Re: Gym Challenge: Mew Master vs DarkestLight (Ref: Greyfox)
Well then. After much thinking-I'll try this Gym. Side note: Yes this is from YST. I fuggin' LOVE YST. Suck on it!
Rules first off.
1) No DC's.
2) No banned moves.
3) Healing moves used 1 per Pokemon.
4) 3 on 3, like always.
Arena: Temple of the Yoroi.
You finished climbing the mountain of stairs to reach this ancient training ground. A solitary pagoda-style roofed home awaits you at the top. Entering this space, you only see darkness, until the torches flare up on their own in a square, outlining the edges of the arena.
Along the walls however, is the "ace in the hole" so to speak. There are 9 armors in total, standing around the arena, as if to judge the match for themselves. At any time, they may come to life and join in the battle. They will stay in the battle no longer than 2 rounds, and will inflict comparable damage to either enemy using only Normal, Fighting and well Steel attacks (since I mean, its armor...). Or they may aid in some sort of healing endeavor (cure blindness, remove poison, stuff like that) depending on how the armor wants to act..
However, if you are clever enough to harness the power of the Armor-you will gain that Armor for the rest of the 2 round Period. All attacks by the opponent will still hit the wearer for normal damage (You don't gain a resistance to grass if yer wearing the Fire armor, bascially.) with the exception of Normal attacks (that will be halved.). Harnessing the armor means to think like the armor at the exact same time.
You will be able to use the Armor's signature elemental attack at any time until the Armor departs. Once that attack is used-the armor will lose most of its power and return to the edge of the arena. You will also need an action to recharge (Its a *ridiculously overpowered* combo move basically) and an orb will light up in its corresponding color....
....the secret of the orbs however, remains a mystery...
The armors and attacks are:
Wildfire (Fire)~Flare Up Now (Flare Blitz+Blast Burn)
Torrent (Water)~Super Wave Smasher (Crabhammer+Hydro Cannon)
HardRock (Rock)~Iron Rock Crusher (Rock Slide+Rock Wrecker)
Hailo (Electric)~Thunderbolt Cut (Charge+Thunder+Volt Tackle)
Strata (Flying)~Arrow Shock Wave (Aeroblast+Hyper Beam)
Shadow (Dark)~Black Lightning Slash (Faint Attack+Dark Pulse)
Illusion (Psychic)~Web of Deception (Trick Room+Psychic)
Wrath (Steel)~Quake With Fear (Gyro Ball+Magnet Bomb)
Delusion (Poison)~Snake Fang Strike (Cross Poison+Toxic*)
There. That's the Gym, Beta version. Yay for Mew testing this Gym out wit me :O.
Oh and ummm I changed the badge so Blade can stop having a conniption. I'm calling it the Kikoutei badge. Shape to come later. But its said to help achieve balance of the warrior's heart with the world.
Any questions before we begin? You release, I release, you attack.
This got erased earlier when revising this post. For Delusion's super attack. if it hits for full damage, you will start at Txc Lvl 4, however you count Toxic, Grey. Otherwise, It'll start at Lvl 2.
Oh and it might help if you knew what the Armors looked like.
Here are the
first 5...Torrent, Strata, Hailo, Wildfire and Hard Rock
And here are the other 4, Delusion, Wrath, Illusion and Shadow Yeah the Armors have no wearers for this Gym,, I couldn't find the photo with the non worn armor though

High upon the mountain's precipice, DarkestLight, head moderator of the league, and newest gym leader, pulls a black-and-white-colored poke ball from his belt, smirking a confident smirk as he does so. Several lifeless bodies of armor stand around him and his challenger -- the eager Mew Master, Den. Both trainers toss out their poke balls, releasing two very opposite pokemon.
Emerging from DL's ball is Rocksnot, a nervous rock golem. He begins to cower in fear as he catches the eyes of his mantis adversary, Blade. While Rocksnot trembles, Blade starts up his routine -- but not for very long. Feigning confidence, Rocksnot catches the mantis and his trainer off guard by taunting him menacingly [ -3PP Rocksnot / Blade taunted ]. Annoyed, Blade haults his safeguard and lunges toward the rock pokemon with his sword-arms outstretched, slashing him several times for weak damage [ -3HP Rocksnot / -5PP Blade ].
Rocksnot smirks as Blade continues to swipe away [ -3HP Rocksnot / -5PP Blade ]. While the bug pokemon is distracted, Rocksnot gives him a swift uppercut to the face, knocking him to his feet rather instantly [ -20HP Blade / -8PP Rocksnot ].
Feeling very woozy, Blade pulls himself back together and swifly charges back to his foe. Feeling very angry, he bashes Rocksnot with the blunt end of his blades [ -12HP Rocksnot / -7PP Blade ]. But not without a counterattack, Rocksnot unleashes his final attack -- a firery fist straight to Blade's torso [ -12HP Blade / -7PP Rocksnot ].
The armor bodies that surround the battlers remain poised.

Despite being very angry, Blade follows orders and maintains a safe distance from his foe, firing off a blast of energy that hits the rock pokemon and knocks him to the ground [ -7HP Rocksnot / -4PP Blade ]. Sheepishly, Rocksnot pulls himself back together and shoots off a weak collection of static energy that, upon striking Blade, causes his muscles to tense up [ -6PP Rocksnot / +25% Paralysis Blade ].
Now even more annoyed, Blade can only watch in horror as the rock pokemon plots his next move. Rocksnot does so, firing off a beam of concentrated crystals and rock-based energy. Doing the best he can, Blade flutters upward, dodging the brunt of the attack [ -7HP Blade / -5PP Rocksnot ], and crashing into his foe [ -1HP Rocksnot / -5PP Blade ].
Rocksnot ends the round for himself by curling up in the fetal position, somehow giving himself much more defense [ -5PP Rocksnot / +20% Defense Rocksnot ]. Blade fumes, cracking into the rock pokemon with his blades for weak damage [ -10HP Rocksnot / -5PP Blade ].

Re: Gym Challenge: Mew Master vs DarkestLight (Ref: Greyfox)
At the time of the reversal, Blade had 13 less HP than Rocksnot, which I don't see as that great of a difference (as opposed to, say, 20 or 25 HP), so the attack only did 10 HP of damage. I was tired when I wrote it, and made a change to the damage (originally it was 7 because I forgot to factor in the damage Blade received from the weakened Power Gem), and just forgot to change the description.

Blade, annoyed and slightly intimidated by the several targets, blindly lets loose another wave of fighting energy that manages to take down the real nosepass [ -5HP Rocksnot / -4PP Blade / -60% Evasion Rocksnot ]. The nosepass clones disappear from the battlefield much to Blade's chagrin.
Miffed that his means of protection helped him none, Rocksnot charges up his next attack. The power gem collides with the mantis pokemon, who is too paralyzed to react [ -14HP Blade / -5PP Rocksnot / +5PP Blade ].
Blade retalliates by shooting off another vacuum wave, knocking the nosepass to the ground hastily [ -5HP Rocksnot / -4PP Blade ]. Pulling himself back together, Rocksnot charges the mantis pokemon quickly, letting the small collection of electric energy he had stored within [ -9HP Blade / -6PP Rocksnot ].
Blade feels his anger subsiding, and calms down for a moment.

Mew Master recalls his fallen mantismon, and in its stead, he summons the dark wolf pokemon, Nehebkau. Rocksnot looks slightly intimidated, but remains poised as he prepares for his attacks. Unfortunately for the rockmon, Bkau has other plans. From inside his protective barrier, Bkau begins barking, taunting the rock pokemon. As if to say, "Don't you dare talk about Mama Rocksnot!", Baby Rocksnot charges over toward Bkau with his remaining energy leaking through his body. As he collides with the barrier, his body releases all the energy remaining in a pent-up explosion [ -43PP Rocksnot ] The explosion gives Bkau much more to fight, as he strains to keep his barrier alive. Over time, the barrier shatters, giving Bkau slight damage [ -5HP Nehebkau / -23PP Nehebkau ].

Rocksnot finally falls and is replaced by Kys-o-Deth, DarkestLight's togekiss. Almost instantly, Kys initiates the round by summoning a protective safeguard to wrap around her, protecting her from ailments [ -7PP Kys-o-Deth / Safeguard activated ]. Bkau tries to replicate this maneuver, but finds himself completely unable to do so [ +5PP Nehabkau ].
Feeling defeated, Bkau fires out a small, snapping bit of electricity toward Kys [ -7PP Nehabkau ], but finds himself even more defeated when the electricity just fizzles out upon hitting Kys' safeguard. She smirks, and plots something daring [ -5PP Kys-o-Deth / +20% SpA Kys-o-Deth ].
Bkau, feeling unhappy, fires off a blade of ice he knows will do something.
