So, open challenge here. 3v3 match, with 1 week dq period.

The arena: a pokecenter. Ages back, ayeun had a match in a pokemart. The idea was simple, you could use some healing potions from the shelves, and stuff like that. But, I kinda forgot about that and focused on the fact that two pokemon where trying to kill each other in an enclosed space, and what kinda carnage this would have on the store. So, now I'm gonna add in trainers who just lost a battle, and some sort of basement that teleports you to another world where you can talk to other people from other worlds, and so on and so forth. Ideally, the ref should be happy to show their sadistic side on random NPCs.

“Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine. Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine.” The PokéCenter is always full of activity. Bringing in weakened Pokémon to be healed, for trainers to rest and relax their team after a long stretch of victories, or losses. It's been considered sacred ground. For now.

On this day chaos comes in with his team, but they're in the tip of physical shape, he wants a brawl. In a fashion akin to Phoenix Wright, he points out and shouts “objection” at the top of his lungs at the first trainer he sees, which happens to be Metalix Girl, confused, she starts back at him. The line of yelling gets to the boiling point when they start flinging food around.

And that's how the ref gets involved, by a bowl of noodles slamming into his face. That's it! There's only one way to settle this, with good ole animal violence.

And so we have the eccentric chaos redefined against the once MIA Metalix Girl, and one noodly Mew Master. Can Metalix knock some sense into chaos, or will the man's namesake drive her insane?

Let's get things started! Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready! GO!

Setting up a defensive line, Crimson puts up a barrier of light between her and the pissed off Bagon (-3 E @ Crimsonm DEF → +2). Bagon runs under some legs as people scramble for the safety of their Pokémon and he jumps from a table, head first through the barrier and into Crimson (-6 E @ Tiamat/-7 H @ Crimson), shattering the barrier into pieces like from that Superman movie I never watched.

Crimson's not done, as she charges her hand with the cold winds of the north, rushing at Tiamat. The Dragon isn't going to give the the chance as he lets out a burst of burning flames at her (-8 E @ Tiamat, -9 H @ Tiamat/-4 E @ Crimson, -12 H @ Crimson), bathing her in flames before her fist can reach.

It's another repeat as Crimson's other fist glows with a cool energy and Tiamat exhales a blast of fire (-7 E @ Tiamat, -14 H @ Tiamat/-5 E @ Crimson, -11 H @ Crimson), but Crimson was ready for him this time.

The rounds over and the Center is in chaos. As nurses and trainers scramble for safety of the ICU Pokémon, can Metalix bring down chaos and his random antics, or will we see a repeat of the Viridian City Massacre?

That was an interesting first round, but as chaos brigns the heat, can it melt through Crimson's defenses, or will the dragon be the first to experience the new ice age?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready! GO!

The Bagon comes running in, teeth bared and glowing with a dark energy (-8 E @ Bagon), but as he opens his mouth, Crimson shoves her ice-cold fist down his throat (-5 E @ Crimson/-14 H @ Tiamat, FRZ), and with the unexpected event of the attack giving Tiamat one hellova case of brain freeze as ice forms around the hinge of his mouth, with Crimson's fist still in it.

The two struggle, each trying to get loose. Crimson's fist stuck in Tiamat's mouth, while the Bagon has his mouth froze still. He's not ready to give in just yet, as he inhales through his nostrils and a glowing heat starts to come from his teeth, starting to melt the ice (-7 E @ Tiamat). It doesn't do much yet, but Crimson still has her hand in the dragon's mouth, as she hits him with the force of a frozen landslide (-4 E @ Crimson/-13 H @ Tiamat) with her hips!

Only some of the ice melted, and Tiamat isn't too happy about it. He inahles again, a reddish glow from the back of his throat starts to melt and burst through the ice (-8 E @ Tiamat), Crimson struggles at the last second, avoiding having her hand barbequed. She throws her hips at the Bagon again, knocking him for a loop (-3 E @ Crimson/-12 H @ Tiamat) and into a set of chairs.

The fight's going good. The psychic smoocher has the upper hand so far, but can the burning rage of the Bagon be able to melt her heart?

The Center is still in the midst of chaos as.... well... CHAOS battles against Metalix. Will the Bagon bring the house crashing down, or will Crimson put him down for a dirt nape?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready! GO!

Crimson goes for a diversionary tractic, strutting those earth-moving hips of hers (-3 E @ Crimson/Attracted → 50% Chance Attack Failure.). Tiamat's in love (which is an odd name for a sitcom), as he tries to move against his new-found love, finding the strength to leave a substitute in his place (-20 H @ Tiamat, -30 E @ Tiamat/+20 H @ Tiamat (Substitute)), and now there are two Bagon on the field.

Tiamat is torn, but while his love is distracted he thinks about giving her a little love-nibble, and munches on one of her arms (-8 E @ Tiamat/-10 H @ Tiamat) even though his jaws are still numb. Crimson screams in pain, just where did that come from? No matter as she's about to make the Bagon pay for his transgressions in the Center (-6 E @ Crimson/-15 H @ Tiamat (Substitute)).

She's on a roll as she unleashes another powerful beam of cold energy at the substitute (-7 E @ Crimson/-5 H @ Tiamat (Substitute)) at which point the copy breaks and shatters down into a quickly compiled stack of trays, silverware, and the Tuesday special. As Crimson looks in horror as her opponent seems to have disintegrated, Tiamat lays down for a nap, but can't calm his beating heart.

So Tiamat seems on the ropes, can he get his act together to beat back Crimson, or will the Smoochum deliver the kiss of death?

Tiamat's looking a bit worse for wear. In love and beaten on, can he find the strength to fight against his new love, or will Crimson enjoy smacking him around?

Tiamat wants to try and sleep, but is still incited by the Smoochum's whiles. Crimson isn't going to let him get the chance as she starts throwing a tantrum, tossing tables, chairs, desks, computers, and a small dog around the main floor and either way Tiamat ain't sleepin anytime soon (-6 E @ Crimson/-6 H @ Tiamat, Attract → 40% Chance Attack Failure).

Crimson keeps up the act, sending more stuff flying into the air: a table, two trainers, Ed McMan (-5 E @ Crimson/-5 H @ Tiamat, Attract → 30% Chance Attack Failure). His new love isn't looking so... lovely, but Tiamat can't sleep with all this racket!.

Tiamat decides to just ignore the rowdy Crimson, but can't get the rest he needs while she tosses the main desk, some equipment and a Chansey's egg (-7 E @ Crimson/-7 H @ Tiamat, TKO'D!), which explodes on impact with the ground, weakening the structural foundation, and sending chaos, Metalix, the fainted Tiamat, and Crimson falling downstairs.

As chaos recalls Tiamat, rubble comes down, and activates the transporters. Energy crackles as something goes haywire. And everyone's bathed in a white light.

Uuuhg. Where are we?

“Damnit Jim! I'm a doctor not a Trainer!” Oh great, on a barren planet with an away team from the starship Enterprise. Chaos lets out his next Pokemon, the ghostly Spectre. can the ghost put the fear into Crimson, or does the Smoochum have a proton-pack somewhere in her personal Hammer-space?

Spectre closes the gap before laying down a net of electric energy that soaks into Crimson's muscles like water in a sponge (-4 E @ Spectre/PAR → 25% Chance Attack failure, SPD → -2). Crimson forces her body through the tingly sensations before forming a spheroid of shadows and launching it at the Mismagius (-7 E @ Crimson/-12 H @ Spectre, SPDEF → 2), lowering some of her defenses.

In pain, it's not stopping Spectre from shooting a beam of kalidascope energy at Crimson (-1 E @ Spectre/CFN → 50% Chance Attack Fail). Crimson's been knocked for a loop, but she's able to keep her wits about her as she leaps at Spectre and licks her (-5 E @ Crimson, CFN → 40% Chance Attack Failure/-9 H @ Spectre).

Spectre just got slobbered on, but that's not stopping her yet as she tries to center her mind (-4 E @ Spectre, SPATK → +1, SPDEF → +1). Crimson's muscles are obeying her at the moment as she launches another sphere of shadows at Spectre (-6 E @ Crimson/-12 H @ Spectre, SPDEF → -2, CFN → 30% Chance Attack Failure).

The fight's started anew, and already Crimson's bustin up this Ghost's case. Can Spectre bring this around or will Crimson waltz right through chaos' team?

“Spock, analysis?”

The Vulcan just cocks his eyebrow before the sparking transporter kicks in again and everyone is bathed in a white light once more. Where are we going to end up this time?!

Skyscrappers, rubble, post-apocalyptic, save for the frenzied Japanese running away and a deep bell-like roar heard in the distance where smoke rises.

We come down from the teleporter high to find ourselves in.... Tokyo?! Just what the hell is going on?

Spectre and Crimson continue their fight in the panicked streets as frenzied Asians run in terror. Will the destruction of the city bring an end to the fight, or will we see the true horror of this area?

Spectre's off the bat as she gathers the flickering shadows before throwing them at Crimson, resulting in an explosion sending the Smoochum flying back (-5 E @ Spectre/-16 H @ Crimson). Crimson picks herself up from behing blown into the side of a car, before trying to remember what she was doing, wobbling around and getting trampled by the crazied mob (-6 E @ Crimson, -6 H @ Crimson, CFN → 20% Chance Attack Failure, SPDEF → -2).

The ghost with the most is still on the offensive as he sends out a ripple of negative energy, blasting the area (-6 E @ Spectre/-13 H @ Crimson). Crimson's been getting hammered on this round, she tries to get up but her muscles spasm out randomly, leaving her immobile.

It's another barrage of flickering shadows as Spectre presses the advantage (-6 E @ Spectre/-5 H @ Crimson (Damage Cap!)). Crimson's just been getting picked on left and right, so she decides to deal some damage of her own (-11 E @ Crimson, CFN → 10% Chance Attack Failure/-16 H @ Spectre).

As the fight rages on, most of the populace has managed to run. Looks like they're sending in the tanks now, but what are they fighting against. Another deep bell-like roar and there's something off in the distance, tearing apart downtown!

So were back in this very odd world that seems a combination of under fire and zombie invasion. As that strange roar gets closer and the army sets up a defensive line, chaos and Metalix keep at it.

Crimson looks worse for wear, but can the Smoochum ground the Ghost, or will Spectre haunt her dreams?

Spectre floats gently on the wind, relaxing her mind in the midst of the chaos (-4 E @ Spectre, SPATK → +1, SPDEF → +1). Crimson tries to jump at her opponent, but her knees buckle as her legs give out.

It's a repeat of the previous round as Spectre concentrates and Crimson's muscles betray her (-3 E @ Spectre, SPATK → +1, SPDEF → +1).

It's down to the wire as Spectre unleashes a swirling ball of shadow energy mixed with negative emotions (-6 E @ Spectre/-18 H @ Crimson). The attack hits hard, leaving Crimson struggling to get up and flinging herself at Spectre (-6 E @ Crimson, CFN → 0%) but flies through the ghost.

The two prepare to keep going, until the ground shakes in steady intervals. The tanks get ready, as the King of the Monsters himself, rounds the street corner. Roaring a challenge to the tanks, I think we better get out of here! Blue lighting dances up and down his dorsal spines and that glow in the back of Godzilla's throat is never a good sign. The Monster King's atomic ray fires out, just as the transporter starts to kick in again as as Godzilla's attack hits everyone whites out.

Our eyes clear and we find ourselves in a different place and time. It seems oddly familiar here. Oddly, like I've seen this in.... a preview.. Why are those people shambling towards us? Why is one of them missing an arm? Why are they mumbling something about “Brians?”



“OMFG! ZOMBIES! AAAAAAAAAAAAH! PIXALATED UNDEATH!!!!”

As the Ref does his frenzied best to try and fix the transporter (due to his irrational fear of the undead) the weakened and weary Crimson is hanging on by a thread. Can she at least land a hit on Spectre, or will she become one of the ravenous undead as well?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready! GO!

Still having the advantage in speed, Spectre freaks Crimson right the feck out (-1 E @ Spectre/-2 H @ Crimson (TKO'D!)) and the Smoochum is down!

The ref continues to frantically get the transporter to kick into gear, but it sparks, attracting more of the shambling undead, which makes him more frantic, which is never good.

Can Metalix' next pick tip the scales, will chaos press his current advantage, or will they all join the ranks of the living dead?

If only they had a BOOMstick.

So as we come back to this chaotic zombie apocalypse, the ref is frantically trying to kick the transporter into gear while the zombie horde approaches, screaming something about 'pixilated undeath.” Yeah..he's got issues.

Metalix sends out her next combatant. He's small, he's orange, his tails on fire, it's the Charmander Cinnamon. Can the flaming salamander be able to take out the floating ghost, or will he succumb to the terror that is this zombie nightmare.

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready! GO!

Cinnamon rushes in to the fray, ready and willing to deal some damage as he takes a bite out of Spectre's dangly parts (-8 E @ Cinnamon/-13 H @ Spectre). Spectre took the hit, as planned, before she reached out and shared her injuries with the Charmander (-40 E @ Spectre, +31 H @ Spectre/-31 H @ Cinnamon). Ooooh that hurt, that hurt bad.

Spectre uses the Charmander's wincing of pain to lay down a net of electricity around him (-4 E @ Spectre/PAR → 25% Chance Attack Failure, SPD → -2). Cinnamon may hurt, but he's nowhere near down as he slashes across Spectre's face with dark glowing talons (-8 E @ Cinnamon/-13 H @ Spectre), the hit strikes home.

Spinning around in mid-air from the recoil, Spectre starts to spit insults at Charmander's mother (-3 E @ Spectre/Taunted → 5 Actions). Cinnamon is dun ticked off, and that's not good for the ghost as Cinnamon unleashes a blazing heatwave across the area (-8 E @ Cinnamon/-12 H @ Spectre), and it also has the effect of slowing down the zombies a bit.

The ref is getting close to becoming a zombie morsel as he kicks the transporter one more time. It buzzes, it zaps, and everyone's bathed in a white light as the moans of the zombies echo in their ears.

New places, new experiences. A desert with rocks scattered around the area. Why is the ref a robot. Hell, why are the Pokemon robots?!

Ready! FIGHT!

The light fades and everyone feels a bit displaced. As the ref scans the he looks at himself.



“Gah! Why am I a robot?!” What's worse, the Pokemon are now Zoid versions of themselves with the trainers piloting! They really need to fix that transporter. Are we going to be lost in this never-ending trek through dimensional variants of the human race, or can we manage to find our way home?

Area scanned. Battlefield set up! Ready? FIGHT!

Spectre's repulsors kick on and lift her up as she swings in towards the robotisized Cinnamon. It shoots a laser at the Zoid-mander scrambling his systems (-2 E @ Spectre/CFN → 50% Chance Attack Failure). Sitting on the edge of a Command System Freeze, Cinnamon pushes forward. His joints and exaust systems start to glow with an inner power as he slams into Spectre (-7 E @ Cinnamon, CFN → 40% Chance Attack Failure/-7 H @ Spectre).

The hit was pretty hard, but didn't threaten the structural integrity, Spectre floats there, regaining her energy (+5 E @ Spectre). Cinnamon takes the chance to chug forward, but his scannors are out of order and he leaps expecting to hit Spectre, but doesn't and crashes down (-5 E @ Cinnamon, -5 H @ Cinnamon, CFN → 30% Chance Attack Failure).

With a bit more energy behind him, Spectre opens up and charges. Black energy collects into a condensed ball before it's fired directly at Cinnamon (-6 E @ Spectre/-13 H @ Cinnamon). It knocks the Zoid-mander back as he picks himself back up. His systems identify Spectre and he rushes forward again, his metalic teeth glowing with darkened energy as he leaps up and bites onto the Ghost (-8 E @ Cinnamon, CFN → 20% Chance Attack Failure/-13 H @ Spectre).

The transporter seems to have stopped working for now, and with the Ref now a Judge Bot, we might be stuck here. Hopefully it'll spark back to life.

Can chaos win the match and collect the money, or will Metalix use him as her stepping stone to the higher ranks?
