The bell rang, and classes are over. Dogfish walks out of class with his Castform floating beside him, and he's looking for a rumble. Just leaving the school, and near the gates is the popular kid, DarkestLight. Well, Dogfish ain't going to stand for that as he calls the DL out. Up comes yours truly, between when the Art Club gets together and just getting a change of pastels for the meeting.

Here we are, as DarkestLight unleashes a hound-dog of his own, the Poochyena Yeln to face off against Dogfish's Castform. Can the new toughguy on the block take DL's precious popularity, or will Dogfish have his lights put out by the darkness?

Let's get things started! Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready! GO!

Yeln crosses the distance of the school yard in a hurry and slams his tail into Meteon's body like a thing of metal (-6 E @ Yeln/-6 H @ Meteon). The Castform is knocked back but spins as he hovers and a sandstorm starts to whip through the area (-4 E @ Meteon Sandstorm → 4 Rounds).

Meteon continues his assault by spitting up a concoction of sickly goo that soaks into Yeln's fur (-5 E @ Meteon/TXC → 3 HP This Round). Yeln coughs, and confused. This weather wasn't in the forecast!

The Castform uses his advantage to fly in and slams into the Poochyena (-7 E @ Meteon/-8 H @ Yeln, PAR → 25% Chance Attack Failure, SPD → -2) and the top dog's been taken down a notch. Confused and body sore, Yeln doesn't know what to do.

And so it's begun. Can DarkestLight hang onto his status as the school's popular guy (while the girls scream for him and at Dogfish) or will Dogfish take the top spot before moving onto the next school?

So we're still back, Yeln looks a bit worse for wear, being paralized is no fun, especially when a dinkly little Castform is kickin your tail. Can the Poochyena swing the match back to a more manigable forte, or are Meteon's predictions of victory 100% accurate, or will he be chased out of town by an angry mob?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready! GO!

Meteon comes in and slams full force into Yeln's side (-7 E @ Meteon, -17 H @ Meteon/-7 H @ Yeln, -12 E @ Yeln) but Yeln took that force and slammed it back into the Castform!

The hit was a bit disorienting, but that didnt stop Meteon from doing it again, and for Yeln to do it once more (-6 E @ Meteon, -16 H @ Meteon/-6 H @ Yeln, -11 E @ Yeln). Those double hits hurt like hell.

Third verse, same as the first (-8 E @ Meteon, -7 H @ Meteon (Damage Cap!)/-8 H @ Yeln, -13 E @ Yeln) and what a backlash! Meteon had to be protected by the ref's Gardivior for that last hit.

Even paralyzed, Yeln isn't giving an inch as Meteon pummels him. Does the Poochyena have the mettle to keep putting on the pressure, or will Meteon's radar expose the high pressure of the situation?

We're back in the school-yard rumble and the grounds-keepers are going to have a field day with this. Yeln has seemingly turned the tides against Meteon, but can the weatherman beat back the cool kid''s team, or will his desires of ruling the school end here?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready! GO!

Meteon starts to glow as he collects energy for a charged slam, but out of nowhere Yeln comes speeding with a hard paw swipe (-5 E @ Yeln/-9 H @ Meteon). The hit surprised Meteon a bit, but he used that collected energy and slammed into Yeln (-10 E @ Meteon, -3 H @ Meteon (RECOIL)/-10 H @ Yeln) in retaliation.

That was a dirty trick to be sure, so Meteon decided to call the sun (-6 E @ Meteon, Sunny Day → 3 Rounds). The sunlight shines down on the school brightly, like one of those anime you watch where the sun's overly bright. Yeln growls as her teeth cool off to near 0 Kelvin before her runs and lays a bite on Meteon with that cold energy (-7 E @ Yeln/-7 H @ Meteon).

A cold injury in the hot sun, defiantly doesn't make Meteon feel good, but it doesn't matter as he inhales, ready to attack, just before that sneaky dog came rushing in and swiping at him with a claw again (-6 E @ Yeln/-10 H @ Meteon), causing Meteon's collected attack to blast outward above Yeln and into a neighboring tree, setting it on fire (-13 E @ Meteon).

As Yeln coughs, the poison coursing through her veins, and Meteon looks at the tree on fire. Better head inside guys, before the teachers get ya.

The yards starting to burn, or rather the one tree in the yard is, and the fire department is on the way. These two combatants aren't willing to back down just yet as the Pokemon and trainers run for the front doors to take the fight inside.

Yeln's slower than Meteon at the moment, and the Castform spits out a massive burst of fire at the Poochyena (-12 E @ Meteon/-14 H @ Yeln). Yeln shakes his collar, and a soothing bell sound permeates the yard and Yeln starts to feel healthy again (-6 E @ Yeln, No longer TXC).

Proud that he caught the Poochyena off guard, Meteon unleashes another blast of flame (-11 E @ Meteon/-13 H @ Yeln). It almost left a mark but not quite. Yeln grabs a paw-ful of mud and flings it at Meteon's face (-3 E @ Yeln/-3 H @ Meteon, ACC → -1).

Meteon's got mud in his eyes, but that doesn't stop him from shooting one more burst of flame (-10 E @ Meteon, -2 H @ Meteon (Energy Substitute)/-12 H @ Yeln (TKO'D!)).

Yeln finally dropped, and DarkestLight returns him as he and Dogfish44 head into the main building. Will Dogfish be the top dog, or will DL's coolness persevere?

The rumble has spilled into the Lobby of the school (after everyone takes their shoes off of course and changes into school shoes), the battle continues on. DarkestLight's had to go to his next Pokemon quickly, but it doesn't mean he's defenseless. Dogfish has a plan, and it's gonna tear the school a new one.

The cicada Pokemon scitters along the walls as he sends a burst of insectoid wind at Meteon (-5 E @ Nincada/-9 H @ Meteon). The Castform takes the hit and then starts to charge up with a massive combination of attacks (-7 H @ Meteon (Energy Substitute) (TKO'D!)/-16 H @ Nincada), but the full power is not released as Meteon finally passes out.

The battle for the king of the school continues on as Dogfish recalls his Castform an prepares his next choice as the sunlight from outside finally dies down.

The fight's spilled over into the lobby as Dogfish unleashes his Sheildon Ti, a xenomorph wannabe if I ever did see. Can DarkestLight's bug blitz keep the prehistoric terror at bay, or will the stampeed flatten the Nincada?

Ti seems to shiver and glow before she breaks into several copies of herself (-4 E @ Ti, 4 Clones → 80% Chance Attack Dodge). Nincada seems to think 'oh you rat bastard' as it collects some of the loose mud on the ground and flings it at one of the copies (-5 E @ Nincada/3 Clones → 75% Chance Attack Dodge).

With an advantage, Ti calls forth the frozen wind of the north to blow through the school, sending snow piling up along the walls of the lockers and doors (-12 E @ Ti/-17 H @ Nincada). That was a decent hit, but Nincada glows with a bright energy that reflects off the fallen snow and manages to take out some of Ti's sight (-3 E @ Nincada/ACC → -1).

Even though she's blinded, it's not stopping Ti from spitting fire and brimstone before she unleashes a massive blast of flame (-13 E @ Ti), that misses Nincada and hits the trophy case! Nincada looks a bit perplexed, but doesn't pass up his good fortune and unleashes a wind that blows over at one of the Ti (-4 E @ Nincada/2 Clones → 66% Chance Attack Dodge).

The odds are currently in Ti's favor, but being blinded is no fun at all. Can the shield fend off the insectoid invasion, or will she have to be fumigated?

In a burst of flying speed, Nincada rushes forward and zooms along the ground, slaming through all of the clones and hitting Ti for a light hit (-5 E @ Nincada/-1 H @ Ti, 0 Clones). The metal-plated fossil isn't moved by the hit, as she summons the powers of her ancestors to slam bits of the building at the bug (-6 E @ Ti/-10 H @ Nincada). It's a strong hit that knocks the bug off his rocker for a bit.

Not wanting to get hit again, Nincada breaks through the tiles and starts digging down into the school's foundation (-4 E @ Nincada). Before he's all the way gone, Ti tries to throw more rocks at him (-7 E @ Ti).

Without a target, Ti stands there (+5 E @ Ti), eying the tiles and waiting for where the bug may surface next. Floor tiles uplift and break as Nincada erupts towards Ti, slamming into her hard (-4 E @ Nincada/-18 H @ Ti).

Finally, Ti got some damage on her, but can Nincada prevail over the steel skinned mini-titan of Ti? Or will he be smashed under the Ceratopsian stampeed?

Ti is ready to get some altitude, starting to hover over the ground by manipulating her magnetic field (-5 E @ Ti, Magnet Rise → 5 Actions). Nincada hisses in annoyance, and fades to black, then reappears behind the Sheildon (-5 E @ Nincada/-5 H @ Ti).

Nincada disappears again, keeping Ti on her toes, before she's slammed into from the side (-6 E @ Nincada/-6 H @ Ti). Spinning in mid-air from the attack, Ti manages to right herself, before sending a cold wind rolling through the lobby (-11 E @ Ti/-21 H @ Nincada, FZN → 10% Chance Thaw) and Nincada's frozen solid!

Who's up for a bug on the rocks? Apparently Ti is, as she smiles and summons another cold wind of the north to wash over the lobby (-10 E @ Ti/-19 H @ Nincada (Damage CAP!). Nincada tries to struggle, shaking the ice even as he's burried in snow (-4 E @ Nincada, FZN → 14% Chance Thaw).

Nincada on the rocks spells good fortune for Ti. Can the Ice-Aged behemoth stomp out the bug infestation, or can Nincada bring about the Age of Arthropods once again?

The battle is being forced out of the lobby, but Nincada's a frozen bug on a stick. Can the insectoid bring himself together and break his icy prison, or will Ti burry him like a fossil?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready! GO!

The bug starts fighting against his cold confines and sunlight shines through the windows, bringing much needed warmth into the lobby of the school (-4 E @ Nincada, FZN → 22% Chance Thaw, Sunny Day → 3 Rounds). Ti isn't ready to let him get free and calls forth more cold air that puts the school's AC to shame ([i]-9 E @ Ti/-14 H @ Nincada). The hit isn't as bad with the warmer weather now.

Nincada struggles against his icy prison, and manages to crack it just enough, that he digs down into the tiles below (-2 H @ Nincada). Ti unleashes another cold wave of wind to wash over the area, but misses her target (-10 E @ Ti).

Taking the initiative, Nincada erupts underneath Ti with the force of a mole outta hell (-2 E @ Nincada/-22 H @ Ti). And it's a hard hit, cracking the metallic dino's armor. Huffing from pain, Ti's able to summon another northrend wind (-10 E @ Ti/-3 H @ Nincada, (TKO'D!)), and this one slams Nincada into the trophy case, shattering glass and causing it to tumble down.

And so, DarkestLight seems to be at Dogfish's mercy. Can he pick up the slack and turn the match around, or will Dogfish rule the school?
