Indigo's getting used a lot recently. Eh, who am I to complain! We're here for a short exhibition match between dabsaww and Spade. The two newer combatants each give their welcomes, before dealing their fighters. Its gonna be a funny colored Duskull vs an Electabuzz.

Buzz gets things started by holding his hands in front of him and throwing a hefty wave of Psychic energy at Duskul. This throws the ghost around, bt doesn't do more than annoy the little guy. He retaliates with a spherical representation of his type's signature attack, slamming it into Buzz's face.

The Psychic battalion ravages Duskull once more, but the ghost doesn't try for an immediate counter. Instead, it alights a small piece of fire to go flitter and annoy Buzz. Buzz swats it it, and ends up burning his hand.

Glad that burn was in place, Duskull tries to cast a Curse on his opponent. At first things seem to be going as planned, Buzz not even moving. But something was wrong, ...the curse was not getting through. Buzz looked over to the conniving ghost and flexed, showing the barrier between him and that ghosts Curse. Smart move.

The translucent shield doing a great server, Buzz runs free from it and tries to hamper Duskulls snail like advancement. A wave of electricity was shot outward, but Duskull used the same trick Buzz did just last action! It fizzeled away into nothingness, the electric wave.

And wow, here we go again. A blast of light went flying skyward, and exploded into tendrils all around Buzz, but he was still using that shield to block any kind of hampering to his well being.

Finally, done with the trickery, Buzz ran over and smacked Duskull upside the head, trying to Thief that fugly rock mask way. No go. but Duskull did give him a parting gift. A massive Shadowball, complete with powerful after effects!

Buzz, still unsure as to why this ghost continued to try and confuse him, re-erected that shield once more. The light display emitted by Duskull faded away again with no effect.

Irate that this danged tiger wanna be was beating him to the punch every time, Duskull tried once more. The light display rocketed haphazardly toward Buzz, but Buzz was hard at work erecting a statue out of dirt that kinda looked like it. The lights struck it.

Glad to focus on Duskull once more, Buzz ran toward the confused ghost with fists flaring. A strong punch connected with the ghost, knocking him backwards. The icy twinge gave Duskull something to wince about, but Duskull retaliated with a shadowy sphere of hate. Buzz backed away, and watched his clone explode.

Buzz takes a moment to look at his burn. It still stings. Shaking his rm, he then focuses and forces his natural element to come out in a wavy form, creating a bent frame of light. As this Screen is set in place, Duskull pops up from behind Buzz, and shoves him in the back. Buzz stumbles forward, perplexed.

With the screen up, Buzz now tries a well rounded attack. His body glows with fervor until he no longer can contain the massive EMP pulse that discharged from him. It fried Duskull as he tried to sneak around it.

Sparking still, Duskull found himself paralyzed!

Pissed, Duskull floated up, but found himself unable to move again! Staying like a ball under a air tube, Duskull watched as Buzz zipped forward, and smacked him, trying to thief that face mask!

Duskull floats around, slightly winded. This electabuzz was giving him a run for his money. But he quietly mused about the future, seeing something strike Electabuzz from behind, and sending him into the ground. He snickered, and then felt a woosh of energy pass through him.

Tripping up since his punch went right through a ghost type, Buzz had to regain his footing. The buzz turned around to see no ghost. That couldn't be good. So he readied is fist. Right when Duskull struck from behind, Buzz swing his fist backwards and connected with Duskull's side.

Buzz winced, his burn was bugging him. Duskull however, was smirking at the possible future, and began charging up a Shadowball. Buzz wasn't about to let that ghost get that off, so a second Discharge was released from his body. Duskull released that Shadowball however, watching as he fell to the ground spazzing. The ball speared Buzz right in the chest, knockng him to the ground. Lucky for that shield.

Duskull hissed at that shield still existing, and started toward the evil evil Buzz. Buzz alighted his hands on fire once more and began swinging, but he hit nothing but air again. Tripping over his own exuberance, Duskull took advantage and slammed Buzz in the back again!

Buzz got up, fists covered in dirt. He rubbed his sore arm and raised his other hand, the hand that was now crackling with electricity. Unable to really muster any other attack, Duskull tried to hunker down. But the paralysis struck with a vengeance! As such, Duskull was hit by the small but potentially lethal beam.

Duskull hissed, still not happy about how this was turning out. But he could move again, so he reared a Shadowball in defense. Good timing too, as Buzz was completely exhausted and couldn't even raise a finger. The Shadowball struck uncontested.

Sizzle sizzle (3)..and the Light Screen finally faded....and then a masterful blast of energy came screeching from the heavens, slamming Electabuzz on his back-just as the vision foretold (10)

Still pooped, Buzz waited out its time as the Duskull took advantage, fading way and reappearing to clock him upside the head. Buzz took a step forward and slammed his tail into the ground.

Duskull was gettign winded, so the energy needed to make a lethal Shadowball wasn't there. Instead, a small piddly thing shot out and barely bothered Buzz as he stomped over, tail heavy like a Ironrod. Unable to infuse it with electricity, Buzz went for the second option and used teh Iron Tail to sweep Duskull as he then backhanded the ghost, trying to thief anything.

Duskull flipped around in place, stunned by the wily combo.

Exhausted, Duskull looked on as Buzz walked toward him, arms out. The palms of Buzz were glowing, one with a red diode, and the other with a blue diode. The colors were then lightened with the addition of an electric surge-turning them into orange and green respectively.

Duskull cringed as the Charged Signal Beam scorched forth-and slammed into him with extreme prejudice. He rolled on the ground, pained, itching and shocked. Buzz clapped, as he was right ontop of Duskull, trying to Thief that mask. Duskull fainted, but the Electabuzz realized..that's just Duskull's face.

Dabsaww is right. Your Pokemon was still on 0 energy for the first action...
hrm, that could be my fault though. I'm not sure if I explained that when your Pokemon reaches 0 energy, they spend two actions in a forced relax-and then they gain 20% energy back in the style that I ref.

As I scan the reffing, yeah, I didn't mention that, For some reason I assumed I mentioned it already-and that's why when Buzz hit 0 energy in a previous round, I just stated how many actions he was going to be able to do next round, due to my reffing style. My fault for any confusion.
