As the next round begins, YG scoops up a handful of mud and prepares to fling it at his foe. However, Aoigon, recognizing his opponent's attempt to do damage, darts in there with immense speed. He combines a sudden punch to the face with an aerial leap, landing an impressive amount of damage on YG. The mud slips from the Infernape's slackened fingers as he collapses. After a good fight, this simian is done like dinner.

The Gym leader is forced to send his final selection into battle. Tossing his fourth Pokeball, he summons a black and gold Garchomp into battle. The beast lets out a bellow, shaking the pagoda, but Aoigon doesn’t seem particularly intimidated. The Druddigon does a spin on the spot, creating three clones. Unimpressed, Ordermos merely lets out a cascade of spinning stars which manage to hone in on the correct Aoigon. With little ado, the clones pop out of existence in unison. Yeah, Double Team when you’re first to command… rarely a good call…

Aoigon: <-6 HP; -4 EP; 0 clones>
Ordermos: <-4 EP>

As his foe’s health dips beneath the 40% mark, Ordermos lets swing with his tail. Aoigon takes it right in the gut and is promptly flung into one of the nearby suits of armour. Rather than attacking directly, Aoigon slams his tail into the ground and causes the ground to quake violently. Ordermos is thrown from his feet and lands at the foot of another suit of armour. Hijinks!

Aoigon: <-11 HP; -4 EP>
Ordermos: <-8 HP; -4 EP; -1 Spd>

The two dragons suddenly pull themselves up and charge at one another, talons raised to do some serious damage. They swipe at one another and then stumble backward like mirror images, nursing their wounds. Though Ordermos seems to be in excellent shape, Aoigon’s flame seems nearly outed.

As the match presses on, Ordermos darts forth for the kill shot. He raises one of those menacing pointy arm-type things and prepares to tear Aoigon a new orifice; however, the Druddigon throws up an indigo barrier at the last second which completely stops the attack. Smirking, Druddigon sticks out his tongue and blows Ordermos a raspberry, which Torments the ambulatory shark effectively.

Aoigon: <-12 EP>
Ordermos: <-6 EP; Tor>

Ordermos tries for a second Dragon Claw, but can't quite seem to get the memory of Aoigon's rudeness out of his head. As such, he merely stands there and stews in anger. Recognizing his window of opportunity, Aoigon slams his foot into the ground and causes the pagoda to shake and shimmy about. Ordermos twists and stumbles in an attempt to stay upright but nonetheless crashes to the ground painfully.

Aoigon: <-8 EP>
Ordermos: <-12 HP; Can't move!>

Having expended all his available actions for the round, Aoigon has no choice but to look on as Ordermos approaches. Able to attack once again, Ordermos lashes out with a final Dragon Claw. His attack rakes across Aoigon's face and the Druddigon lets out a pained shout before tumbling down to the ground, defeated at last.

And that's the match.
