I'm too drained at the moment to think up a mildly interesting arena. Challenger can go ahead and do that. (Nothing with too many bells and whistles. Baby steps for Oslo.)

Ahh. New day at the Plateau. Things have been kinda slow. Most me battles are wrapping up. Time to take a quick jog around the Plateau, just to make sure everything is in...

Why did Ayeun just climb the fence?...:neaks after::

...Holy crap. She's having a battle? But who is she figh-OMFG THAT'S OSLO! ¬¬...Yeah I'm reffing this.

He pulls out a Electrike, against her Snivy. Fight starts unceremoniously, with the Electrike watching as he's surrounded by primitive snakes with legs. Well he was, until the flashes of light that streaked from his body dispelled them all and knocked the real one down a note on the pride-o-meter.

Displeased with her immediate pwnage, Snivy tries for a Substitute, but that goes up in flames. Literally.

Shocked how fast the Sub was eliminated, the Pokemon tries to Attract the poor dog. But Sparkle Motion seems impervious to her charms. In fact, it looks like he thinks she could be hotter. By...setting her on fire. That's how it always works. Ouch.

Sparkle barks, wagging his tail in approval of his job so far. In order to keep up the pressure, he sparks up and lets loose a wave of electricity at the Snivy. The snake with legs quickly flicks up a Substitute...but it's too late.

Sparkle barks with glee as the grassnake falls over with a squeak.

SM: -2E ~~ Sn: -7E/-10H Sub: 10

With the Snivy down, Sparkle kicks his butt into motion. The Substitute however, receives the brunt of this head on charge, as it explodes into a series of cotton fluff and leaves. Snivy stands quietly by and manages to lather up the pup with a small set of seeds. They sink into Sparkle's back and begin their job. (-/+1)

SM: -8E ~~ Sn: -3E Sub: Boom

Snivy takes command of this round by initiating a Draining session. The pup doesn't approve as his health is zapped away. Why wasn't that Pokemon on the floor in pain! With the draining forces zapping his strength, Sparkle switched to something...random. A yellowish white sheet of energy plastered over Snivy, and caused a nasty crippling effect! (-/+1)

Snivy hisses, and starts to generate a wind volley that carries a blast of leaves with it. The cycle of leaves reaches Sparkle a few seconds too late. The shield Sparkle was working on comes into play, and makes it debut against the Storm of leaves. Snivy watched with glee, even as Sparkle seemed fine with its existence. (-/+1)

Sparkle winces, and takes a second chance at a leaf enhanced attack, but feels his body lock up. Motion grins, and fires a multi colored beam that Snivy seems to be at ends with.(-/+1)

Sparkle grins and fires it again. It strikes and gives Snivy all sorts of itchy pains. But Snivy finds its ability to move and then fires back. A series of thin leaves flies forth and slashes the electric type, knocking him back a notch.(-/+1)

Even with the seeds covering his body, Sparkle wasn't too worried about the match. He trotted over to Snivy, whom was having trouble coming to terms with his weakness. A swift set of bites gave her a nasty shock into reality, and she retaliated with a draining attempt. Well...not really as strong as she'd like.(-/+1)

Sparkle grins behind his shield of energy and dashes forth to cripple Snivy with a Headbutt. The hit connects and he gets a moment's reprieve as Snivy falls over. But the angered grassnake retaliates with another Leaf Storm. Her Ability driving the power behind this, it does cause some damage, but Sparkle knows he has him on the ropes. (-/+1)

Snivy pants, and strides over with his hands out in a menacing manner. The green aura flickered a bit before staying on Sparkle, who runs through it and smashes into the snake's chest with a heavy attack. Snivy rolls back paused by paralysis and by just actual pain to his sternum.(-/+1)

Sparkle stared down Snivy as it stood up, determined to stretch this match out as long as possible. That aura latched onto Sparkle adequalty, but it came at a price. A flurry of purple blitzed Snivy, and knocked him on his rump-a rump that was toasted upon impact.(-/+1)

Sparkle stares at Ayeun, whom smirks and points to the field. The ground rumbles, and to Sparkle's dismay, 5 massive crimson towers spike up from the ground, and each leer at him. Sparkle nixes trying to fly, and fires off ninja stars to dispel the images. All the Crimson Onix fade, and the real one grunts slightly as the stars connect.(-/+1)

Not approving of his denial to flight, Sparkle dashes over and tries to bite the Pokemon. But Onix rears its body up and slams its tail onto the ground, throwing Sparkle off course. The quake is powerful and Sparkle can barely withstand its force. (-/+1). Sparkle winced, but he managed to stand and lunge at Onix, biting that massive rock snake. It stung, and Rage shook Sparkle off.

Sparkle, still in close range to Rage, was able to use his speed to his advantage. He Snarled, even as the ground began to shake and toss him all about. Rage took the Snarl as a threat and made sure to make that Electrike bounce around like a Purple Teletubbie. (-/+1)

Refusing to waste any more energy than necessary, Rage rumbles around in place, as the speeding purple bolt smashes his teeth into his underbelly. Rage grumbles and slams his tail into the ground even as a series of lights sparkle off or motion's body and hammer into said tail.

The stones that fly up though, are not so easily deflected and pelt the pup's hide.(-/+1)

Okay, so it looks like both sides have a type advantage! Calories, I want you to lead off with Hail. Then Avalanche, then Icy Wind.

Now its Oslo's turn to release, and he releases a...god that ice cream cone is STRANGE! SEE! Even Rage gave it the "WTF" face! Aaanyway. CValories blows out a bunch of frosty air and begins spinning in it. Using real time magic, we see clouds rise up into the atmosphere and begin raining down Hail pieces. Rage notes this and instantly swings his tail across the broken ground.

His repetitive measure starts to blot out the Hail and the sun...and create a Sandstorm of sorts.

SS: 6 act

Sandstorm does a rock Pokemon good, as Onix quickly starts to burrow underground. The Avalanche does nothing but cover the ground, making it more imperceptible to find Onix. (-1)

Well, Calories begins to play with the snow. Why attack when there's no one around, and there's snow to have fun in. Calorie gets in a good amount of playtime as Rage waits for an attack that'll ever come since he's not in sight. So he digs up and smashes into Calories with his rocky head, only to now be brought into a windy chilly climate. Rage groans and slithers away from the colder land to a warmer patch of non snow covered ground. (-1)

All this sand blowing around was doing Calories no good. As Onix barreled forth, bringing a flurry of Rocks up from his churning of the earth, Calories bounced left and right. The stones were soon too much for Calories to dodge, and the ice cream cone found itself buried.

There was a blessing though. Rage stared up, and noted the lack of sand blasting everywhere. Instead was a chilling snap and the first few falling pieces of the icy heavens themselves. (+/-1)

H: 8 act.

Calories finds a way out of the rubble and smirks, seeing the weather was more to his liking. Rage was against it though and threw a few more rocks to illustrate his point. They struck Calories, whom quietly took the plinks to his cone base. Calories winced, and then..gave off a raspberry at Rage. Rage was taken aback-this cone had time to make funny faces?

Guess so, cause a massive Blizzard shot from that cone, and swept over Onix with all the rage of a thousand angry Salamences. (+/-1)

That wasn't great at all. With all thsi chilling wind, Rage knew he had to stop this cone. But, as he forced more rocks to fall over Calories, the clouds seemed to respond with the same attack..only covered in ice! (+/-1)

With all this cold chill, Rage knew he could freeze to unconsciousness! To eliminate that from happening, Rage tried another tonnage of rocks on the ice cream Cone. It hurt, but since he was halfway buried, there really seemed to be no change. (+/-1)

It took a while, but Rage could hear something under the rubble, and then the sprays of water came flying out. In this cold, the water hit his body and freeze, making it harder for Rage to move.

Cal knew this couldn't keep up, and hastily burrowed within the rocks. Rage tried to find where that little creamy treat was moving around to, but with all the cold, it made it difficult to move fast. (+/-1). So, when the water spray came flying up again, Rage was at a loss for what to do about icy hellion attack-except throw rocks to cover it!
