It wasn't really anything special for me, as usual. I went to a tournament in Glasgow and one of the guys gave me chocolates and flowers, on Friday I got a card from my male friend and one through the post without a name on, but I'm pretty sure it's from a lesbian girl I know ;o

I don't care about Valentines day though, if someone loves you they should tell you every day, not just when society decrees it's a good idea

Hmm, yeah. One could, of course, take the jaded point of view and say that these days, people need to be reminded... kind of a sad thought, really. Alternatively, if we don't need a special day for it, then Valentine's Day truly is just to torment us singles. If you want to take it a step further to Darwinism, maybe this is our own way of trying to pressure everyone into finding a partner. For the greater good. And stuff.
