Tara, there are black people in Great Britain, you know. That's just like all the online surveys that ask about your ethnicity and which I give up on completing the moment I'm asked to choose between white and hispanic. They're not mutually exclusive!

Anyway, Shonta's not British, she's from the USA.

Tomorrow I'm going to Hillel to greet a group of students from Michigan who are coming to Buenos Aires to do voluntary community work (painting school walls, restoring libraries and such). I'm also going to meet other people from here who are in the same situation as I am, except that most of them know some of the others and I don't know anyone. I really hope I can engage in some conversations rather than spend all that time watching from the sideline (I've had the latter happen to me way too many times).
