Nope
But Obama came in with even bigger Political Capitol than Bush did. Bush blew all of his during the first few weeks of his re-election with a bit of a smug attitude. Now it seems Obama may have let Nancy Pelosi and a bad Treasury pick blow a lot of his if not all of it, guess we will find out how much is gone when it comes up in the Senate.

Ill. governor pleads his case to impeachment trial
Well, Blagojevich finally went into desperation mode and went before the Senate to lodge... a very weak excuse for a defense. Now the Senate is deliberating whether to impeach the governor. I'm watching it live on C-SPAN right now. More information as the story develops.
(Sorry for bringing back the politics, but this is an important issue. It's been something a few decades since a governor was impeached, if I remember correctly.)
Since I've been watching a lot of Creationist propoganda on You Tube lately, my "bull-shite-o-meter" has gotten a bit more accurate, and it was going off reading what the Illinois Gov was trying so pass off as "reasonable" because he never really said anything it seems.

The Illinois Senate is now voting. It looks like it'll be unanimous... yes, every one of the state senators has now voted to remove Blagojevich from office.
EDIT: He has now officially been removed. Rod Blagojevich is no longer the governor of Illinois. Now the Illinois Senate will vote to bar him from ever holding any other office in the Illinois government... and C-SPAN just went insane, which may mean that the cameras have been cut. How odd.
EDIT2: Another 59-0 vote. He's out of the Illinois government for good.
