Arena: Mineral desert

Sand as far as the eye can see. There is one big rock pillar in the middle, shaped like an obelisk. Various strange symbols are drawn in the sand, but seem to dissapear now and then. There's a four turn Sandstorm, then two turns without. Weather-moves are only usable in the two turns that the sandstorm is subdued. As soon as the two turns are over, the sandstorm is back. Earthquake is pretty ineffective due to all the sand; and the drought slightly lessens the power of water-pokemon or water-moves.

Badge: Solid Stone

A silverwhite round stone with a sharp edge. It is according to rumors the combination of his former badge and that of his master. It consists only of pure minerals.

This will be a four on four and this time it'll be two out at at time!
Banned moves: Toxic, Rest and Painsplit.
I'll send out first, you attack first.

Zabimaru, the taste; my male Steelix and Yu, my male Aerodactyl will be my first pokemon.

la Bella, the Female Milotic and Raffelsia, the Female Vileplume.

Bella, start with a water sport. I don't want to see that Fire fang attack. Then, hit them all with a surf attack. Finish this turn with an Ice beam at Yu.

Bella, IF one of them uses protect, dig, fly, bounce, or any other way to avoid the surf, hit the one that did NOT with Hydro pump. If they BOTH avoid, then use this turn to set up an aqua ring instead.

Raff, (and this is HIGHLY experimental, but I saw in the anime, and this IS anime style battling.) Create an energy ball, and EAT IT. (in the anime, Ash's torterra does this to boost its power. Let me know if (whom ever refs this) this is against the current rules, and I will adjust my move set.) Follow up with a Grass knot at Zabimaru, the taste. Finish off by swaggering at Yu.

Round One

First Move
The Gym Battle has begun between MeLoVeGhOsTs and Ayeun. The arena is the Mineral Desert. Sand stretches the sand as far as the eye can see, and in the middle a large stone obelisk. At the moment there is a raging sandstorm. Both trainers begin by throwing two pokeballs each. MeLoVeGhOsTs releases Zabimaru, the tase, a male Steelix and Yu, a male Aerodactyl. Ayeun releases la Bella, a female Milotic and Raffelsia, a female Vileplume. The four pokemon stare each other down as the trainers yell their orders at their pokemon. Yu begins by circling la Bella and yelling insults at the poor Milotic. la Bella is so enraged by the insults she's unable to use Water Sport. Meanwhile it seems Raffelsia is creating a ball of smooth concentrated natural energy. Wait whats she doing? Why is she eating it?! Oh I see it seems Raffelsia has just boosted her power. Zabimaru begins circling Raffelsia and throwing insults. Raffelsia is feels the need to punch someone.

Second Move
Yu begins by flying about in what seems a random fashion, building momentum for a spectacular attack. la Bella, seeing that it would be quite diffucult to attack Yu, decides just to attack Zabimaru, the taste. The Milotic fires a huge stram of water from its mouth nailing the Steelix. Zabimaru screams with pain and glares at Bella. Zabimaru tries to to slap mud into Raffelsia's eyes but is tripped up by some weeds. Hey those weren't there before. Raffelsia giggles with glee. Oh it was her!

Third Move
Yu having built up a significant amount of momentum flies downward at lightning speed. The massive Aerodactyl slams full speed into la Bella. la Bella screams with pain from the incredbile attack. la Bella, now very pissed at Yu, retialiates with a full power Ice Beam on the fossil pokemon. Yu's left wing tip is frozen and is unable to stay airborne so he lands. Raffelsia walks over to Yu and wants to mock him but is unable to. Zabimaru feeling left out springs foward and bites la Bella. Whats this, that was no ordinary bite electrical energy was used for it.

Round Two

First Move
Round Two begins and the sandstorm is still raging damaging both of Ayeun's pokemon. Yu still grounded begins building something out of sand. After a few seconds it seems Yu has built a statue of himself. la Bella and Raffelsia don't seem to notice as they both turn their attention towards Zabimaru, the taste. Silmultaneously both la Bella and Raffelsia attack. Raffelsia holds Zabimaru down with a Grass Knot as la Bella blasts the shiz out of him with Hydro Pump. Zabimaru is annihilated by both of these attacks and struggles to get back up. Once he does he darts towards la Bella and bites the Milotic, jaws surging with electrical energy.

Second Move
The sandstorm suddenly stops. Both la Bella and Raffelsia let out relieved sighs. Suddenly a stream of fire lands a hit on Raffelsia. The weakend Vileplume looks from where it came from and sees Yu or what she thinks is Yu and glares at him. Raffelsia, although pissed at Yu, turns her attention back to Zabimaru and helps la Bella team up on him once again. The pair devastate Zabimaru with another combo both of them dealing super effective damage. Zabimaru now very weak once again leaps at la Bella and bites the Milotic with electrical energy.

Third Move
Yu hiding behind his statue again lets out of stream of fire in the direction of Raffelsia. The unexpecting Vileplume takes a hit. Ouch! Shout Raffelsia as this time the Flamethrower leaves a burn. Despite being extremely pissed at Yu, Raffelsia still turns her attention back to Zabimaru. Both she and la Bella team up on the outnumbered Steelix and launch a devastating attack. Zabimaru is demolished by this attack the poor Steelix falls hard and doesnt get back up.

Round Three

First Move
The Round begins with Yu who walks over to Raffelsia and screams in the poor Vileplumes face. The sound of Yu's screams cause Raffelsia to lose her train of thought and she dizzily wobbles around the field. Although now unecessary Lucian causes a spinning aura to surrounds itself rendering status inflictionos useless. la Bella having been untouched this move causes a massive amount of snow to fall onto Yu crushing the poor Aerodactyl and his injured wing.

Second Move
Yu takes aim at the dizzy Vileplume and launches a blast of fire in the shape of a star. Raffelsia receives the brunt of the blow but doesnt seem to notice as she continues to wobble around aimlessley. la Bella avenges her incapacitated comrade by whipping up a freezing wind which she then aims towards Yu. The crippled Aerodactyl, who has no hope of evading this attack, gets nailed and gets blown to the ground. Lucian hovers over to the front of la Bella and stars deeply into her eyes. Lucian's eyes light up purple and lure la Bella into a deep sleep.

Third Move
Yu once again takes aim at Raffelsia and launches a huge stream of fire, this time however Raffelsia isn't dizzy. In fact the now completely capacitated Vileplume dodges the initial blast, however Yu turns its head and lands a hit on Raffelsia. Raffelsia glances at la Bella and noticing that shes still sleeping decides to make up for her lazy teammate and grabs Yu. Once in position Raffelsia begins to drain Yu's power adding to her own. Ignoring Yu's pleas for help, Lucian charges up electrical energy and fires a beam of it at the sleeping la Bella. The defenseles Milotic gets the crap zapped out of her but continues with her nap.

First Move
Yu starts off the round by concealing rocks all over the battlefield. I wonder why he's doing that... guess we'll find out later. la Bella although still sleeping makes a loud snoring sound which disturbs the nearby Yu and Lucian. While Yu is distracted by la Bella's snoring Raffelsia jumps onto Yu's back and once again drains energy from the poor Aerodactyl. Lucian, also using the same move as last round, begins charging up electrical energy. Once he reaches the sufficient amount of power he unleashes onto sleeping la Bella. The unsuspecting Milotic gets severly shocked yet still continues napping.

Raffelsia jumps onto the back of Yu draining more energy from him. Lucian again shocks the shiz out of la Bella who faints from the enourmous damage.

Raffelsia, now peeved with Yu, jumps onto the Aerodactyl's back and drains the remaingin energy out of him. Yu falls to the ground with exhaustion now fainted. Lucian determined to avenge his fallen comrade shocks the shiz out of Raffelsia.

Actually I'm gonna complain a bit first. Not a MAJOR issue, but it stands out for me right now. I was wondering why I didn't receive any stat-up from Chargebeam. It IS perfectly possible for me not to receive one, but statistically it seems odd. Chargebeam has 70% chance to boost Sp.Atk, so I was kinda wondering (since it was used four times in a row).

If this get cleared (or re-reffed), I'm gonna send out my pokemon then.

Popping in. Finally caught up to this. First off, yeah Spade, I do wonder about the accumulation of Charge Beams SpA. It has a high chance of raising it, so 4 times in a row with not even one raise is either horrid bad luck or you may have skipped that.

Everything else is ok though, so don't think we're harping on you.

Round Five

First Move
The Round begins with both trainers returning one of their pokemon and sending out another one. MeLoVeGhOsTs sends out a shiny Rampardos named Ore and Ayeun releases a Flygon named Buzzer. Suddenly all the rocks that Yu had hidden earlier float up and smash into Buzzer hurting her a bit. After shaking of the hit Buzzer slams her foot into the ground sending a seismic shocwave which slams into Lucian, Ore, and Raffelsia. However, the sand doesn't carry the seismic shockwave that well and does minor damage. Ore decides to attack and conjures up a massive Blizzard which he unleashes onto Raffelsia. The Vileplume loses conciousness and is unable to battle. Lucian drifts over to Buzzer and stares deeply into her eyes. Suddenly Lucian eyes light up purple, glowing with psychic energy. Buzzer's eyelids grow heavy as she slowly drift to sleep.

The next move begins with Buzzer napping and Ore taking aim at her. Once ready Ore opens his mouth and fires a stream of ice at Buzzer. Buzzer takes considerable damage but continues napping. Lucian goes off by itself and takes on Yu's legacy by hiding more rocks for a suprise attack on any newly released pokes.

Buzz continues to nap. Ore is taking his time with his attack so Lucian decides to go next. The Bronzong's eyes begin to glow and he looks to the futur calling forth a psychic attack to strike Buzzer at that point in time. Ore decides its as good a time as ever to attack so he causes a mound of snow to fall onto Buzzer.

Round Six

First Move
The Round begins and the sandstorm quietly dies away but only for a short while. Ayeun recalls Raffelsia and releases Squish the Makuhita. The rocks that Yu and Lucian had hidden float up into the air and slam into Squish. Ouch! Buzzer stirs in her sleep and then her eyes flash open. Buzzer gets up, flaps her wings, and flys up incredibly high. Ore tries to fire an Ice Beam at Buzzer but it doesn't reach her. Squish just looks around confused not sure what to do. Lucian slowly floats over to Squish and fires a whitish ray which causes the Makuhita to begin hallucinating.

Second Move
Buzzer finishes her aerial manuevering and flys straight down at Ore. With tremendous speed Buzzer tackles Ore and sends the Rampardos flying. Ore quickly recovers and blasts Buzzer with a beam of ice. The Flygon takes super effective damage. Squish tries to focus but hits himself in the head instead. Lucian makes a weird laughing sound at Squish, while he erect a transparent barrier around him and Ore increasing their defense.

Third Move
Buzzer slams her foot into the ground causing a seismic shockwave to spread out to the surrounding area. The sand doesn't carry the shockwave too well but it still does some damage to Lucian, Ore, and Squish. Ore once again blasts Buzzer with another beam of ice dealing very effective damage to the poor Flygon. Lucian uses psychic energy to lift Squish off the ground. Squish glows orange trying to reflect the attack but Counter doesn't work too well on special attacks. Lucina then proceeds to throw helpless Makuhita who slams into the ground several yards away.
