Actually, Rudy, most people put The Minish Cap at the start of the series, prior to even Ocarina of Time by several generations.

This is true since someone who worked on that game said that it even predated OoT. However I left that out because first off it's a handheld Zelda. Granted I did throw in LA but that was mainly due to the fact that I was getting annoyed with seeing it misplaced on everyone elses timelines when it's been stated as being a direct sidestory/sequel to LttP. Plus there's the fact that every single handheld Zelda game I've seen (with the obviously exception being the console ports) tends to be a spinoff and never seems part of the main story which to me is the continuing battle between the bloodline of the ancient hero (the various Links) and Ganon. Plus while I can't remember the team member's name I know it wasn't Miyamoto and as far as I'm concerned if he didn't say it then it's to be taken with a grain of salt. Don't forget that it was widely accepted for years that LttP was a prequel to the original LoZ due to what the original box for the US version said. However fast forward to 1998 and we now have Miyamoto saying Lttp was NOT a sequel.

Bottom line is if he didn't say if then I feel it's just another theory. The difference here that makes it intresting is it's the theory of someone who worked on the game that wasn't Miyamoto.

Every time I see Link's Awakening after Oracle of Seasons/Ages I screamed the whole town to my house. In the linked ending of Seasons and Ages Link leaves with a raft, obviously stating that Link's Awakening happens after Seasons and Oracles.
