You're comparing whole moving stages to one single thing that moves in and out.

Does the whole of Big Blue move? No. Does the whole of Flat Zone move? I don't believe so. Does the whole of Rumble Falls move?

Well, OK, it does, but there's like 300 platforms on the screen at any given time.

Also, whose moronic idea was it to ban New Pork City? That stage is awesome to fight on. Unless you spend all your time running from the enemy, in which case you're a fucking hack and you shouldn't be playing the game in the first place if you can only win by exploiting the game's design.

Blade: What items would you ban? I'm curious.....

Not a single one, Darkly. If I let myself get beaten by a guy with a Hammer or a Baseball Bat, it's my own fault for not being to dodge a slow item/an iem that restricts his movement. Same thing with a Dragoon. If I'm not good enough to stop him from gathering THREE items AND taking aim at me, then he's probably a much better player than I am anyway.

A suggestion on the stage debate. As opposed to saying this or that should be banned why not a simple random computer pick on every single stage? There's stages I can't stand myself but I got to agree with Heald. A good player of any game learns to play on ANY map.
