‡ Round 5 ‡
As wind and hail surge around us, Meditite raises his arms skyward and causes another Rock Slide to rain down from the cliffs. Pidgey observes the pattern of the falling rocks and then, with a series of deft movements, manages to dart between and around them and avoid damage. Meditite loses track of the agile bird in the chaos of falling rocks and then watches as a brown blur shoots toward him. Pidgey collides with Meditite's face and knocks him to the ground. That bird has moves.
Pidgey: <-4 EP>
Meditite: <-9 HP; -7 EP>
Pidgey decides it's time to get airborne. He looks to the skies and prepares his ascent but his efforts are cut short before they can even begin. Another onslaught of rocks catches him by surprise and send him into a tailspin to the ground. Smash! The wounded Flyer chirps feebly, wriggles clear of the rocky wreckage... and then slumps back over in a daze. Birdie needs some R&R.
Pidgey: <-17 HP; Fln>
Meditite: <-7 EP>
Rather exhausted at this point, Meditite tries to form a mental connection with Pidgey. However, his mounting fatigue slows the attack and gives Pidgey enough time to shoot into the sky. Freedom! By the time Meditite manages to form the Pain Split, Pidgey is way out of range. Blagh.
Pidgey: <-4 EP>
Meditite: <-5 EP; -5 HP fatigue>
Pidgey <-3 HP> and Meditite <-3 HP> take more Hail damage.
