Well, it appears that the quest of Lucy Fleetfoot and the Secret Operations League to stop the Phobos Battalion will begin in just five days.

The game seems sort of like a sequel to Puzzle League and Puzzle Challenge, as the gameplay is rather similar (matching four identical Pokemon in a line starts a Trozei chance, where you can then match Pokemon in groups of less than four). The different modes seem similar, as well; the one-player adventure, endless play, and battle (2-player combat) modes are all there, with the addition of a 2-player cooperative mode (called "Pair Trozei") being the only difference there.

So, what are your thoughts on the newest Pokemon game for the DS?

i pre ordered it from pokecenter ill get it in a few days it looks like

It's been twelve days since the release of Trozei, and reviews from gaming critics have been surprisingly decent; I've seen a 6.1, a 7.0, and even an 8.0 from various websites. Considering how Pokemon's received a lot of criticism from various critics, it's good to see that a game which could be called a "gimmick" is receiving positive attention.

As for the other "gimmick", Pokemon Ranger has a new commercial in Japan. Check it out!

The website for the ninth Pokemon movie has apparently some Ranger screenshots that correspond to the Manaphy/Deoxys missions. However, I'm having trouble finding them, so I'll just show you the pictures as they were given on PKMNElite:

It looks good, but coming out the same month as Tetris DS does not bode well for it. Chances are most people are like me and simply waited the two or so weeks for Tetris.
