Leafoon...now that sounds familiar. Also, a grass statue? This could be interesting. I'd love to see the sprite of them.

Blade, yes Odddish is Primary type is Grass not Poison, further more it's the first Grass type after the Bulbasaur line in the National dex further more the Bulbasaur, Weedle, Ekans, Nidoran and Zubat lines are all poison types that come before Oddish so I saw no reason to say poison, besides that Oddish is uslly given just the grass type in the TCG, it was not until D/P that Poision types in the TCG are shown as a difrent type namely Psychic but that's only do to the fact that the 17 types in the main game are represented by 9 energy types in the TCG.
so before you freaking jump to conclusions do some research, also I did not say Tanglela do to the fact that you can not get it until late in the game for the most part.

so yes next time do some more home work jerk, also I was using Odd ish as an an example do to it being common but you picked the most petrographic thing to nick pick at in my post ignoring the rest of my post.
your thinking of Drifloon however Leafoon's name come from Leaf do to the fact Tanuki are said to use them and Raccoon Dog,
no they are Tanuki that pretend to be statues also Like I said the Super leaves that become there hats are said to give them the ability to turn to stone referenced by the fact they learn harden and there shiny color is gray, and sorry their sprites will have to wait, but I'd say I hit the nail on the head with tying to getter aspects of the myth nicely and keeping them Kid friendly I mean ok the seeds may me a little big but those were just rough Idea for the size,
Also one one the ingredients for Tanuki Soup are green onions which are related to both chives and garlic hence the whole fur being edible and a tasty seasoning, and the mention of both, of curse I could say that it offered it self to be made into soup but I wanted to have them reflect more of their own myth and not so much on the myth Farfetch'd was based off of, but still I did put a hint they are used for food...
Oh and the reason it holds a mushroom is do in part because of Link's Awaking plus one the ingredients for Tanuki Soup is Shiitake mushrooms, also having it hold a mushroom like a bottle is a lot more Kid friendly then a bottle of Sake would also the leaf with writing on it makes more sense then an unpaid bill would although they are references to them.
