If no one wants in on this action, I'll take.

    I choose...

Fracktail, my male Onix with Rock Head, and Hiphopopotamus, my female Hippopotas with Sand Stream.

Fracktail, Screech Riolu. Follow with Double-Edge on Riolu and then AncientPower on Scyther.

Hiphopopotamus, start with Yawn on Scyther. Then two Body Slams on Riolu.

Hello people of somewhere and welcome to today's battle. The two challengers are Ash and Oslo. They decided on this remote place which takes FOREVER by plane. And top it off, they've made it a double battle, so I have twice the fun. Ash sends out his Pokemon, a Scyther and a Riolu, whilst Oslo sends out an Onix and a Hippopotas. Sand erupts from the hippo's body, making it kinda hard to see and makes Onix pretty specially bulky. Now let's begin.

Lightning fast Slash heads over to the thicker trees and creates a substitute, before retreating back. Ricario does the same, going over to the small cave and putting up his own sub. He then goes deep into the cave, but as he goes a certain distance, he feels a twinge. He can't go too far into the cave, he needs to keep his connection to the substitute. So he stays where he is. A large shadow then blocks the light of the cave as Fracktail eyes up the sub. He screams at it, but nothing happens. Fracktail frowns, does this thing have Soundproof? Hiphopopopopopopopopotamus, meanwhile, is eyeing up Slash's sub. She yawns at him, creating a large bubble that pops in front of the sub...but nothing happens as well. Hipho frowns, does this thing have Insomnia?

    : -0% health, -6% energy; -7% energy, -0% health:
[Sp. Def +2] - [Sand Stream]

Behind the safety of the sub, Slash starts to dance. An ancient dance that makes the user more powerful. He then watches as both Fracktail and Hiphopopopopopopopopotamus close in on Ricario's position. Ricario isn't too worried, but he gets worked up, nonetheless, feeling more stronger. He then hears a crash and his sub goes flying across the cave, smashing into a wall, cracking in several places, but still holding together. Fracktail moves out of the mouth of the cave as Hipho waddles in. She launches herself into the air and belly flops onto the sub, crushing and disintergrating it. Ouch. Upon realising it was a sub, Hipho turns to Ricario angrily, making him smile sheepishly.

Slash continues his safe place and creates a transluscent shield around himself that sinks into his skin. He then seeks out Ricario and creates a shield around him, with a little difficulty. Ricario, still eyeing Hipho, shows that he's not around, showing off his muscles and feeling more bulky. Outside, Fracktail turns away from the cave a spots Slash's sub. He summons glowing rocks and throws them at the sub, destroying it instantly. Fracktail then looks around as he wonders where the hell Slash went. In the cave, Hiphopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopotamus grins, then leaps onto Ricario, forcing him to the ground.

ricario taunt* fracktail into the cave, and scyther do the same taking Hiphopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopotamus into the trees then ricario seal the cave with rock slide and use orre to navigate, slash use ninja skills to hide in the trees and hit with x-scissor and (if he can learn it yes if not just x2 x-scissor) grass knot(factoring in technician) finally ricario needs to hit fracktail with an orre sphere and lure him deeper into the cave *if he tries to block just use x-scissor and orre sphere respectively

Fracktail, follow Riolu into the cave and just start spamming Earthquake. No need to aim.

Hiphopopopopopopopopotamus, follow Scyther into the forest and dish out an Attract. Then use Body Slam followed by Rock Slide.

    So, Ash your attacks are:
Ricario: Taunt/Aura Sphere ~ Rock Slide ~ Aura Sphere
    Slash: Taun/X-Scissor ~ X-Scissor ~ X-Scissor

As I can confirm Scyther does not know Grass Knot. Your attacks just weren't hugely clear.

We begin the next round with both of Ash's Pokemon going into hiding. With a barrage of insults, they ensure both Fracktail and Hipho will follow Ricario and Slash respectively. Fracktail follows inside the cave and with a loud roar, creates a powerful shockwave that causes the cave to shake and Ricario to fall over. Hipho meanwhile, is angry at Slash for taunting her and instead of what her trainer has ordered, screw that, she feels like headbutting the guy!

    : -5% health, -7% energy; -7% energy, -9% health:

    : -0% health, -9% energy; -5% energy, -0% health:
[Sp. Def +2, Taunted] - [Taunted]

Slash goes all offensive, springing from his hiding place and strikes Hipho with his scythes, causing her to fall back. Ricario, meanwhile, slams into the side of the cave, causing rocks to fall in front of the entrance, a few smacking into Fracktail on the way down. It's not enough to cover it completely, but Fracktail won't be getting out too easily. Doesn't matter for him though, as he lets loose another shockwave, causing Ricario to topple over and shake some of the rocks away. Hipho, in another meanwhile, attempts to track down Slash. A rustle in the trees and Hipho leaps at it, flattening the mantis.

    : -3% health, -9% energy; -7% energy, -11% health:
[Sp. Def +2, Taunted] - [Taunted]

Slash hides back into the trees and attacks Hipho again, who's now getting really frustrated. In the cave, meanwhile, Ricario can still see fine, as well as Fracktail, so aura is not necessery. He still needs it, though, to create a large, bright blue, sphere of energy. Ricario fires it at Fracktail, hitting him square in the jaw, causing massive damage. Fracktail retaliates by releasing his shockwave, toppling Ricario for the third time and causing the rocks to dislodge from the cave mouth, making it a pile of rubble. Outside, Hipho thinks she's found Slash and makes rocks tumble down. She was slightly off, but still catches him mostly.

Neither Riolu nor Scyther can learn Taunt. And I'm going over Ash's commands and I don't believe he actually ordered Slash to use Taunt anyway. Just wanna get that fixed before I issue attacks.

Yeah, this is true. Okay, command time:

Fracktail, Screech and then two more Earthquakes. Simple.

Hiphopopotamus, lay a Stealth Rock. Then two Rock Slides.

ricario you see the water on the ceiling use rock smash on it those earthquakes should have weakened it then, if the onix is still somehow standing after having a lake poured on it use low kick x2, if not use nasty plot then swords dance
scyther lure the hippo to the cave to get it nice and wet then light screen and silver wind x2 factoring in technician and scyther flying over the stealth rock
    ricario rock smash-low kick/nasty plot-low kick/swords dance
    scyther light screen-silver wind x2

We begin the next round with Slash leading Hipho over to the cave. If only she wasn't so slow! Ricario wants to make the environment a bit more...shall we say, friendly for his adverseries. He jumps up high and smashes the roof of the cave, hoping for water to gush out. It does, kinda. Well it pours out in a way that makes Fracktail uncomfortable, but after a few days, the cave will fill with water. Ricario is then caught up in a shimmering screen as Slash joins them, with Hipho not far behind, still annoyed about the insults and all. Fracktail screeches at...erm...Slash! Yeah, that's the one. Whereas Hipho creates some rocks that float ominously near Slash and Hipho. Just then, the other shimmery thing is gone, but that one protecting from status, not from special attacks.

After stuff has happened, Slash causes a pretty wind to strike all combatants, now that everyone's inside the cave. It's a bit stronger than usual, but that just adds to the charm. Then, Ricario goes in and strikes Fracktail nice and low. He roars in pain and, infuriated, creates a large shockwave, which hits everyone. Well, apart from Slash. He's just thankful he's not evolved just yet. But Slash can't avoid the falling rocks, courtesy of Hipho. Ricario gets struck too. But doesn't feel it as much.

The next turn...exactly the same happens, which makes my job nice and easy. Both Slash and Fracktail get capped, though. The Earthquakes are also increasing the water flow, so there's a nice large puddle between the two teams.

ricario I want you to get to slash and use rest then sleep talk on the hippo untill you wake, when you wake then you need to low kick fracktail, slash get to ricario and use protect (wake him up if you can) then use attract on the hippo and tell it to attack fracktail and use morning sun (in case of a taunt use struggle bug then push everything else back for slash and an earthquake and push back for ricario)

Ain't nobody napping on Ossy's watch!

Fracktail, use Bind on Ricario to keep him away from Slash's Protect. Combo that with Roar in the Riolu's ears to prevent nappy time from happening and a Slam.

Hiphopopotamus, Body Slam Ricario once he's been Slammed. Hopefully that will bring him down. Use Roar to prevent Slash's Attract from taking hold and finish by Rock Sliding Slash.

Fracktail: Bind + Roar + Slam (Ricario)
Hiphopopotamus: Body Slam (Ricario) ~ Roar (Slash) ~ Rock Slide (Slash)

Ricario smiles, closes his eyes and falls asleep and glows. Fracktail isn't done yet and does a large, ear-splitting roar. But the protective shield muffles the sound, so Ricario stays asleep. In a last attempt, Fracktail slams into the shield, no luck. Hipho does the same thing, but does more of a belly flop.
    Well that didn't work.

The shield does down and Slash goes over to Hipho, attempting to put the moves on her. Meanwhile, Ricario still glows and also mumbles to himself. He then dashes, qucikly and strikes Fracktail lightly. Fracktail looks down wondering what the hell, but Ricario is still asleep. Hipho, annoyed with Slash, roars at him loudly, which freaks him out and stops his advances. Good thing too, otherwise that would have been kinda creepy. Almost on cue, the screens vanish.

On the last action, Slash takes a deep breath and draws in the power of the sun.
    What sun?
Turns out, it doesn't work that well in a cave, so Slash doesn't get much back. Ricario stops glowing and opens his eyes, feeling much better, if a bit tired. He then goes over to Fracktail and lands a hearty kick at him. Fracktail roars in pain and Ricario...keels over, fainted from exhaustion. Hipho takes her chance and causes a rock-slide on Slash, who is also knocked out. It's a double down, folks!

    Round 5

    Arena
A heavily forested mountain, pretty small, but it has a lot of stuff - large forest, dark cave and a pool of water at the top...just because.

*Fracktail's Attacks* Stone Edge ~ Relax ~ Flail *Fracktail's Attacks*
    *Hipho's Attacks* Superpower ~ Relax ~ Crunch *Hipho's Attacks*

Ash sends out his last two Pokemon: Ralts and Smeargle. All Pokemon are still inside the dark cave and the puddle continues to grow. Ralts acts quick, creating a protective shield around him and Leo, who's female, funnily enough. Leo creates a sub, giving it an icy twist with a strange rune on it, for reasons yet unknown. She looks at both Fracktail and Hipho as they attempt to break through the shield. In all honesty, they're just tiring themselves out.

Both Fracktail and Hipho are getting pretty tired, so they need to chillax. That doesn't stop Leo from firing a beam of ice at Fracktail, who doesn't enjoy the pain it gives. Psyshock fixes his eyes on Hipho and attempts to put her to sleep. Hipho doesn't seem interested, though and Psyshock gets annoyed.

    [Sp. Def +2] - [N/A]

On this last action, Fracktail is pretty weak, but both Leo and Psyshock's attacks are focused on Hipho. Leo fires a beam of ice, which hurts it seems, then Psyshock fires a wave of psychic energy, which pushes Hipho back. Fracktail, avenging his teammate, knows the desperate situation he's in and thrashes around wildly, striking Leo in various places. Ooh, that's a nasty amount of damage. And then the Sub breaks. Fracktail's face says it all. Hipho, unhindered by her teammate, leaps at Psyshock, biting down on him and also causing a fair amount of damage.

alright leo sketch up a sub but make it look like the green thing in my profile pic psy use psychic to keep them from resting (sub protect if they try a taunt or something similar) then I want sketch to throw it at them and have it explode as soon as any protect they throw up disappears while psy teleports you to safety, then if they're not knocked out by the explosion or the deluge of water that should come I want psy to hit them with a magical leaf while leo draws up a hybrid leppa/sitrus berry tree to help recover if they're down then just have the tp out end up in the middle of a berry forest where you guys can eat up

Er... I'm pretty sure Sketch can only be used to draw objects that will perform attacks, not objects that will yield berries, since DL has already said that you can't use those.

Hiphopopotamus, Dig down. Relax beneath the earth and finish by Digging up at Leo.

Fracktail, once Hiphopopotamus has Dug beneath the earth, use Relax + Relax + Explosion.

Eh, that's...iffy. Why don't you just have Leo sketch Softboiled? Though it shouldn't matter too much; anything drawn by Sketch fades by the end of the round and I'll make it so you have to spend an action picking the fruit off the trees, so Psyshock won't be able to use Magical Leaf if he wants to heal up.

    So it should be fine.

also they should both faint anyways as psy will hold the hippo above ground (not to mention the entire cave is stone) and even if it manages to get underground the tunnel will flood and if that isn't enough onyx will explode dealing damage to the hippo and killing itself so it probably is better that psy doesn't try and go back to try a magical leaf this way it won't get hit by the explosion

Ssssssss...that's a nice battle you have there.
    Uh oh.
Fracktail sees this abomination, but pays it no heed and instead relaxes. Hipho follows his lead and digs down into the ground. But Psyshock doesn't think so, using one of the stranger abilities of Psychic and pulling Hipho out of the hole. Hipho doesn't like this and struggles in the air, legs flailing. What Psyshock didn't count on was that Hipho is really heavy and that she is really struggling. Psyshock tries to keep hold of her, but he's only a basic stage and is just too much for him. Hipho is released and she disappears underground.

Fracktail continues to rest, unfazed by what's going on around him. Leo knows the creeper is on a timer and sketches a quick portal for it to vanish into, appearing near Fracktail. Psyshock grabs hold of Leo and whisks him to safety further back into the cave. The creeper explodes, causing square shaped blocks to fly everywhere and causing Fracktail some damage. He groans in pain, but stays relatively alive. Underground, Hipho just relaxes. She's not in a hurry.

Fracktail is still standing, much to Leo's dismay and decides to create a tree, bearing egg shaped fruit. Leo picks off two, eats one, then hands the other to Psyshock, who also chows down. They're gonna need it as Fracktail comes in between them and...tick...tick...tick...BOOM! Fracktail explodes and sends Leo and Psyshock flying. The roof of the cave also breaks and a nice amount of water comes crashing down. Hipho, in her hole, wonders what the hell is going on and realises when a load of water comes barrelling towards her. She makes a quick excavation and rises to the surface, which is also water. Not liking this, she reaches some area that hasn't been submerged and is followed by Leo and Psyshock. The water slows to a stop and the end result is most of the cave has become water, save for a few patches. The lake at the top is...well...a large hole.

    1) The way I see Sketch is that you base whatever you're sketching on a move, so you have to be slightly specific in what you want.

    2) So...what next?

    3) Oslo to send out, then issue attacks.

I choose Flonkey, my female Pansear with Blaze.

Flonkey, begin with a Low Kick on Leo. Then trap the painter in a Fire Spin and hit him with a Fire Blast.

Hiphopopotamus, use Relax followed by as many Superpowers as you can at Leo. You've done quite well.

hmmm the teleport was supposed to go out of the cave...
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Creeper its specific or what did you mean? also the first explosion didn't release the water????

alright psy you use rain dance to keep away burns then hit the hippo with a disable and finish with a magical leaf to the hippo leo jump on the low kick and draw a spiral around him to trap him in a whirlpool then jump on the hippo and let it take the fire spin (this should also keep it from using superpower) finally draw another creeper in pansear’s whirlpool with 15Hp to get it to redirect the fire blast and hide behind psy and let its ability shield you both from the splosion.

    Then you should have specified.

I meant that you should specify the move to Sketch and since the creeper was an explosion of a relatively small size, I put it as Egg Bomb level. If you had wanted it bigger, you should have created a Charged Creeper.
And the blast radius of the creeper is three squares. The ceiling is a bit higher than that.

We begin this round with the four Pokemon on a relatively small piece of land, surrounded by water. Despite this, they all standby for battle. Leo starts by waiting for Flonkey to start. She grins and lashes out with her foot, Leo jumps onto her foot and with her tail, draws a Whirlpool and quickly jumps off before the Whirlpool does any damage. Psyshock decides there's not enough water in this cave and creates a large blue film that covers the ceiling, creating more rain and finally keeps away the sand. Which the opposing team does not enjoy. Hipho just relaxes, but keeping an eye on the water level.

Leo lands on the ground and is quickly ensnared by a Fire Spin. Flonkey makes one word: revenge. Psyshock waits Hipho to make a move and watches as she glows dark red and slams hard into Leo, who is thrown through the air and lands in the water. Psyshock flashes grey for a second, followed by Hipho. Hipho feels a strange restriction on her.

Leo starts quickly again, drawing that abomination from the last round.
    That's a nice battle you have there...ssssss.
Yeah, yeah, heard it all before. Leo sends the creeper towards Flonkey, who can't move anywhere. She has no choice but attack the thing with great flames. It keels over and dies, dropping some gunpowder. Flonkey breathes a sigh of belief. Psyshock, meanwhile, creates and commands them to attack Hipho. Hipho is forced back slightly and wants to attack Leo, but with what? In desperation, she just tackles him, injuring them both and Hipho is finally taken down.

alright time to make it or break it leo sketch up a pain-split ball and another creeper, but give this one an electrical charge to up its power give the creeper 25 health and have ralts teleport it over to their bit of land and throw up a protective sheild around it and the other pokemon so it won't damage leo (also effectively bypassing any definsive measures they set up) and have psy throw the pain-split ball at piplup before the creeper explodes
leo sketch-relax/receive pain split-relax/receive pain split
psy teleport creeper\throw pain split ball-protect\throw pain split ball-relax
the\means it doesn't take enough concentration to count as a whole action

I'm having difficulty sussing out your commands, Ash.

You should be Sketching for two actions, right, because they're two different objects? But you only say it takes one action in your shorthand commands at the end of your post.

So, like, a Substitute? Won't it break when it explodes, causing all that health to vanish?

How would that bypass any defensive measures I set up? How would that, say, stop me from effectively using Protect?

This is the only time you tell Psy to throw the Pain Split ball. However, in your shorthand commands, you say Psy should be throwing it during actions two and three.

Excuse me while I rock back and forth in neurotic confusion.

I myself am having some difficulty. Here is how I will lay them out.

Sketch (Self-Destruct) ~ Sketch (Pain Split) ~ Sketch (Pain Split)

And Psyshock will just be using Teleport, apparently, to move everything over to your side.
For me, you can select one move to be Sketched, per action.
