Deer Park Alpha 1 (Mozilla Firefox 1.1a) released

they renamed it deer park for the alphas so people don't get confused and whatnot, i guess. you can see what's new here. downloads can be found here. i only recommend using this if you want to help test it, play around with the new features, are a web developer, etc. just like any other release, just renamed.

also, just a warning. some/most extensions will not work with this release. check this topic to see which ones are updated to work with it.

I could probably find this easily enough if I looked, but is this just an update to firefox, or to the whole mozilla suite?

edit: this one also uses the greatly improved gecko engine that the 1.8 suite uses. the speed difference is quite noticeable.

Hmm since I'm probably not the best person to help them test it. Meaning I'll wait a bit but it sounds great.
