You can choose. Number of pokemon, DQ, Banned moves, arena. Go nuts.

    Alright then.

Hmm...A fairly basic forest, about 30x30 feet, with trees with branches starting about 7-10 feet up (with canopy at 15ft). Dirt and leaves all over, trees scattered about mostly around the edges (i.e fairly open in the center).
    SQ...4 days sound good?
Banned moves: Nothing primarily Evasion/Accuracy de/buffing only. I.e Ancient Power is fine, Double Team or Sand-Attack are not. Point is, if it does something besides reduce accuracy/increase evasion, it's okay.

I'll send first, you attack first.

I'll start things off with Parker, my (Compoundeyes) Joltik! Male, of course.

Alright, since this is a forest I'll use Bug pokemon aswell. I'll send out Harvey Drillbit, my male Dwebble.

Trap it in a Sand Tomb! Then Substitute and finish with Stone Edge!

Also, is this a 1vs1, or?

Let's say 2v2. Nice and quick.

Alright Joltik, first up use Spider Web to swing away from his Sand Tomb. Next, use Disable to keep him from using Substitute. Then, if he's able to use Stone Edge right after being released from Disable, Thunder at point blank! Otherwise, hit him with Energy Ball.

Sand Tomb ~ Substitute ~ Stone Edge

A very classy young man (donning a monacle and top hat, of course) and a ghost expert (without a monacle :O ) decided to have a faceoff in this fairly empty forest clearing. After fumbing with the pokeballs on their belts, the two trainers select their pokemon, a little sparky spider and a hermit crab materialise in a burst of red light.

    ***

Harvey Drillbit lifted his pincers high in the air, which caused a swirling mass of sand to fly at Parker like a miniature tornado, however his quick reflexes came into play when Parker let out a single silky string and took to the trees SpiderMan style. The tornado just followed him however, and whether he liked it or not Parker would now be trapped in the vortex for the next few actions.
Parker: -4 HP, -2 NRG ~ Harvey Drillbit: -3 NRG

    ***

Harvey Drillbit, pleased by his success, scuttled to the edge of the forset and picked up a few little leaves to create a model of himelf. However, upon touching the final leaf HD began to glow with a red aura, and found himself unable to move. The incomplete Substitute dissipated, much to the delight of Parker, whose concentration was broken by the sand grinding against his body.
Parker: -6 NRG, -2 HP (ST) ~ Harvey Drillbit: -4 NRG

    ***

Parker took full advantage of his opponent's immobile state and summoned a huge thunderbolt from the heavens to trike him while he was weak. And it worked. The hermit crab shook from the effects of the Thunder, before summoning a volley of sharp-edged stones to cut at little Parker.
    Parker: -10 NRG, -18 HP, -2 (ST) ~ Harvey Drillbit: -10 NRG, -12 HP

Sorry! Heh, I have all my battles open, but I guess I closed this one by accident.

Alright, Parker, first things first, use Pursuit to try and escape the sand trap. Worst case scenario, it'll follow you and hit Harvey instead. Next, use Toxic while you're up close. Then, use Energy Ball.

If you can't get out, or the tornado whips you up too quickly, just use Thunderwave instead of Energy Ball.

    Pursuit ~ Toxic ~ Energy Ball/Thunderwave

Substitute ~ Shell Break ~ Stone Edge

HD began to fumble around with the grass, rocks and some of the residue sand from his previous attack, and sculpted it into a rough interpretation of what he himself looked like, he poured some HP into it, a fairly decent amount, before stepping back to admire his handiwork. It was a good thing that he stepped bacck when he did - Parker appeared from the shadows and struck the clone with dark energy, but the Substitute held it's shape. Several cracks appeared in the rock, but nothing more. HD simply chuckled inwardly at Parker, who looked bemused and was being eaten at by the miniature sandstorm that was still swirling around him.
Parker: -6 NRG, -2 HP (ST) ~ Harvey Drillbit: -20 HP, -8 NRG (+20% HP Substitute, -5 HP subs)

    ***

Still looking somewhat confused, Parker closed his eyes for a moment before spitting out a glob of the most disgusting green liquid that Harvey had ever seen, but it just hit the Substitute and rolled off the surface. Meanwhile, Harvey Drillbit grabbed one of the larger, pointed stones from scattered around the arena from his Stone Edge attack, before raising it and hitting his own shell with a resounding crack. The attack was successful - his shell was now in tatters, and many sharp edges made his attacks pack more of a punch, plus he felt lighter so an increase of speed occur. However, his previously impenetrable shell had lost its resillience and Harvey was open to attack. Parker took damage from the Sand Tomb once again, but this time it dissapated easily and left him free of the attack.
Parker: -4 NRG, -2 HP (ST) ~ Harvey Drillbit: -7 NRG, +20% Attack, +20% Sp. Attack, +20% Speed, -10% Defence, -10% Sp. Defence (15 HP Subs)

    ***

The now much speedier Harvey moved first, summonning the sharp stones and remenants of his shell to hit Parker, and hit him hard. The little Joltik grimaced from the force of the attack, before charging up a vivid green ball of energy and firing it in the direction of the Substitute, which very nearly shattered, but held its shape.
Parker: -7 NRG, -24 HP ~ Harvey Drillbit: -10 NRG (-9 HP Subs, 6 HP)

Since MLG has said his connection is spotty at best right now, I'll give til the 14th to post (so 2 weeks total DQ) before I consider the match "over".

    Sorry sorry.

Rockblast! Then Stone Edge! Finish with burrying it in a Rock Tomb.

If it tries evasion maneuvers, set up a Sandstorm.

Use Energy Ball to hit it from a distance. Then, use Protect to guard against the Stone Edge. Finish things off by getting in close with Pursuit (Hey, the "dump rocks on his head too" strategy worked before :p)
