Hypotenuse Man
As you mutter to yourself about the nonexistence of electricity on a shipwreck, you send out Hoborg and call for a Mach Punch on the door you saw earlier.

The Gengar immediately starts running – floating? – toward you. “Sir! Sir, wait!” it screams.

Too late. The door is already completely off its hinges as the attack blasted it into the back of the room. You now see that it appears to be filled with a variety of useless, dusty items, and there’s a small hole in the wall on the left side.

“Oh, that’s just brilliant,” the Gengar angrily grumbles. “Sir, I know the elevators are out, and we’ve called a repair crew to fix them. But that’s no reason to continue damaging the ship in such a manner! I say…”

As the Gengar continues the lecture, your distracted eyes are drawn to the hole in that room. It’s about a half-meter wide… perhaps you could squeeze through it if you recalled your Pokemon. You might also try the stairs back down, or you could just stand here and listen to the ranting Gengar.

What are you going to do?

Misu raises its head in the center of the room, facing the back of the Absol about twelve feet away. “Mud Shot, now!” you call.

Absol’s ears perk up, and even though it can’t see Misu, it immediately leaps into the air to dodge the move. But it can’t completely get out of the way, as a ball of liquid muck bashes its legs and sends it sprawling. It struggles to stand…

But as your attention is focused on Absol, a wave of rippling blue energy materializes above its head. The mystical power rushes forward, hitting Misu head-on and slamming the poor Marshtomp into the wall behind you once again.

Both Pokemon struggle to stand and breathe… this battle’s winding down.

What are you going to do?
