'Gloomy Watercolour Look'

I was a bit sick of prepping in Photoshop and making shiny, bright pictures, and seeing other people's shiny, bright pictures (which are nonetheless good and much better than any I do), so I thought I'd do a Gloomy Watercolour Look picture in Painter.

I like this Hiruma guy, although I've never seen Eyeshield (I have a very limited anime/manga following, pretty much Inuyasah, Ranma 1/2, and Naruto. Oh yeah, and FMA but I just started that so---) GYAA! I SIDE TRACK AGAIN!

I like your digital coloring, you have a good sense of lighting and texture that makes them really fun to look at. I really like the way you did his hair. tis cool.

Btw, what is that thing in his mouth (dare I ask)?
