ARGH!!! *conniption fit is ensuing and much huffing and flailing* Ok, is anyone else in Eastern Canada(or hey maybe US) having power blackouts/surges? I just had TWO in the span of 5 minutes. The last was at 1:45pm the on JUST before that at 1:41pm. We had one at 6:20 am here. That had been confirmed as a surge.
They are very short, no more then 5 seconds. A transformer blew because of the surge/caused the surge this morning. I'm to thinking the transformer blew because of it. Something is going ka-blookie somewhere --'''''''''''''''. So anyone else? I'm at work and thankfully had just finished something so I didn't loose anything but I am getting ANNOYED! *not to mention it isn't good for the comps* ARGH!

Edit: Just to note the one this morning effected Toronto, to St. Catherines up to Parry Sound and that whole area of Ontario. Our clocks didn't even stop this morning(at my house) but now is f-ing everything up.

You'd need to be approved as a Contest Judge. Speaking of which I'm sure you used to be approved....I wonder what happened there. Anyway try the mock contest (on the first page of the Reffing Tower) and I'll see how you fare up.

I'm sure you were removed because you dissapeared for a while and you had not judged a contest so I was at odds at determining if you were good enough to stay as an approved judge.

Hmm, I wonder if me posting in here is ok... I've been umming and arring over this for a few days now...and I'm still not entirely sure about what to do. I've been considering quitting as a ref. Yes, I know, I'm a shit ref anyway, I've got a bit of work to do out of the internet, though I fear, not quite as much as I often make out...not to mention RPG. I feel a stupid and probably disproportionate amount of guilt for not doing my reffings and posting in RPGs instead, but I've gotta say...that place is my baby. Moreso now that I'm like, looking after it, lol. So yes. Long story short, it comes to the end of my ramblings and I fear that my decision has been made.

I'm following in the footsteps of Bladey and throwing in the reffing towel; no matter how much I enjoy doing it. I've got nothing but apologies for the four people whose battles I'm reffing, but I hope you'll understand.

But still, I plan to haunt here as frequently as I always do, ehehe. My team needs more building! ^_^

if so here is a few more just in... acording to Serebii the 2007 Toy Fair in New York started yesterday and goes on until Wednesday. There, Jakks Pacific revealed many new Pokémon Toys, many of which contained many new Pokémon Names. Apart from confirming the previous revelations of names made at Serebii.net over the last 2 months, Two of the ones we are absolutely sure about are for two of the three starter Pokémon. Naetoru is now known is Turtwig, derived from Turtle and Twig...a rather fitting name, and Hikozaru is now known as Chimchar, derived from Chimp and Charred...another fitting name. From the looks of another piece of merchandise, Pochama keeps its Japanese Name. Mukkuru's name appears to be Starly, based upon the fact it is a Starling. Koroboshi's US name is Kricketot, which plays on the fact it is a baby Cricket. Pachirisu and Floatzel keep their Japanese Names, although Floatsel changes slightly to match the changes utilised in Buizel Also, Mimiroru has been revealed to be Buneary, Nyaruma is Glameow, Pinpuku is Happini, Gregguru's name is Croalurk, based upon Croak and Lurking and Masukippa as Carnivine, based on Carnivore and Vine.

Also when is the safri Zone going to be put up because.....

now as for the next gymleader how about blademater, he a fairly decent battler thoght his team is rather on the small side he uses them in his battles well and if I know him as good as I think I do his arena well have somthing to do with one of the Mario games...

I do believe we're waiting for the release of the games, not the release of the names (whee, rhymes). We don't know the English names of the attacks yet, for one thing... I suppose it's possible, if we just all agree to use one set of name translations/move translations, as there are stats and such available for those refs that use them, but most ASBs aren't allowed 4th gens until April 22 or a little after.

Blade for Gym Leader... I think he'd like that.

As far as I know, we're not rolling out DP Pokemon until DP's English release. We did the same for RS.

We just don't know enough about D/P and generation 4 to launch them yet. We will say that their intergration will be around the release of D.P in the US, although that is not 100% confirmed it-will-be-on-that-day.

As for the Safari Zone we are finishing the plans and want to kick-start the Random Tournament before we unleash the Safari Zone.

In ASB over the coming weeks (when mod activity picks up; we're all very busy) we are going to hopefully be revamping the Attack List Beta since, as you are quite aware, a lot of the attacks are dangerously unlike their game counterparts and this can cause confusion. We will be doing this to coincide with the addition and introduction of the Diamond and Pearl attacks.

If there are any conflicting issues with attacks we may call upon ASBers to assist us in modifying the attacks.
