Doesn't "Every post must be related to the previous post." mean you have to stay on topic?
Wouldn't switching back to the original topic go against the rule since we would be ditching the current topic?

Can't you interpret that in another way, too? What if we had a similar conversation in, for example, And the all-time bestselling video game franchise is...? Does this formula explain what I mean?
What if the first poster says: "What do you think about Mario and Pokémon beating Sims?"
What if the second poster says then: "Did you know I hate Sims?"
What if the third: "Have you played Sims through?"
What if the second: "No, but did you know I have played Abes Oddysee?"
What if the first: "How many mudokons did you save?"
What if the third: "What other words begin with the letter m?"
What if the first: "What do you think of Mikachu Yukitatsu?"
Did I get too excited?
