The T and A Team (Myself and Asi) Shall Send out first, and the other team can then attack first.

Arena: The Jazz House.
A Jazz club with a band playing various songs of Jazz through the ages. Try not to hit them though, they get paid by the hour.

Alright Kappaduck, we got a fellow Water type and a Fire type to deal with, so let's do it!

Close your eyes and use Double Team first, then fire off a Confuse Ray on Piplup, finally, in the event that Ise misses with Rock Slide, hit Godzilla hard with a Water Pulse in sphere form, if she still manages to hit the Charizard, then use Psychic to put a squeeze on Piplup.

ROUND ONE!
The four-man person opera amongst the jazz house begins with Emell Gee and Kot both releasing their pokemon: a sassy golduck and a reserved (shiny) medicham. The golduck spits out a small ball of water to show off, while the medicham, Ise, merely flaunts her talents by levitating an unused trumpet a few feet in the air before dropping it harshly on the ground below. A random audience member complains -- something about how musical instruments are an (expensive) artform and shouldn't be destroyed.

Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the room sits Mew, summoning his black charizard, Godzilla, and Lynne, who has chosen the smallest pokemon out of this four-person duel. The same audience member complains once more -- something about cute little penguins not belonging in a jazz house or something. I wasn't listening...

The battle begins with the blue apeish pokemon teleporting to her dragon foe, reeling back her fist, then charging it forward lightly [ -4HP Godzilla / -5PP Ise Nanao ]. Godzilla flinches. Meanwhile, Kappaduck snaps his webbed fingers, creating five clones [ -10PP Kappaduck / +50% EVA Kappaduck ]. Last to strike is Sushi, who launches herself directly at the correct duck, making his illusions meaningless as they fade away [ -2HP Kappaduck / -50% EVA Kappaduck / -5PP Sushi ].

Godzilla remains stoic as Ise telepathically (finds and) lifts several small boulders and hurls them at him. Still remaining poised, Godzilla takes the hits gracefully [ -14HP Godzilla / -6PP Ise Nanao ]. The attack stings more than he'd think, however, and he is unable to counterattack [ Flinch ]. Kappaduck stares carefully at his water-pokemon adversary, attempting to confuse her with his unavoidable prowess. But his attack fails [ -4PP Kappaduck ] as Sushi's protective veil fades away [ -5PP Sushi ].

Godzilla shakes his head, mentally preparing himself for the next volley of rocks that come his way [ -14HP Godzilla / -6PP Ise Nanao ]. Able to brace himself this time, he lifts up the collection of rocks that hit him and hurls them over to the duck pokemon, damaging him greatly [ -21HP Kappaduck / -8PP Godzilla ]. Meanwhile, having been defeated with his previous attack, Kappaduck closes his eyes and focuses on the tiny penguin pokemon. Her head begins to ache and quake, and she whines loudly -- the audience member complains again, but no one's listening -- [ -9HP Sushi / -7PP Kappaduck ]. Free of the mental attack, Sushi finally spits out the poisons she had been accumulating for the entire round, showering Kappaduck in acidic awfulness [ TOX Kappaduck / -5PP Sushi ]. The pain strikes him almost instantly [ -1HP Kappaduck ].

Just a quick question here... Why weren't the Rock Slides countered and redirected at Kappaduck like ordered?

The first rock slide caused Godzilla to flinch, actually, so he couldn't retalliate. The second rock slide, however, *was* in fact countered.

Sorry for my absence, I'll fully explain it in the Absence Tower, but, I'd like some additional time to post if I may, please.

The motherboard on the old computer stopped working all of a sudden, so in a nutshell, we had to get a new computer.

Edit: Okay Kappaduck, that last round was a little rough, so let's make Godzilla and Sushi pay.

Kappaduck, let's get the jump on both opponents by using Yawn on them both while they least expect it, then close your eyes and wait for the right time to Counter the Thunderpunch, finally, if Sushi and Godzilla have fallen asleep by now, take the time to Refresh yourself and get that poison out of your system, otherwise, use Psychic to swap places with Sushi so that the Solarbeam hits him instead, or if that's not possible, use Psychic to throw Sushi into the Solarbeam so that he takes the full brunt of it.

ROUND TWO!
Godzilla takes point -- his wings carrying him a few feet in the air, zipping around the arena quickly for a boost [ -5PP Godzilla / +10% SPD Godzilla / +10% SPD Sushi ]. Sushi uses her newfound quickness to stare blankly at her foes [ -5PP Sushi]. Ise doesn't take the bait, however. Her eyes closed and her mind at ease, she feels her mental prowess increasing heavily [ -5PP Ise Nanao / +20% SpA ]. Kappaduck decides to play the same card, yawning to himself in hopes to lure his two opponents to dreamland [ -3PP Kappaduck / +25% TIR Godzilla / +25% TIR Sushi / -1HP Kappaduck ].

Godzilla dives toward Kappaduck with his right arm engulfed in cackling, electric energy. His opponent's eyes are closed, so he manages to sneak up on him rather easily. BASH!, the thundrous punch knocks Kappaduck to the ground [ -10HP Kappaduck / -6PP Godzilla ]. But Kappaduck easily pulls himself back together and latches onto Godzilla's tiny arm, whipping him to the ground just as easily [ -13HP Godzilla / -8PP Kappaduck / -1HP Kappaduck ]. His eyes are still closed, however, and he manages to avoid Sushi's hypnosis [ -5PP Sushi ]. Ise continues to flick several rocks at the dragon pokemon for heavy damage [ -14HP Godzilla / -6PP Ise Nanao ].

Sushi begins the final stretch, looking around the jazz hall for the light switch. Upon finding it, she flicks it on, and all the lightbulbs just light up instantly. Luckily for all the musicians, they were wearing super cool sunglasses and didn't feel the effects of the bright light. Meanwhile, black charizard Godzilla immediately shoots off a highly powerful blast of energy utilizing the light power. Not given enough time to react, Kappaduck is fried by the attack [ -18HP Kappaduck / -10PP Godzilla ] before he can use his telekinesis to swap positions with Sushi. Ise flicks a few more of the rocks back at the lizardmon [ -14HP Godzilla / -6PP Ise Nanao ], while Kappaduck mentally attacks Sushi frantically [ -9HP Sushi / -7PP Kappaduck / -1HP Kappaduck ].

At the end of the second round, Godzilla has taken a lot of abuse, and so has Kappaduck to a lesser extent. Both members of Team Mew are looking pretty tired. But soon it looks like this is going to be a battle between Sushi and Ise Nanao.

Kappaduck, it's time to get serious, as long as Sushi is awake, I want you to use Facade x3 on the Piplup. Make him pay!

If either of your opponents fall asleep and try to use Sleep Talk, use Amnesia to make them forget Sleep Talk immediately (start with Sushi in this case if they both fall asleep on the first action, otherwise go for just Sushi if they fall asleep not so early in this round, like on the second or third action), hopefully before they can get any move in as a result.

Godzilla, pick Sushi up and use Seismic Toss to throw him at Kappaduck, Sushi's Headbutt should finish out the rest of the damage. Then use Double Team. Since Medicham will make you do Encore... and do Seismic Toss again... Target Kappaduck with the Seismic Toss! Then one More Seismic Toss on Kappaduck to round it out! Bring the Water Fowl DOWN!

If you do fall asleep then Sleep Talk if you can. If you can't then Snore.

Without remorse for their actions, Godzilla and Sushi nod to one another -- signalling that they're ready for their combination technique. The black charizard picks up the tiny piplup, and takes flight. In an instant, Godzilla hurls his teeny teammate toward the duckmon [ -6PP Godzilla ]. Sushi shoots forward like an arrow, bashing the golduck with his blunt head [ -15HP Kappaduck / -5PP Sushi ]. Kappaduck stumbles backward, unable to react [ Flinch / -2HP Kappaduck ]. For the nth time this battle, Emel's medicham pelts the black charizard with several rocks [ -14HP Godzilla / -6PP Ise Nanao ].

Godzilla, feeling more and more tired as the round goes on, snaps his fingers and surrounds himself with three clones identical to him [ -6PP Godzilla / +75% Evasion Godzilla ]. Ise applauds the black charizard, giving Godzilla a much-desired standing ovation. It would've been more welcome if Ise wasn't already standing in the first place, but nonetheless, Godzilla is moved by the gesture [ -3PP Ise Nanao / Godzilla Encored ]. Sushi then spits his toxins at the pyschic chimp, damaging him for the first time this battle [ TOX Ise Nanao / -5PP Sushi / -1HP Ise Nanao ]. Finally, Kappaduck pulls himself together and avenges his ally, striking the penguin pokemon with great vigor [ -11HP Sushi / -5PP Kappaduck / -2HP Kappaduck ].

Godzilla can't fight it anymore, and drifts away to slumberland. His several clones dissipate as he is unable to concentrate on them any longer [ -75% Evasion Godzilla / SLP Godzilla ]. While he's down, he's not out. The snoozing beastie slowly makes his way toward the one who caused him this slumber -- Kappaduck -- reeling back, he throws his tiny fist forward. Kappaduck dives down, nearly avoiding the hit [ -5HP Kappaduck / +25% CON Kappaduck ], but his mind has been compromised by Godzilla's dynamic punch. Meanwhile, Ise Nanao fires off an orb of nature-based energy. The ball crashes into the tiny penguinmon, dealing hefty damage [ -14HP Sushi / -7PP Ise Nanao / -1HP Ise Nanao ]. Sushi pulls himself back together, firing off a beam of ice at the duckmon. Kappaduck falls back as the blade of ice collides with his frame [ -6HP Kappaduck / -7PP Sushi ]. Still confused, Kappaduck glares at Sushi (and not Godzilla), making him forget what attack he just used [ -5PP Kappaduck / Amnesia Sushi / -2HP Kappaduck ].

Suddenly, Sushi finds it very difficult to stay awake [ +25% TIR Sushi ].
