Pokemon Australian National Championships Held at PAX Australia in Melbourne

Nintendo Australia will host the Pokémon Video Game Australian National Championships at PAX Australia in Melbourne this year.

This year, Pokémon fans from around Australia and New Zealand will have the chance to compete in the Pokémon Video Game Australian National Championships, to be held at the sold-out PAX Australia in Melbourne on the 20th and 21st July, 2013.

Nintendo has announced that Pokemon X and Y will hit 3DS, worldwide, on October 12, 2013.

The games include a new Fairy Pokemon type that is super effective against Dragon types. Older Pokemon like Jigglypuff, Gardevoir and Marill will be given the new Fairy type status. Eevee’s new evolution, Sylveon, will be a Fairy type. A new Pokemon called Noivem was also revealed. Continue reading →
