According to the ASB movelist as well as Veekun, Magic Coat will reflect Trap inducing moves and since Wrap is a trap move Magic coat will reflect it.

If CEB has any issues with this he's free to change his moves accordingly.
Umm... CEB shouldn't be allowed to change his moves either. The only circumstance where a battler should be allowed to change his/her moves is when the ref screws something up and it's pointed out after the battler has posted attacks.

According to veekun, Magic Coat's effect is as follows:

This move cannot be copied by Mirror Move.
Since wrap is a damaging move, it will not be reflected by magic coat, according to veekun. If a move trapped the opponent but did not deal any initial damage, it would be reflected.

    From the movelist:

    Fatigue: Moderate
    Accuracy: Excellent
From that, one could argue that Water Pulse should be reflected, since it induces confusion. Same for Zap Cannon (induces paralysis). No sane ref would do that, so this is a flawed definition. The same flaw applies to the definition of prankster, where "non-damaging" was originally omitted. So, if we assume that damaging moves are the problem, then we are back to where we were.

As a result, the substituted move never comes up, and the fact that cutsiepie posted an invalid move is irrelevant anyway.

In any case, sorry for interfering, but I got a call from CutsiePie telling me to come and look, so I've come and looked.
