This game is all about rules, and everyone shall make them (and follow them). So if you feel you'd like to make some rules, now's your chance.

Here's how it works:

1. Each post must contain a new rule, which shall apply to the following posts.
2. Each post must (at least try to) follow all the active rules.
3. If someone messes up (either by breaking a rule or by making a rule that contradicts another which is active at the time), the game starts over and the next poster must make the first new rule.

Needless to say, the PCG rules and General TPM rules are always active.

Aside from the rules, the posts may contain whatever you want (we could even try to hold a conversation while playing, but that's not compulsory unless someone decides it is).

That's it for the introduction. Let's start playing.

First rule: every post must contain at least 10 words.

I agree, the point is to make it HARD to accomplish a new post with the rules, not impossible. Also, every post must now contain at least one duplicate word that is of at least four letters.

(For example, I have the word 'post' twice)

For the record, Lady V, my requirement wasn't impossible. In fact, I had devised a new post that remained well within the bounds of the existing rules. See below:

Gloom is what that rule gives to the game, Brian. You can't follow the "no more than 20 words" rule, the "include all previous names" rule and the "Gloom" rule, and still have enough remaining space to make a new requirement (let alone one that ends with a G).

From now on every post must contain a palindrome word (it's easier than it may seem).

Why do you call that repeating? Is it really a repetition if it's not the same word, but a variation? And does the word have to 'repeat repeatedly' consecutively, or can the two words be separate? Your rule is ambiguous!

I'll disambiguate it by declaring that all posts must have at least one word which appears at least twice in them, and at least two consecutive words with the same root! That should every possible interpretation of the previous rule, isn't it cool?

So we're starting over. I'll make a variant of Magmar's rule: all posts must contain exactly one Pokemon sprite, which must not repeat any other posted.
