I'm hoping for another battle. Anyone game?

Type: Three on three, one out at a time. However, when one Pokémon faints the other trainer returns the victor and both send out new ones. The victor chooses who sends out first.
Rules: Abilities on.
Banned Moves: Destiny Bond, Perish Song, Paint Split, Curse, HP restoring moves, and Toxic. Anything else?
Arena: An old gravel quarry with a sheer wall up one side and a fair sized clear pool at the foot of it. The other two walls crumble down from the cliff to the borders of a forest with an old dirt road. The arena is scattered with bolders, though most are gravel barely holding together. Grass has overgrown the top of the walls and is growing in scattered clumps throughout the quarry.
DQ: 1 week.

Round One… Fight!

Calypso is minding her own business, exploring the supposedly abandoned quarry when she hears a strange, angry call. She turns, and cries out in shock and horror as boiling hot water splashes onto her unexpectedly (9 DMG @ Calypso, 2 MP @ Samurai). The assailant; an infamous warrior Dewott named Samurai, is expressionless, his focus unwavering as his target stops her shrieking, and suddenly calms. A faint, pink-purple aura surrounds Ralts, before fading. Calypso has regained her calm exposure (+1 SPATK, +1 SPDEF @ Calypso, 3 MP @ Calypso).

Samurai isn’t fazed by Calypso’s lack of fear, he charges bravely, paws beginning glow brightly as the bug energy. Ralts’s eyes glow yellow as her own body crackles with electricity, it grows wild and hard to control before it flies at the water type. Dewott manages to hold in a pained cry as the electricity rips through his body (11 DMG @ Samurai, 5 MP @ Calypso). Despite this, he pushes forward, leaping to left he frees himself from the thunderbolt and reaches Calypso, slashing the psychic pokemon with in a bug-laced x-scissor (9 DMG @ Calypso, 4 MP @ Dewott). Calypso flies back, groaning, she rubs her chest where a clear ‘x’ mark is on it as she recovers.

Seeing his opponent clearly wounded, Samurai takes the offensive again. Dark energy now graces the Dewott’s paw and claws. Calypso sees this, and her eyes begin to glow white as her opponent charges so blindly. Samurai suddenly feels rather strange, he looks at his dark paw to see the nightmarish power leaving as quickly as it came, and in his mind some sort of block is preventing him from summoning it back. Annoyed, Samurai glares at Calypso, who simply stares back, rubbing the x on her body (3 ENG @ Samurai, 4 MP @ Calypso).

Round Two… Fight!

The fight continues with Samurai doing an elegant spin, his nerves calming as his fighting spirit receives a boost (+2 ATK @ Samurai, 3 MP @ Samurai). His eyes open, and he’s hit square in the face with a psychic powered headbutt from Calypso, who, as her opponent flies backwards, does a quick flip to regain her composure, watching with a slight smirk as Samurai rolls along the gravel, before bouncing back up into a combat stance (10 DMG @ Samurai, 2 MP @ Calypso).

Samurai hurries forward, paws glowing again like he did in the round before. Calypso brings her hands out, summoning a flashing green, white, and red beam that streaks across the gravel quarry. Samurai again is hit by a ranged move, but this doesn’t hinder him nearly as much as the thunderbolt did (9 DMG @ Samurai, 4 MP @ Calypso). He pushes forward, and slams another ‘x’ down upon the Ralt’s chest, making the wound deeper, as it begins to turn red (12 DMG @ Calpyso, 4 MP @ Samurai).

With little distance between them, it doesn’t take Samurai much time to slam poor Calypso again, sending her crashing into the concrete wall that’s still standing (13 DMG @ Calypso, 4 MP @Samurai). Now, there is an ‘x’ forming on her face, and she groans while rubbing it. Green energy suddenly swirls around the little Ralts and a rush of air brings forth a strange group of leaves over the wall. They immediately zoom downwards, slicing into Samurai and forcing him away from Calypso (10 DMG @ Samurai, 2 MP @ Calypso).

Round Three… Fight!

Samurai hurries forward, paws glowing once again, ignoring the strange murmurings his opponent is making. Though in a second it’s revealed that maybe he shouldn’t have brushed off the whispers so easily. Gravity seems to lose its hold on the Dewott, and he is lifted clear off the ground as a soft pink glow dances about him (4 MP @ Samurai). Samurai glares, his opponent has rendered him rather defenseless.

How irritating (3 MP @ Calypso, FLT @ Samurai).

Calypso has the temporary advantage, but she knows it won’t take Samurai long to figure out how to move once again (no matter how awkward the movements are). She concentrates, hypnotic waves emanating from her and fluttering towards Samurai. The telekinetic power holding him makes escaping the rays rather difficult, and soon the water type falls asleep (4 MP @ Calypso, SLP @ Samurai).

This round isn’t going in Samurai’s favour; he can’t see it but a dark, ethereal energy is flowing from Calyspo, into his defenseless mind. Suddenly his dream worlds shifts and churns, and before long he’s inside a malfunctioning electrical plant; with water seeping onto the floor, as bolts of electricity fly at him, one connecting (5 MP @ Calypso, 4 DMG @ Samurai).

- Nightmare’s damage will increase each round, much like toxic. It prevents the victim from gaining any benefits from sleeping.
- Nightslash is no longer disabled.
- FLT is short for ‘Float’, it makes movement far more difficult, but pokemon can easily adapt to learn how to fight while afflicted.
