the ground as a Shockwave of controlled size strikes him and knocks him flat.

Mace barely has time to even rise up as he is pinned to the ground once more and left to write in agony as his body feels like its going to be shred papart. But once it ends, oh the evil shows in his eyes. A twinkling appears between him and one of the clones and a latch is made! He actually feels a mind! He pulls and the pain causes Nightshade to fall to his feet in agony. Health is traded and sucked and combined and redistributed, along with that harmful paralysis!

Now, both are equal in sickness and in health!

This round starts off with a clearly energized Nightshade using his prowess to hinder Mace cold. A strong fast blast of Psychic energy railed the Koffing, forcing it to fly back aways. Regaining its bearings, Mace fired a Single Sludge Bomb that rammed into Nightshade, leaving him with a sour sour taste..

Ready to hinder the incoming Koffing, Nightshade raised an arm, then froze in place. He couldn't believe the paralysis hit! He struggeld to move, but n0, Mace got in there and rammed the beanheads chest, possiby hurting a rib or two.

The passing of paralysis, Nightshade was quick to blast Koffing away once more, this time vertically. She flew skyward, still fixing her do. It wasn't til about 3 minutes later that she came down, with another Sludge Bomb to slam on him.

Halfway through this match, and we now see a third release from each participant. PS reveals a relatively unused Pokemon to ASB, a Sentret, while a Gengar appears from TML's side.

Ares raises his hands to his face, and seems to concentrate for a quick moment. Lafayette gains a halo to his body and feels this strong power well up! He lets his fly miliseconds before Ares releases his, and the two Psychic attacks collide in midair. Lafayetts wins out though, washing back over Ares with arguably devastating results.

Not happy about being struck by a faster version of his attack, Ares switches gears. A small wisp of fire was lobbed Laf's way, only to sizzle agaisnt a shield raised at the last second.

Slightly irked nothing was hitting this little rodent, Ares tosses his hands forward. A breeze flows up from the energy releases and it gains a Icy chill as Lafayette runs through it. But Laf powers through and Slashes the chubby ghost backwards, leaving a heavy gash it would seem.

But no, Ares' belly closes. Silly ghost.

Ares seems please that his opponent is giving him a run for his money. So, he quickly splits into 4 Gengars, all snickering evilly. Lafayette groans, and then facepalms. It creates a shockwave of energy that sweeps through the ghost field, and forces Ares to forget that exact manuvear.

Looking at its choices, Lafayette goes for the farthest one in the back. A ghostly sphere as conjured up and launched, but crud-it flew through the ghost, forcing it to evaporate. Ares took this time to now wave its little fingers over Lafayettes area, and force hypnotic suggestions of sleep into his head. He was hardly able to resist.

With Laf asleep, Ares decides to see what makes Sentret's happy. Floating over, he stabs an ethereal finger into that invisible dream bubble Nd takes a good sliver of happy dreams away. It gives him some sort of energy, while still keeping Laf Asleep. Laf however, springs up and does a backflip, spraying water all over an Ares clone!

Laf then woke up! Lucky. But Ares was not kep about ths and tried to blast a Psychic his way. Laf was struck by the blast, but his action did fly off first. It just hit the last remaning clone, that's all.

Not having that happen again, Laf successfully strikes Ares back with a much more powerful blast of Psychic force. Ares retaliates with the same attack again, unsure how that just went down!
