Wow. Back in the Dragon Roost for its what-second battle? Well its good to be back, I think. The Master of Mews (ha) waits calmly with his Spiritomb, in this denizen of dragons. Our plucky newcomer jelibean whips out a ....Spiritomb as well? Hrm, guess Mew didn't notice that. In any even, the Illusion is busted pretty fast as a speedy Jib fires off a Sucker Punch that tags the "ghost"...but only does minimal damage.

As Spiritomb's form begins to change, a Shadowball blasts the phantom back, but Jib takes it well. Hrm, well that's what to be expected from a dark type like Zorua. Trickery!

Well, with the deception over, the battle takes a turn for the repetitive. Shadowball preceded by Sucker Punches twice more, and Jib seems mad that it thought it was fighting a ghost but now hasta face a darkie.

DL, did you forget how my gym works? It switches after one of the two Pokemon has fainted. Also, how did Zorak, turn into Misdrevious when the Ability Dex says:

Upon coming into battle, this Pokemon changes into the opponent you are currently facing-though not locked into its moveset. However, once hit by any attack-the illusion is broken. (Special Note: When using Pokemon with this ability, you have to send a PM to the ref that you are using it, and then release the Pokemon as the species you are currently fighting. This would mean that Zorak would come into play as a Spiritomb, not Misdrevious, correct?

The Zorua wags its bushy tail and begins to try and make all sorts of sounds that would just Torment a man's soul. But ol' Jib here, Jib is about 108 times that, and he's heard it all. So without further coercion-out comes the badmouthing, about how this thing looks like a Black Eevee, and gets an Ability that makes it does what black things do, act like other things to be better at life.

GreAt way to piss off the Zorua (I loled out loud writing this)

Ticked off, Zorua lunged for the spirit and raked at his face with a nasty set of claws. Where'd those come from? Jib screeched, and then realized that...hey...that could have sucked more than he thought.

With Zorua so close, it was nothing for the circular phantom to spit out a strange breath of air that irritated the curly hair dog.

More Winds kept blowing over Zorua, pausing its intent for the moment. But once the scales stopped their sticking and pinching and itching, Zorua slashed at Jib again, getting a nice chunk of health! These new ones didn't mess around.

Zorua calmed down now, pleased with his work so far.

Hmm... Interesting to say the least. Okay, Start off with a Curse, then use a Torment of your own before finishing with a Pain Split before his Struggle.

Zorua bounces over to the undulating mass of spirit energy, and slashes at teh rocky base. In a twist, this blow deals a hard blow, as it topples the Keystone over to its side. Surprised at the power exhibited here, Jib shouts something in spirited jibberish, before a strange lapse of energy grabbed the Zorua and seemed to rip at its soul!

Seems Jib put a curse on Zorua, and the consequences of that could be dire.

A strange set of yelps came from the dark houndish like Pokemon, and a second Foul Play maneuver was used. With no natural resistance to those damn claws, Jib was feeling the hurt. But the phantom did not back down., Seizing the moment, it began to wail, an uncontrollable wail that seemed to set itself deep in the attackers' psyche.

Zorua went for a final slash, that would have most likely took Jib out the match. But that sound, that horrible yell was in his mind. As Zorua grunted with himself, trying to attack, Jib righted itself and slowly but securely connected with the kindred devilish type.

Before lone, a strange, but powerful balancing act was preformed, leaving Zorua drained immensely. This also brung Jib back from the brink.

A searing pain ran through the Zorua just now, and he cried out. Whatver curse was put on him was hitting full force. (-18)

Hee hee hee. Okay Jib, unleash a Shockwave, followed up with a Faint Attack and finish it up with a Silver Wind. If he tries to Rest or any other self-help-buffs just Snatch the effects. If he tries a massive Combo of sorts, Protect through it.

i thought that after you use curse you can't use any healing move and i think pain split counts as a healing move if i am wrong sorry i just want to check

A valid question, buuut... according to the AttackDex:

Pain Split -NRM- The user picks a target and opens up a faintly visible conduit between the two of them. As long as this conduit remains unbroken, pain will flow from the greatest to the lowest concentration until it reaches equilibrium. Life energy will flow from the one that’s healthier to regenerate the more damaged. If one pokémon suffers a status effect, the other has a chance of suffering the same status effect due to the phantom pain that is imported from the original. The process of pain transfer is not instantaneous, and even failure tends to burn fatigue greatly. Naturally, rapid regeneration always burns fatigue at an exceptional pace.

Damage: Varies
Accuracy: Excellent. Not a healing move

Naw. Pain Split is a non healing move because its not technically seen as a healing method-but rather a way to equalize the combatants healthwise (and status wise...). You can use PS on a weaker opponent, and in that regard, you can heal them, but at a deficit to yourself (to differentiate from moves like Giga Drain which only can hurt the opponent and heal the user)

Both Pokemon are on the verge of defeat, but Zorua is determined not not fall to the whims of a lowly ghost that can't even float. He lunges and slashes the spirit dais again, leaving the phantom needing time to reform. Jib growls and starts to generate a field of electric energy, that bands out , striking Zorua impressively.

Taken back by that first blow, Zorua shakes off the sparking jitters. Aiming at the phantom, Zoru releases a hefty blast of energy, not seen before. Its as dark as night, and yet Spiritomb seems swallowed up by it once its within range! The hell was that, I wanna use that!

Zorua thinks her opponent is vaporized, but didn't think to look up, as Jib fell right on Zorua's head, stone first. Oww

Zorua growls in anger and lashes out at Jib, who sends a hefty wind to dispatch of the annoying pup. The kicks hit Jib and force it backwards, but Zorua falls under the pain of the gusts blowing by.

Okay, now that Godzilla's Solar Power's approved, time for a smack-down.

Godzilla, make a big Substitute before ringing the drums of war with a Belly Drum and then round it out by hitting that Litwick with a hard Shadow Claw.

With the arena changing, both competitors and Pokemon find themselves in the midst of a terribly hot volcano (wtf ironic.) High above them both on a precipile juxtaposing his own sheer size is Kiaracistname. THe massive firey hellion bellows, giving both Pokemon something to shudder about. For now, it seems they will be left alone.

Godzilla fortifies his resolve and gets to work, creating a Substitute out of the actual floor. Lava spews up and he flaps his wings to cool it, forcing it to mold into a semi recognizable Charizard shape.

As if it wasn't hot enough, the phandle decides to brighten the sunlight. The rays of light beam down, already enhancing fire's presence here. Kia is pleased with this little candle's action.

As the sunlight warms Charizard's blood, he bellows all the same and begins beating on his stomach. Combined with this lair and the sun, Godzilla seems almost...super.

Even the Inferno that the small candle unleashes to try and weaken his foe is unnoticed, as the Sub takes the hit in stride.

Godzilla was feeling great, and with that greatness came a price. He flew over to the small Pokemon and with one foot, stamped on his body, claws digging into its waxlike base. Litwick winced from the raking blow, and tried to counter assault. Phantom energies encircled the Substitute however, before bashing it to bits spontaneously.

Litwick stared in pain and confusion as Godzilla sneered down at him.

A strong dose of sunshine and heat exposure made it slightly aggravating for Godzilla to focus, and he turns his head to let off a massive Flamethrower. He might be overheating....if that was possible (-5)
