Name: Hiroshi Nagasaki

Physical Desc.: An averagly tanned muscular body figure. His body bears the scars from his regular beatings of his stepfather who had passed away a few years ago. He has also a funny unique foreign vocal that would probably pissed off the person speaking to him.

Personality: He blamed all of these tortures on him mom, who was powerless to do anything to stop and since then he had left home and vow never to return. Due to this vow, he had been very self-sufficient and had been seen doing part-time jobs whenever he could.

An independent and hardworking boy, he works his way to the top of high school before a company snapped him up for a scholarship. Because of his tortured past, he has a view that using pokemons to battle are cruel. Battles do not seek to bond the trainers with their pokemons but rather tortured them and push them to their limits.

Hence as a result, he despise anyone that comes from the battling degree.

Bf/Gf: Any takers?

History: Though attending the breeding course, he had some form of battling experience before. His first pokemons were a pair of Dratini twins that he once save from being captured by his neighbour who live across the street. His neighbour is infamous for mistreating pokemons. And as a result of his interferances, he got beaten up real hard.

His battling experiences that he gained are from battling serious trainers and wild pokemons. But unlike the ones who seek to win, Hiroshi is one who will throw in the towels and concede the match before his pokemons get boot.

Pokemon: Dragonairs (Tsubasa and Sora), Pikachu (Denise)

Chapter 1: The four years promise

“Next stop Indigo Plateau, Indigo Plateau!”

Before walking up and get seated on the shuttle bus, I took a step and turn my head to browse through my surroundings. This could well be the last time I am going to look at this surrounding for the next 4 years of my life. I am going for the scholarship on the bond signed with my last company and they send me over to the prestigious Lapras Valley University.

“Well better than nothing.”

I grinned as I boarded the shuttle bus.

“At least, that old fool is not around to bother me again.”

------------- Act 1: 2 hours and 30 minutes later -------------

The bus is still in the mist of its journey as I took a glimpse outside the window.

I see nothing but rows of coniferous trees, the flying pidgeys soaring in the skies.

I am well sited in the corner as the bus is headed to the town, which Lapras Valley University resides in.

Though a bit uncomfortable with the seat making creaking noises whenever I moved. It is a small price to bear for the journey of a lifetime to begin.

The atmosphere was getting stuffier and the next moment, I lost conscious even before I knew it.

------------- Act 2: 1 hour and 45 minutes later -------------

“Hey kid, we are at the end of our line.”

The bus conductor instantly shook me awake. I dizzily turn my head around and realized that we are in a strange town area. It is a little backwards compared to Viridian City but there are some serious construction works going on from the looks of it.

“Oji-san, where are we right now?”

“Didn’t I tell ya? We are in the last stop. There aren’t any more stops further! Where is your destination, you want me to show you the direction?”

The Oji-san looks to be concern.

“Erh… Okay then. Oji-san, any idea which direction should I head out to be on my way to Lapras Valley Uni?”

“Okay you take a left turn on the street to your right and walk some distance. Around 2 miles from that left turn, the university should be within sights.”

“Hey thanks a lot, Oji sama.”

Giving him my best gratitude before I took flight and continue on his said direction.

------------- Act 3: Around the school parameters -------------

“There itself Lapras Valley University!”

I was at least 500 meters away from the venue.

“Better hurry, I guess.”

I moved to speed up and then something caught my attention.

“No I can’t give you Denise. She is all that I got.”

That last cry seems to from the back alley.

Silently, I crept into that area and took a peak.

“Give us that Pikachu or else you know what we are capable of. We are from the Lapras Valley University. You better not fool around with us. Our classmates are now chasing after your friend and his pokemons should be with us now. Why not, you co-operate with us, heh?”

This is it, threatening others into giving their pokemons.

“This is as far as it goes.”

Without thinking much, I confronted that bunch of bullies.

“It isn’t worth stealing other people’s belongings. Besides is this how Lapras Valley University does things?”

Those gangsters took notice and slug towards my direction.

“What do you think you can do, pal?”

He aims a punch, which totally took me by surprise, and had the fist pummeling me on the tummy.

“Go Charmelon, let show off your bad- ass flamethrower!”

He releases his primary pokemon, which in turn unleashes it fury flames when I was in pain, crouching on the moist dirty ground.

“That would teach you to be some busybody.”

He turns his attention back to the girl.

“Now kid… I have no time to waste on you. I want your Pikachu now.”

Little did he realized, a rather emotional me was struggling to stand up.

“Don’t make me repeat my word. I say left her alone.”

“Why you?”

The bully took another punch aiming but a flash of light beam and disrupted his momentary actions.

“Heh, what happened?”

“Randy, look out your right arm!”

He was in a shock as the Dragonair wrap itself several times across his right arm.

“Sora, twist it.”

As I looked at Randy and his gang with an evil look as some dark aura seems to envelope me.

The Dragonair understood my command and twist Chris’ arm, breaking several of his bones in the process.

“Argh my arms!”

Yelling, he yanks out his bloodied right arm as it now wobbles despite his attempts to move his fingers.

“Well you, Charmelon go!”

The Charmelon lunges at me but soon realized that there was another Dragonair behind it.

“Tsubasa, Hyper Beam.”

Without a moment, his Charmelon was send packing into the piles of debris from a nearby construction site.

Severely injured, Randy looked upon me and murmured under his breath as he recalls his pokemon.

“You will regret messing with us, Lapras Valley University.”

“Let me tell you something, I’m from Lapras Valley University too starting today.”

Randy and his gang mates looked in shock but nonetheless, they retreated into the darkness of the alley.

Picking up the pokeball from the ground, I return it to the little girl.

“Keep it well, young lady. I’m moving off now.”

I turned and moved off a few feet from where I left the girl. There was this sudden tug onto my coat. It was that same little girl.

“Hey Oni-chan, is it possible for you to have Denise?”

I was in a state of shock. Why would a young lady be offering me her pokemon? She explains further,

“With my level of experience, the odds of these guys coming after me are still possible. I can’t protect Denise like these if this situation would to arise again. She is better off with someone who can protect her.”

Understandably, I took the pokeball from her and reminded her.

“Denise is your friend, there is nothing I can do to erase that bond between you and her. For the moment, I will take good care of her. However after four years, promise me you will get stronger and until then take her back from me.”

She looked at me as tears soon overwhelmed her.

“I will, I promise. After four years, I would take her back from you. Just take good care of her for now.”

She and Denise hugged each other for the last time before they separate their ways as I moved off with a third pokemon under my belt, a pikachu.

------------- Act 4: Outside the school -------------

“Finally the moment of my lifetime!”

I was too engrossed to notice that the students moving were laughing at my dirty coat.

“Damn I haven’t been in a battle for a long time.”

I dusted off some of the dirt that piled on me during that back alley incident.

“Lapras Valley University, here I come as I took my first step into the campus premises.”

The school bell rang, signaling the start of the university.

~.~Lapras Valley University Starts!~.~

Five years have pass in a winking of an eye since the last RPG in Lapras Valley University happened. The surrounding area in which Lapras Valley University is located in had improved greatly in terms of accessibility and shopping and commercial districts starts popping out like no tomorrow due to the successful economic reforms.

Students other than those around the Kanto, Johto, Shihou and Houen area had heard of this prestigious tertiary institution from far and came over to study here. Hence the education competitiveness had been raised and many great education reforms occurred over this period. To earn a bachelor for training battling pokemon in the past used to be an easy feat but not anymore as the modules get more difficult. On top of that, two more additional degrees were added into the curriculum, they are the breeding courses and the pokemon contest courses.

You are an ordinary student who had been accepted into the institution and belonged to one of the three faculties. However the three faculties had always been at odds with each other and each student from each of these faculty treats the rest as rivals. A mere confrontation with a student of a different major will result in an arguments and most times, it would be settled through confrontation of pokemon battles. The best primitive method to resolve any enmity.

You have ambition to either become a top pokemon trainer, a top class breeder or the top pokemon contest entertainer. By any means, you will go through your student life there and made new friends and enemies along the way. To make your mark there, you may even battle your way to the top, against friends and enemies alike. Will you make it?

Battler's Forest: This is a large lush green forest that is only open to the students from the campus. Your very first orientation camp is held here. Only pokemons from the Kanto region can be found here. Pokemon captures are allowed in the forest but the trainers would be needed to register with the counter located at the enterance of the forest (marked with an arrow)

Battler's arena: If you are itching for a battle, you are welcome to participate in one here. Just register your battle with a professor and he will officially be the umpire and ensure that there is no foul play.

School building A to F: These are where your lectures and tutorials are going to be held in. The canteen would be at building C whereas the bookshop abd library would be allocated in building F. Pokemon Centre is located at Building A, just to note.

Dorms (Anka, Midori & Kuro): Nothing much, just note your geographical positions in the map.

Additional rules – adapted from the original Lapras Valley University by Drusilla

1) Up to 6 Pokemon per student
2) All students are normal people. This means NO psychic powers, morphing abilities, coming back from the dead, or anything else you crazy people come up with.
3) NO FREAKIN' LADY BLASTOISE! She was OK at first, but she REALLY got on my nerves after awhile, and I'm not the only one. And no one likes her.
4) The only reason any legendaries should be in here is if we go on a "field trip" and see one. No student may have a legendary.
5) Please keep Team Rocket in limited amounts. I will be the judge of what is too much on this one...
6) If you have a problem with how one person is posting (ex- Putting Caps On Every Word Like This) please post a courteous request for them to stop.

Additional Rules in place

1) Classes starts from 8 am in the morning and ends at 6 pm in the evenings.
2) Students are given time out on weekends but curfews starts at 10 pm onwards for weekends and 8 pm for weekdays.
3) Students are only allowed a maximum of 6 pokemons. Apologises if this was not inform earlier but it is to allow me to keep track on your pokemons. You may wish to update on your sign up later after this.
4) LSUs are welcomed but they will have post their signs up in the sign up topic instead of the main RPG topic and wait for approval before they can start posting.
5) Dorm room- sharing with a person from the opposite sex is allowed but it depends on how you RPG it to be. Each dorm room will their own toilet.

------------- Act 5: Meanwhile… -------------

“Randy, what happen? Why does your right arm wobble?”

“Guys, bring him to the nearest clinic. Do you want him to die here?”

The men hurriedly moved swiftly to escort their injured comrade to the clinic.

“What happen? And there better be a good explanation on this!”

Chris Coleman demands from his men, which was at the scene.

“Well you see, boss. We met up with a freshman and he did that to Randy. We all freaked out as it happens so fast and we fled.”

“And you left the scene without getting any pokemons? You pile of garbage?”

His men beg for his forgiveness but Chris’ mind drifted off elsewhere.

“This is too much of a co-incidence. I send out the other batch of men to go after another target and they report the same situation. This time round it was a weird looking tanned boy.

This comparing to the dwarf, who identified himself as Vincent Lancaster, saved the other kid, which I send my men out earlier to retrieve his pokemons. Looks like this year’s freshmen are not to be under- estimated.”

He was deep in thought until the PA system interrupted it.

“All freshmen are to report to the gate of Battler’s Forest by 1 pm. You are to unpack your stuffs at your relevant dorm before meeting up with your various professors.

Midori dorm, please report to Professor Simon Cowell. Kuro dorm, please report to Dr Paula. Anka dorm, please report to Associate Professor Wilson Tong.

Thank you.”

2) Yup, I introduced in a villain. Chris Coleman and his gang. Chris Coleman is a second year student who resides in Anka Dorm. Nobody knows that he is the notorious leader who steal pokemons from the weaker students. He pull strings from the shadow and it is always Randy, who is his forerunner and resides in Kuro Dorm, that runs all the dirty work.

3) Perfect Chaos and Roy Karrde's characters now shares a room. A reminder is that I have no problem on who you want your character to share the room with. If there is not any problem by default, the guys in a room and the ladies in the other.
