Hopefully my first 3 picks this year of Adrian Peterson, Braylon Edwards, and Ryan Grant won't be as disastrous as my first 3 picks of last year, Larry Johnson, Reggie Bush, Cedric Benson >.<. All in all, I think I got some solid picks in, other than the whole Cutler/Gostowski mixup, which is really frustrating. But eh, fantasy football's a whole different game than fantasy basketball, draft picks are entirely unpredictable. Last year I drafted Brady in round 4 and Romo in round 9, and they ended up being the best QBs last season. Bottom line is that in football, judging your draft picks before the season has even starts is ineffective.

I've got an elite back, three top WRs, and the top TE in the league. I'm more unstoppable than Eli Manning.

So, like, one problem. The WRs I autodrafted, while awesome, ALL SHARE THE SAME BYE WEEK! This is a big problem for WR since it's much tougher to fill in three from the bench than two RBs or one of other positions. :/ Worse still is it's the Week 4 bye, the earliest one. I'm interested in most any 1-for-1 offer with similar elite WRs, if I can help you fix any "same bye week" issues as well. (After all, no reason to scratch my back if I can't scratch yours...) Also interested in downgrading at WR if you can offer me an upgrade at QB or can fix my starting RBs ALSO sharing the same bye. (Real dandy work there autodraft, Jesus Christ. ~_~ It's less of an issue with RBs, though.)

See my post on the League message board on Yahoo! for more details. (Actually, it's the same details worded differently.) I already sent out potential offers to about half the league and there's only a couple of people I have no real interest in trading with. I'm willing to trade basically anyone, but I'll need to talk serious with you for anything involving Westbrook or Wayne. I'm not as willing to give them up...

Pfft, that doesn't stop hundreds of 'experts' from doing it every year, and hating on my Titans picking Chris Johnson... I practically guaran-damn-tee that I've got one of the most stable set of picks this year; no foreseeable drop-off, and practically a defiance to avoid the injury bug. ...I'm feeling just that arrogant this year.

By the end of this season, the above post should be the most oft-quoted in the history of the TPM Fantasy Football League.

    XD for sure.

But seriously DragoKnight, that is quite bullshit. In fantasy basketball, it's really rare to see a guy you pick in the first 3 rounds flop for the entire season. Early season ending injuries are relatively rare, and it's even more rare that the player just sucks (the only example that comes to mind is Andrei Kirilenko after that season where he started out averaging 5 blocks a game and then got injured, everybody was picking him early the next year and he just died). In football on the other hand, look at my top 3 picks last year. All were top ranked running backs, all ranked top 50 overall picks by every major source, and they all flopped catastrophically, and not even due to early season ending injury. Not that I'm complaining, my 4th round pick was Brady and that took me to the championship.

BTW, just so you know, I'm winning the championship this year, so don't even try
