Man, Indigo has been getting a slew of battlers. You'd think a Tournament was here. Anyway. I'm reffing again. Not really in the mood for flavor intro, so we got Grey and Rise versus Dogfish and Tom. 6 on 6 for the fate of the WORLD!

Ok not really. Tom sizes up this ghost and deems it a simple threat. He flies right toward the small gremlin, whom holds his hands behind his back. Tom collides with Rise, and Rise makes sure to hold onto Tom as he tries to bank away. A fiery hand punched the top of his head a few times before Tom manages to flip him off. That thing plays dirty.

TL: -7E/-12H ~~ Ri: -6E/-10H

Not liking this gremlin, Tom charges up a -Smack to the face- Rise runs way, successfully already striking the larger metallic 'mon with a Sucker punch. Tom gives chase and makes sure to deliver that Thunderpunch to his lower back. Trying to cripple him I see.

Tom lunges for a second punch and connects. This time ice shatters along Rise's spine. He doesn't turn around quickly though. Tom backs away and spies small balls of flame wafting his way. He tries to wave them away, but one flame manages to alight his metallic fingers. ouch.

Meanwhile, the ghost rolls onto his back, holding his upper body up by his forearms. Yeah, how you like THEM apples? (-2H)

Setting the pace for this battle, Rise watches with bated breath as Tom raises a barrier i order to deal with the close range fighter. But Rise won't stand for it. He runs right up to the barrier and pats it with his left hand, before shattering it with an amber glowing right hook! Tom also feels the force from the blow and floats back. Ugh this thing is annoying.

TL: -3E/-8H ~~ Ri: -6E

Not liking this gremlin, Tom charges up a second Thunderpunch to deliver personally to the face of Rise. Rise welcomes this gift with open arms. As Tom sweeps in to strafe this punch, Rise stretches out his left hand, and imbues it with flame. The two swings meet their appointed targets, but Tom got the worst of it. (-1)

Spinning around, Tom swoops in again for a second punch, The icy wind seemed to help it charge up that fist faster than the last. But the ghost was ready. Even though he was hit in the gut, Rise would take the time it spent flying to whip up a Wind that blew from under its body-helping t right itself. This forceful wind struck the Metang,and set it backwards a yard or so. (-1H)

Tom swings again, cracking Rise across the jaw with a well aimed Ice Punch. The blow leaves his head ringing, but Rise does not stay down. He launches from the ground, sending a spiraling wind to make Tom's equilibrium all topsy turvy. As luck would have it, there seemed to be a sheen to that wind as well..

Tom sped in close after regaining itself and slashed at the still grounded ghost. That second hit caused Rise to kiss the sky, as it was a vertical slash. Landing on his head Rise lied there, before kipping up. That hit didn't hurt as bad as it cold have.

Tom winced a moment (-1), and then agian as another punch weakened his exterior. Stinkin' flame!

Tom backed away, hoping the pain would subside, but his body felt hotter and hotter with every passing moment in this battle. He quit playing nice and charged up his energy before shooting skyward. Staying on the ground, Rise just watched as the blue streak went up, and then came barreling down with both arms extended. He stood ready, and threw up both hands to catch those twin fists, as they collided with him.

He sunk into the ground, an impressive Meteoric slam by the Metang, but it would be his undoing. Having a grasp, Rise would pull the beast over his head and slam him into the ground-back bending in order to do so. Tom lied there....dazed.(-1H)

Tom knows that its not or never, and he puts all that pent up energy to use. Streaking around the arena, the blue metallic disc gains enough speed and power to level a building if it so chose. Aiming its trajectory so it would careen into Rise, the beast stepped on the gas, both fists out-Superman style.

As fast as it was, Rise was faster. We'll slow down the tape for you to see the cartwheel back-flip Rise accomplished to completely avoid being hit by either of Tom's hand or of the metallic disc body.

TL: -20E ~~ Ri: -5E

Tom kept moving at that speed, trying to slow down. So it comes to no surprise that Rise charged up a Sphere and threw it with a natural curving arc. The second Tom went to pull up, there was a Shadowball careening down on top of it.

Boom.

Rise smiles as the Metang is recalled. but upon seeing its replacement, he hisses. Dratini's were crafty buggers, and Drasent proved to be just that. She starts off with a volley of energy, to crack Rise's head open with. The blast was pretty potent, but Rise knew he could live from it.

So he sat down, and focused long and hard on the serpent. Drasent felt her body go into a sort of shock, and soon her very life essence began eroding away.

Dr: -5E/-36H ~~ Ri: -15E/-8H/+36H

There. Satisfied with the amount taken away, the ghost lied right down...right into a slithering, enraged Drasent's Dragon Rush. The force of the hit sent Rise flying, skidding and scraping along the Indigo ground.

Rise kept still, even as Drasent slithered over him and fired a draconian flame right on his midsection. He engulfed the ghost. It did its job of cooking the ghost, as well as delivering as little lesson in paralysis.

Drasent knows this ghost can fall, but she just needs to be fast to do it. She streaks forward, and rams into the phantom hard. The hit sends Rise backwards, but Rise lands on all four limbs. Claws grip the dirt, before he blasted forth...and released nothing.

Dr: -8E ~~ Ri: -11H

Drasent just fired another attack off at Rise. Rise falls backwards, and tries another attack, that he doesn't seem to know. Rise wheezes in pain, as Drasent stares him down.

Dr: -5E ~~ Ri: -7H

Rise stares at his master, kinda pissed off that he was commanded something he doesn't KNOW YET. This leads to a nasty strike from Drasent, that sends the ghost flying bakcwards. He falls on his back, and doesn't move.

Drasent really doesn't like this phantiom and rushes in again to prove it. Her slithering body however, gets the best of her, and she goes whizzing into Rise, and slams him into a wall. Meanwhile, this leaves Rise to do the only thing he can. He kicks her off of him, Countering that heavy blow and forcing the serpent to rethink this.

Dr: -8E/-14H ~~ Ri: -6E/-9H

Not to worry, Drasent knows what to do. She coils up and aims for Rise's midsection building up a massive Pulse of energy. Her jaw suddenly slams shut and freezes over as Rise follows through with a nasty Ice Punch of incredible speed and power.

Drasent turns to face Rise and opens her mouth enough for the blast to take over and snap her jaws wide open. As the ice shatters around her jaw, Rise's vision also shatters, as he hits the floor from the impact.

Dr: -5E/-24H ~~ Ri: -13E/-6H

Barely even able to stand, Rise is struck by a thin blue streak of speed and power. He spins before crashing into the ground, sprawled out all over the place.

Dr: -8E ~~ Ri: Gone.

Yay, punkass ghost was gone. Drasent breaths a sigh of relief..until a massively monochromatic bovine appears as her next challenge. Drasent curses her luck and feels a bit intimidated by the bull, that's starts stamping his hoof (o geez and golly crackers..) what a starting hit. Guga (really Guga?) slams headfirst into Drasent. The serpent unravels a bit, dazed considerably.

She gets her bearings together long enough to slither behind the bull and wrap around his hindquarters, before she constricts a tad.

Dr: -3E/-9H ~~ Gu: -7E/-3H

Guga is in a bit of a pinch, he can't actually see his own butt. His tails whip against Drasent, but the dragon has more pertinent things to worry about. She shimmers and releases a Thunder Wave to cripple the beast. This causes Guga some pain, and locks him down.

Dr: -2E ~~ Gu: Par

Guga falls over, paralyzed for the moment, and Drasent freaks out. This bull is HEAVY. She snaps and begins wriggling and biting and headbutting, until she's able to free himself from being pinned! But she's still very wired...

Drasent quickly tries to wrap herself around Guga, all the while raging! Guga is hit alot on his rump and that gets him riled up. He moves away long enough to kick some dirt up and tries to create a nice happy facsimile.

It works, and Drasent manages to wrap around that instead. However, her focus is a little weighed down.

Although confused, Drasent still calls upon a divine touch to help her quest! Guga watches as the serpent glows and he quietly fires an Ice Beam. The beam strikes her and she hacks....right before a Meteor smashes into the Substitute.

Guga goes to hit the Serpent while she's down, but Drasent beats her to it. She slithers away and whacks her tail with her head. Out she goes.....

Guga stands patiently, as Dogfish mulls over his next selection,. A snap of the fingers, and the Pokemon to fight Guga is released. Its...Manbug, protector of larvae everywhere! The bull is slightly put off by this choice, but nevertheless, strives on for his trainer's sake.

The flames that shoot from the bull's mouth head for Manbug, but Manbug erects a shield... that lessens the pain. It's still hot however.

M: -4E/-10H LS: 3 rds ~~ Gu: -8E

Manbug flies forth, ready to evade anything that may come his way. Guga however is having a tough time moving, due to that paralysis that is still lingering about. This makes Manbug's strike all the more easier to accomplish, as he flies right over his left side.

Pleased with his aerial manuvear, Manbug back flips over toward the bull and raises its arms-palms out. In the hexagonal pattern they connect a large blast starts to form, filling the space rapidly. Guga looks up and quietly opens his mouth, as if to moo.

Rather, a blast of ice comes flying up, shooting through the gap in Manbug's arms and striking his right side. This cases the Focused Blast to fly right for Guga, who lunges left. It collides with the beast however, and throws Guga hard right himself.
