While this forum is dedicated to anime and manga, I thought I'd share a video some friends of mine made over at Thatguywiththeglasses.com. TGWTG is a site where people come together to review movies, video games, comics/manga, music and anime. Today, two comic and Anime reviewers and one video game reviewer teamed up to review...

They are going to review each Pokemon movie and that is a trick in and of itself considering how many movies there are. Each reviewer brings something unique as they all have a love of Pokemon. JewWario reviews import games, Linkara reviews comics and Suede reviews anime.

Seen it and it is hilarious. I am looking forward to the next review, as the second one is one of my favorites.
But depending on how often the reviews come out, depends on how many movies they'll have to review. If they're quick, it may only fifteen, discounting the various specials (including Mewtwo Strikes Back, which was mentioned), if they take too long, it could be 17+.

Sorry for the delay in reply. I have gone to the Lordkat stream. Jason and I are sort of friends. I have not gone much lately as I havent had time. I do go to Nash's stream every Monday and Jewwario's stream, too. Oh and I go to Film Brain's stream a lot as well.

lol, I only realized a few of the plot holes in the first movie, but this review of it makes all of them blatantly obvious. Also, the commentary is hilarious!

Now I really wanna learn Japanese so I can go back and see what else was different in the movies. :3

Finally! Been waiting for this one forever!

Also, there's this one thing about that movie I had an issue with that I thought was really important, but they apparently didn't mention it.
In Pokemon the Movie: 2000, that one prophecy within it said "and thus the world will turn to ash."

WHY does everyone in that movie seem to believe that "ash" refers to a PERSON!? It says "Turn To Ash." That could mean multiple things. I believed that the prophecy meant that "the world will turn [IN]TO ash." You know, the product of burning that would most likely occur if THE WORLD ENDED! WHY are they instantly certain that the prophecy means "The world will turn TO[WARDS] ash [for help]"?

They did bring up the point about the fact that that SPECIFIC ash probably isn't the chosen one, but for all we know, ash might not actually be the chosen one's name!

For the 2000 movie, I can understand that the "turn to Ash" thing supposed to be a Prophecy Twist of sorts, but it's a very weak twist unless you're a kid watching it or are watching it for the first time. Either way, prophecies are kinda weird like that.

It could have easily meant the Sacred Ash that Ho-oh has. It is the only Legendary Pokemon that has yet to have a proper role in the anime and movies.
