Seeing as another forum has brought me back to TPM, why not continue with an ASB fight

Pokes:Lets make this a 3 on 3, which 2 out at a time, but to make matters interesting, the 3rd pokemon is already out and on standby with the trainer, so it's known, but not fighting
I will choose first, you attack first.

Arena: The Taboo lounge: A simple indoor room that has a mystical twist: Every round, a letter of the alphabet, starting with Z and working backwards disappears, so no attack with the letter may be used. (this excludes abilities, as they are not really attacks). For the first round, no attacks are banned, but starting in round 2, forget those Z's......anytime a trainer breaks the taboo, his/her pokemon stands to lose half of their remaining health points. Choose your attacks carefully.

DQ: Lets make it a week.

Banned Moves: Only as listed in the rules of the arena.

Ah Charles (god i feel like Magneto for saying that)......indeed, long time no see. Ive been around, just biding my time ^.^ And I accept your challenge, welcome to the taboo!

Alright Li and Jyles, He's picked a pair to use against our weaknesses, lets turn those around and change these pairings.

Jyles, go after Kasuto! The first thing I want you to do is set up a Light Screen behind Li, so that he can't get hit from behind. Then follow it up with a doubleThunderbolt!

Li, don't worry about the bird, focus on Noble. Start off with a Fake Out to make him flinch, and then when he bites on to you (or attempts) use a combo of Strength (to hurdle him) and Brick Break (to....break...him,lol)

We begin this lovely TABOO battle with an old ASBer Green facing off Charles. They both select their Pokemon for double battle, with a Pokemon on the side. Green sends out his Tyrogue, Li, and his Mime Jr., Jyles. For his side Pokemon, he sends out a Hoothoot and a Growlithe, called Kasuto and Noble, respectively. It's going to be a testoserone filled battle.

Now we begin with Jyles erecting a bright yellow screen in front of Li. Just in time too, for Kasuto goes over and slashes the air in front of him. The slice of air shrinks as it goes through the yellow barrier and hits Li. It stings a bit, but Li shakes it off. Then, quick as a flash, Li bursts through the screen and gets a quick hit on Noble, startling him into not attacking. Shazam!

Now Kasuto does the exact same thing as before. Li winces in slight pain but ignores it and goes back through the screen. He rushes over to Noble, who has his eyes fixed on Jyles, who had his eyes fixed on Kasuto. Li tossed Noble up into the air, making Noble yelp in surprise. Li jumped up with him and then chop down onto Noble with great force. Noble whimpered in pain and landed on the ground...less then gracefully. Meanwhile, Jyles crackled with electricity and zapped the owl. Kasuto screeched as the electricity coursed through his body. Noble got back up and bit Jyles as revenge. Jyles cried out and hastily returned back to his side of the field.

Li can do no more and takes another Air Slash hit. The other Pokemon do the same actions as before, except for Jyles who flinches from the Bite. Noble yips happily, thankful for poetic justice. Kasuto feels slightly singed. The first letter fades: Z. Say goodbye to your Zap Cannon and...and...something else.

We begin the second taboo round with Noble erecting a pink forcefield around both him and Kasuto. Li then starts to Swagger around at Noble...who can't really hear him that well. He feels stronger becuase of it, though. Kasuto collects some dark energy and forms a ball out of it, with he fires at Jyles. Before it hits, Jyles glows blue and throws Kasuto around, before being hit by the Shadow Ball.

Li tries to get the upper hand and splits himself up into five. Noble looks around and sees five Li's surrounding them. He goes over to Kasuto and gives him a pep talk. Kasuto hoots happily and gains more confidence. Which he then puts into action by firing a shadowy ball at Jyles again. Jyles glows blue and flings Kasuto around some more. Then he got hit by the big shadowy ball. The five Li's watch in annoyance as the yellow screen vanishes.

The five Li's gang up on Noble and throws chops at him. Noble tries to dodge them all but gets hit. Only by one though, the others pass straight through it. Kasuto frowns and fires another ball of darkness. It smacks into Jyles who growls. Jyles retaliates by crackling with electricity and firing a pillar of zapping energy. Kasuto cries out and smells cooked owl again. Noble growls at the way his team-mate is being treated and breaths hot wind on the opponent. Jyles and Li wince from the heat and all of Li's clones vanish as well. The Damage Cap Barrier had already been reached for Jyles, so never mind. Noooooo! Now the Y on the wall vanishes. Say goodbye to your Yawn and your...erm...yeah.

We begin with Jyles erecting a dark blue forcefield around him and waited patiently for the opponents' attacks. One came soon after as Noble came bounding towards him, teeth bared. He went through the barrier and felt the strength being sapped from him. His Crunch was actually quite feeble. Kasuto aims at Li and glows blue. Suddenly, a mysterious force strikes Kasuto, like an invisible sword stab. Kasuto screeches in pain and doubles over. Li raises an eyebrow and creates colourless orbs, which circle around him. They change into the colour...dark green: Bug. Li rolls his eyes. How useful for a Flying type. Kasuto is struck by the orbs and vaguely registers them over the other pain.

Now Kasuto very hesitently used his attack again and felt another stab of pain in his chest. Li fires more buggy balls which inflict more damage onto Kasuto. He hits the Damage Cap and feels the pain. Noble bounds towards Jyles and crunches down on him one again. Jyles doesn't know how much longer he'll last at this rate. He still fires a ball of darkness at the nasty pooch.

Kasuto is metaphorically stabbed for the third time and doesn't even feel the buggy balls hit him. Can't...last for...much...longer. He doesn't suffer any damage from the buggy balls, but still feels the taboo. He's lost 47% damage overall. Noble clamps down onto Jyles one final time and Jyles totters around for a few seconds, before toppling over. Kasuto is in real bad shape. Another letter fades, so goodbye X-Scissor.

Alrighty, Li, start things off big, with an Earthquake, and then hit that growlithe twice with Strength.

Ail, go after the Hoothoot! Jump in the air to avoid the EQ, and hit it with a double Aerial Ace!, and if its still kicking, end with an Iron Tail. If hes gone, then attack Growlithe at any point with Shadow Ball until the end of the turn, as we cant use that attack after this round! LOL

We begin with Green sending out his last Pokemon in the double battle: a Leafeon called Ail. She gives off a floral cry and sizes up her opponents.

We now begin with Kasuto striking fast and hard on Li. Li cries out and drops to one knee, whilst Ail, meanwhile, strikes with her own Aerial Ace. Kasuto hoots once, then falls over, defeated. Charles recalls it just before the arena shakes up all nasty like. Ail leaps just before it hits, but she still feels the tremors. Noble, however, was not so lucky. He whimpers then grins as he fires blue balls of floating fire at Ail. Mwahahaha, revenge.

With Noble all on his own, he glares at Ail and unleashes a torrent of fire on her. Ail cries out and feels the pain of the burn. She frowns and fires a ball of darkness at him. Noble whimpers as the ball hits him and can only watch helplessly as Li grabs him and throws him up. He lands painfully and feels that this is increadibly unfair! Yeah...tell that to the jury.

We begin the round with Charles sending out the last Pokemon of the match: a female Kriketune by the name of Karai. It's time to du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-duel!

We now begin with Karai diving head first into battle and angering Li. Li looks at her with utter hatred. What about my mother? Oh right, it was a Ditto! Li ignores her for now and turns to Noble, who's busy Aerial Acing Ail, who's RAGE is BUILDING, before ramming into Noble as payback for the burn. Li rubs his hands together then brings them apart, before clapping once. The air in front of him explodes and continues until it hits Noble. Li grins...and then promptly keels over, out of all energy.

[Li: -0% health, -7% energy; Ail: -16% health, -7% energy]

[Karai: -0% health, -5% energy; Noble: -18% health, -6% energy]

Now Ail is all on her own and tries to even the field by striking Karai with an Aerial Ace and is bitten with dark green fangs for her trouble...and is swiftly Aerial Aced again by Noble. This is unfair, I say.

Now the round repeats itself. The Damage Cap is hit by Ail, which is almost a safety net for her. Noble can't take much more of this and collapses due to exhaustion. Ail also feels the burn. The next letter fades, screwing everyone over.
