Over 4 Million Pokemon X and Y Games Were Sold Opening Weekend Pokemon Sells More Than 4 Million Units Opening Weekend


On Saturday, Oct. 12, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y for Nintendo 3DS became the first set of games in franchise history to launch simultaneously worldwide. Nintendo reported today that the games combined to sell more than 4 million units across Japan, Europe* and The Americas on Saturday, Oct. 12, and Sunday, Oct. 13.

“The early response to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y not only reaffirms the ongoing passion of Pokémon fans, but also indicates that an entirely new generation of gamers is eager to experience the franchise for itself,” said Nintendo President Satoru Iwata.

Coro Coro Magazine Reveals More Pokemon X and Y Mega Evolutions More Mega Evolutions


The November issue of Coro Coro magazine has been leaked and scans have been showing up on the web. In this issue we get to see 4 Mega Evolutions and official artwork of the Final Starter Evolutions. Not only that, Coro Coro will be giving away a special Garchomp serial code (it holds a Dragon Fang and knows Crunch, Dragon Claw, Dig and Draco Meteor) in their December issue along with revealing how to obtain the Mega Stone needed to Mega Evolve Garchomp.

Retailers Quick To Release Pokemon X and Y Retailers Quick To Release Pokemon X and Y


You might have already heard, but Pokemon X and Pokemon Y have been released early to some lucky individuals throughout the world. Because of that, there have been a ton of spoilers and leaks that have been released on various websites and forums.

One of the new features in Pokemon X and Y will be the ability to enter serial codes to receive Mystery Gifts. Tesco, a British retailer that has been sending out copies of Pokemon X and Y early, will include Mystery Gift codes with their games that will give you 12 Quick Balls to start the game off with. Quick Balls are most effective during the first turn of a battle by increasing your capture rate.
