I expect everyone has BW pokemon they want to get EXP for so, a basic battle for anyone who's up for it?

Arena is the top of a sky scraper. There's enough room to move around, a couple of pipe vents leading into the building and a set of stairs going inside. The weather is nice and calm, but there's a massive drop on every side that incurs a 10% HP and 5% Energy loss if your pokemon falls off. They will be air lifted to safety by Drifblim floating nearby.

Welcome, everyone, to our 5gen on 5gen match. The match was kinda delayed because of lack of important things like refs, but it's finally underway. Razor Leaf enters the arena and releases his new pokemon, a Yamask named Tutankahmun. Its stone gaze drives fear into his opponent, Charles Legend, who decides to battle with his new friend Ivy, a female Snivy.

Tutankhamun gets to work quickly, collecting loose bits of rock, and, as he starts infusing it with life, he notices a smoldering burn in his back, his mummification abilities dissolving away. But he still gets a substitute in working order.

~Second turn~
Ivy starts showing off her femininity, but the pile of rocks seems uninterested. It's like talking to a brick wall, really. Behind the pile of rocks, Tut can be heard, plotting away.

Ivy starts throwing around a swarm of razor sharp leaves, smacking the sub around for all it's worth. Just when it looks like Ivy is drained by the process, she shows how to act contrary to expectations, and builds off it, boosting her mental prowess. The sub being torn away, the real Tut leats out a bit of fire, and watches as it flows over to Ivy and leaves her burnt.

Tutankhamun realizes that Ivy might start responding to statuses with more statuses, so he throws up a quick safeguard. In the meantime, a collection of leaves are gathered and sculpted to look like Ivy, which allows Ivy to hide behind them.

Ivy Sub: +10 HP

Tut starts cackling maniacally, a small symbol appearing in front of him and in front of the substitute. Ivy uses these symbols as target practice, shooting a small seed that hits Tut and bounces off the shiny safeguard, before the symbols glow, and the sub explodes, leaving Ivy open for attack.

Ivy: -4 EN

Ivy decides at this point to wait and see what Tut will do next. Tut takes the oppurtunity to shoot a Shadow Ball, which clearly hits Ivy, as her pain shows... but it also seems to be coming back at Tut. Tut instantly regrets the move.

Ivy Snivy not really sure what to do in this situation just looks at the new ref of this battle and shrugs his shoulders and focuses on Tutankhamen, with a flick of his wrist a horde of leaves materialise from nowhere and hang around him momentarily before flying at Tutankhamen. The leaves fly right into Tutankhamen knocking him out of the air and onto the ground, slowly Tutankhamen gets back into a floating position with his eyes glowing a dark red. Suddenly Ivy is lifted up off the ground and is crushed by an immense ghostly force which is only powered up by his burn.

Being thrown across the building top by the force of the attack Ivy manages to pick himself off the ground but taking much more effort than is needed. He waves his hand once again summoning up another storm of razor sharp leaves which once again rip through Tutankhamen's body, however he manages to stay floating above the ground but it seems to get harder. Tutankhamen's response once again is to lift up Ivy's body off the ground with his psychic powers and crushes him under the power of his current afflictions.

Ivy once again manages to pick his bruised body off the ground and he steadies himself upright but it is taking a lot of his strength. He waves his hand in the air like a Jedi for the third time and the same consortium of leaves is conjured up and flung at Tutankhamen with all his rage. Tutankhamen is berated by the leaves but is getting used to the force which has been thrown at him, he turns around to face Ivy with dead ghostly eyes coloured a fierce red picking Ivy off the ground once again. With his foe in the air Tutankhamen throws Ivy into the building beneath him cracking the concrete leaving a small hole.

Tutankhamen's eyes start glowing an eerie purple as he focuses on Ivy Snivy taking all the information on his body in, suddenly his whole body glows the same colour and it starts getting bulkier as his abilities become stronger. Ivy takes this opportunity to cough up a ball of bright purple and hurls it at Tutankhamen, the ball lands onto Tutankhamen and covers him in its contents. The goo sinks into his skin and Tutankhamen cringes as the poison gets into his blood stream and slowly begins to chip away at his life force.

Ivy Snivy [-3EN]

With the poison throwing off his momentum a bit Tutankhamen’s eyes glow a deadly red and using psychic energy picks up Ivy and hurls him into the ground then throws him across the arena almost knocking him off the building. Ivy picks himself up off the ground and a smoove coating covers his body like a shield and begins to collect the leftover energy from the attack and focuses it towards Tutankhamen firing a beam of light at him forcing him to the ground.

Slowly floating intot he air again Tutankhamen eyes glow that familiar red again and picks up Ivy and once again throws him across the building top, however as he hits the ground Ivy skids along the top of the building and off the edge. A Driftblim rises from below the surface of the arena with Ivy on top of its head and drops him back onto the building top knocked out.

As Ivy is recalled back by Charles another Pokémon is thrown onto in her stead, this one being a small dragon with 2 large whiskers on its face. Tutankhamen notices the new Pokémon and uses the last of his energy into putting something of a hex on Tusk severely damaging his attack.

With the ghost Pokémon finally falling victim to fatigue he is recalled and Toruk the Archen is sent out in his place. Toruk surveys the area and immediately starts darting around the stage increasing his body’s agility. Tusk notices this and also starts dancing around performing some sort of ritual to increase his body’s strength.

After their preparation both opponents look at each other and take a fighting stance, their eyes meet and in a flash they start racing towards one another at incredible speeds. Toruk lowers his head as he gets ready to bash Tusk around while Tusk brings back his claws ready to strike. They clash with a fierce sound as Toruk rams into Tusk and Tusk slashes into Toruk. A cloud of dust erupts from the force of the attack, once it settles Toruk is seen tumbling back just managing to regain his footing inches before the edge of the building while Tusk has been rammed into the ground with his lower half stuck in the floor.

Toruk gets back onto his feet and starts racing towards Tusk once again this time raising up one of his own wings ready to strike with dragon like ferocity. He slashes this talon across Tusk’s face causing the dragon to wince slightly. He darts out of the way quickly and grabs Toruk. Tusk opens his mouth and begins to descend it slowly on Toruk, however before the blow can connect Toruk struggles free and back to the other side of the building.

Tusk looks at Toruk and rushes over to the blue and red bird before jumping into the air. Toruk looks in amazement as Tusk spins around mid air and his tail begin to shine a bright silver, Toruk tries to lower his head but is met with a smack in the face from a tail as hard as steel. Toruk staggers back slightly and begins shouting insults at Tusk, trying to torment him this method of attack seems to be working quite well.

Once again Tusk tries to beat Toruk over the face but for some reason he is unable to complete his attack. Tusk lands on the ground with a look of confusion on his face. Toruk watches as Tusk momentarily stumbles on his feet trying to remember something, Toruk takes this opportunity to slash Tusk with his claws leaving an orange burn mark on his skin.

Stepping back a few paces Tusk grabs his arm and tries to pass through the pain as he suddenly remembers how to perform his attack again. Rushing over to Toruk, Tusk swings his body around and slams his tail into Toruk throwing him back. Toruk picks himself up off the ground and slashes Tusk across the face again causing more burn marks to be engraved into his skin.

Toruk starts zipping around the field with his speed trying to get the best shot possible, he moves just behind Tusk and opens his mouth releasing a bright orange flame which washes over Tusk causing orange burns to ravage his skin. Tusk turns around and starts moving from side to side to try and get Toruk to follow him. The bird starts watching Tusk and the swaying motion begins to make him confused but also incredibly angry.

Still dizzy from the swaying around Toruk manages to get his head long enough to fly up into the air performing a few loops to show off his agility before falling back to the ground and slamming his body into Tusk knocking him back. Tusk looks to the sky and starts swinging his arms around chanting some weird language. Toruk looks up to the sky as well to see what is happening, suddenly the clouds part and a massive meteor comes out of the sky and hits Toruk crushing him under the weight.
