NBA 2009

Well the baseball season is now over (and as a result of the Yankees winning I own people money ~_~()). We've already got the NFL topic but there's one other sport we haven't started to focus on yet......

BASKETBALL!

For those that didn't know the NBA season got underway about a week ago. Since we always get the NFL and MLB topics up without fail I figured it was about time to get this one up. If you've posted in any of the yearly sports topics then you know the deal: talk about the recent news, games, standings, playfully painfully bash your friends for liking the Clippers, ect. All in all the main goal as with all the sports related topics is have fun with it and don't go off the deep end or get stupid.

Now as for myself I've got to be honest. Haven't really followed a basketball season in years. Back when I did occasionally watch games in the 90's it would mainly be around playoff time when the Bulls were no doubt destroying everyone. About all I can tell you about the game now is that some crazy guy/fan owns Dallas, Lebron is NOT the real #23 and the Clippers still suck. That being said if I had to pick a team with no knowledge of who's who anymore then I'd have to go with birthplace loyalty and say the Knicks as 2009/10 NBA Champs.

Now will someone with a little more knowledge about the sport today help me out by letting me know if that's a decent pick or if I'm off my rocker for saying they'll win?

Yeah I use to watch a college ball in the mid-90's whenever the Kentucky Wildcats were in March Madness. It's pretty much an unwritten rule that if you live here then you've got to bleed blue

In any case this topic's been quiet.....I'm guessing that's the sound of no one giving a damn about the NBA?
