Hi, Griff! Firstly, welcome to the forums! Hope you enjoy your stay here - especially here in Fanfic.

To answer your question, that category was created to cover all 'created' pokemon - or "fakemon", like you said. Personalities would come under the other character awards like 'Best Character in a Leading Role', etc.
