We begin this nicely fanatical round with both Moderators of the TPMASB standing on opposite sides of the Whirl Cup arena. A few spectators litter the seats and a half-arsed cheer goes up as MeLo jumps over to his platform and Darkly does the same. I am on my levitating platform with my Wobbuffet and her scuba-diving kit. Both Moderators send out the same Pokemon: Qwilfish. Both Qwilfish flop on their platform and land in the water.

We now begin with Darkly's Puff Puff Stab swimming at fast speeds towards MeLo's Patrick Pressure. Puff Puff leaps out of the water and emits a high screech. Four small yellow discs emit from his mouth. They hit Patrick...and did nothing. The real Patrick was submerged beneath the fake one.

Patrick leaps out of the water and crackles with a weak bolt of electricity. Puff Puff seized up and was stung slightly when the water was conducted. Puff Puff shook it off, but felt very sluggish. As of his trainer's orders, he also crackled and fired his bolt. It hit the fake Patrick and...still did nothing.

Puff Puff chugs around the arena quite slowly, wondering how his opponent has nerves of steel. He felt the water shift around him. He stopped and then cried out when the water beneath him became a swirling vortex. Puff Puff cried out again as he spun round and round. Eventually, he was spat out, but clear water still swirled round him, threatening to squeeze him, should the opportunity arrise. Puff Puff swam over to the fake Patrick and, rather suddenly, emmited a squeal and slapped Patrick with his tail. Nothing...but can Qwilfish become cracked?

We begin this Qwilfish Quar with Puff Puff looking in annoyance as Patrick does nothing at all. Meanwhile, underwater, the real Patrick in doing a lovely little dance. Ooh, was that a loop-de-loop? Lovely darling. Puff Puff prepares his attack, but seizes up again! figjrighnrgjnguihfjkn!

Puff Puff finally gets around to charging at the fake Patrick, but before that, Puff Puff is hit by small, stinging missiles. They don't hurt that much, but they're still ruddy annoying. They hit four times and Puff Puff continues on his way, smashing into the fake Patrick. The fake crumbles and dissolves into the water. Puff Puff was motionless, trying to understand what happened, before feeling movement in his muscles and a blinkin' headache.

Puff Puff feels much better and wonders where Patrick is. He dives underwater and sees the swine. Patrick glows white and Puff Puff crackles with electricity. Suddenly, Patrick turns round, facing Puff Puff, and blasts a disc of water at Puff Puff. Seconds earlier, Puff Puff shot a weak bolt of electrickery at Patrick. It hits, and Patrick feels the poetic justice.

We begin this Qwilfish Quar with Puff Puff swimming towards Patrick. Patrick struggles to move and crackles with electricity. Puff Puff gets closer and emits a high pitched screech. The noise muddles Patrick's brain and spots appear in his eyesight. He ignores them (for now!) and fires his bolt. Puff Puff is hit and starts to smoke.

Puff Puff swam around the arena a bit more and made his tail glow brown. He then swims over to Patrick, who was suffering from Parafusion. Patrick is struck by the brown tail and winces, some mud getting in his eye. Patrick watches Puff Puff swim away and tries to attack, but those spots are SO ANNOYING! He swims around in distress and collides with a pillar.

Puff Puff cackles with glee and he hits Patrick with another brown tail. Patrick cries out and tries to ignore the spots, but they prove to be great adverseries. He also can't see that well. Puff Puff, meanwhile, feels the pressure on his body decreasing, as the Whirlpool leaves, but not before giving him one final squeeze.

Now the shoe was on the other foot. If only Puff Puff had legs. Patrick opens his eyes, feeling much better.

He fires the bolt at Patrick, who seizes up...yet again. Patrick is having a good day!

It hurts, but it would hurt more if Patrick wasn't part-water. Patrick attempts to strike back by crackling with the yellow stuff, but his muscles don't allow such blasphomy.

Puff Puff decides it's time to rest...and does so. Patrick, meanwhile, can barely see and is unsure when and where his muscles will seize up. Nonetheless, he crackles with the trickery of elec and fires it at Puff Puff. Puff Puff is hit by the pillar of zapping and feels the burning pain. Patrick feels more movement in his muscles and flexes them, relieved.
