Target that Goniact with a -Confuse Ray-, then relax for a bit with -Calm Mind- Whilst that Goniact is stumbling around, Throw a -Shadow Ball- at Merlott.
Confuse Ray -X- Calm Mind -X- Shadow Ball
Scorpio
Lets get you ready to do some damage, -Swords Dance- should do the trick. Then, how about you go in for an -X Scissor- on that Goniact, then, switch targets to that Merlott and fire a -Toxic-

Well it prevents berries from work- oh I see.
Apparently, for the first two rounds, the opponent has a chance to flinch. That's about it. All other abilities should work fine.

Hey Cross, I said I was going to go first, but it doesn`t matter anyway.
Goniact, quickly Dig and attack Scorpio. Finish with Toxic on Amber.
Merlott, Swords Dance, then Screech at Amber to disrupt her mind calming and Protect.
Lol, I thought ghost was weak to bug.

The Forest of Aromas: A peculiar forest filled with strange flowers that give off strange scents. A Pokemon smelling these scents can become rejuvenated at the end of each round and may even smell the bigger flower. Be careful what moves you use, though...

We begin this match with the two challengers meeting in a nice smelling forest. Era sends out his Axew and Karrablast, whereas Cross sends out a Duskull and Skorupi. Now the match will begin.
[Goniact: Unnerve]
We now begin with Scorpio making the first move, doing a ritual dance that increases his attack. Merlott does the same, as it's an alright move to use. Next up is Goniact, who disappears into a cloud of dust, leaving behind a large hole. Amber is last and fires a spooky light ball at Goniact, or at least, where he was five seconds ago.

Now Scorpio attacks Goniact with X-Scissor... or would have done had Goniact still not been underground. Therefore, he can't do anything. Goniact then bursts out of the ground under Scorpio, making him cry out in surprise. Thankfully, doesn't take too much damage. Amber decides to concentrate her mind to boost up her stats and that is when Merlott strikes by screeching in her face. It does nothing, along with the goggles.

On this last action we have, Merlott brings up a snazzy barrier for whatever comes up next. And just in time, for Scorpio fires a nasty glob of poison that fizzles against the barrier. Not to be outdone, Goniact spits up his own glob of poison and hits Amber, who isn't best pleased. She fires a nasty ball of energy, which bounces off of Merlott's shield. How unfortunate.

The aroma from the flowers drifts through the arena. Amber and Scorpio smell something a lot more potent and Amber feels rejuvenated, no longer feeling the poison. Well that was convenient...

I'm pretty sure Normal status moves cannot affect Ghost types. Don't hold me to that, though.
The affects of the aroma are done for each Pokemon. It just happened to occur for both Amber and Scorpio, so it is not team exclusive.
