Well....it would kinda help that you either:

    a) post what deck you currently have as of now

    OR

    b) let us know specifically what type of deck you want to read

We can't go off of you saying "build me a deck from cards added in 2004 or earlier" There have been many cards that have been created since then and even now.

I think the problem is that we don't know what you want or what you have to work with. There are a lot of tactics that could be used with "cards before 2004," but we can't be much help if we don't know what's within the realm of possibility.

(That means we either need a desired strategy from you, or a list of your cards. Or both, really.)

And to clarify, do you want to build a deck with the cards you have now, or do you want advice on what new cards you should buy? It sounds like the first one, but suddenly I'm not so sure...

I'll tell the truth, i almost completed a yu-gi-oh game yu-gi-oh championship tournement, got many, almost all cards, and i have almost completed the gam,e what i want know is jsut a good deck with which it is simple, or easyer too win..
i have like 1400 different cards, or something more,
i really need a deck strategy, i don't exactly know which cards are in it, damn much actualy,
maybe you can use deck strategys from the Yu-Gi-Oh series with yugi? that would be cool 2,
i only can't find no good deck strategy..
    i hope it's clearer now.

    Please Help me..

Alright. If you post what you have then we can make appropriate edits.

If all fails I can just d/l the rom and shark the whole card list to see what there is to work with.

    Urgh... Wow.. Just, wow.

So you want a beatdown deck, with Exodia prevention and Cyber Stein OTK possibility?

What game is this for? I'll rom and shark it so I know the card pool.

    Yeah, those games...

Aren't really life like. I can somehow get from your explenation that you want the deck you'll build in the game also in real life?

Search around the web. I'm sure you'll find some online yu-gi-oh games (against real players) somewhere. I know because I have one but I think it's considered advertising and isn't allowed. In mine you have possesion over every card out there (as long as you keep downloading each set) so you can build a strategy at your liking and it has a handy search tool to.

Anyway, I'm drifting of. If you build a deck on one of these programs, you can rate your deck against actual players which I think is much better then those computer players. (I'll tribute my Summoned Skull for Crawling Dragon'1600/1400 no effect'... really good move there Konami)

What game is that? YVD? Or the one that Konami released? Or something else? Like the java based one that OCGers use?

Yeah, it's YVD. Didn't know the one that Konami released anyway.

Those can't of things are the only things I can acctually use to duel. Noone in my region actually plays and I think it's stupid to buy loads of packs with cards you'll never use.

I have to agree with Silencer. Unfortunately, I don't have Windows, thus I'm just stuck in a rut right now with my unfinished deck(s) that have "proxies" in them

It's an online dueling program. It stands for Yu-Gi-Oh! Virtual Desktop. Granted it's not the best name that one would use, but still...

    Monster - 21
    1 Jinzo
    1 Summoned Skull

    2 Gemini Elf
    1 Don Zaloog
    2 Vorse Raider
    3 Slate Warrior
    2 Spear Dragon
    2 Kycoo The Ghost Destroyer

    1 Cyber Jar
    2 Cyber Stein
    2 Mystic Tomato
    1 Magician Of Faith
1 Witch Of The Black Forest

    Magic - 14
    1 Raigeki
    1 Dark Hole
    1 Mage Power
    1 Heavy Storm
    1 Pot Of Greed
    2 Delinquent Duo
    1 Monster Reborn
    1 Premature Burial
    1 Change Of Heart
    1 Card Destruction
    1 United We Stand
    1 Harpies Feather Duster
    1 Swords Of Revailing Light

    Trap - 6
    3 Trap Hole
    1 Ring of Destruction
    1 Call Of The Haunted
1 Holy Barrier - Mirror Force

    Fusion - 3
    3 Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon

    Total - 41 + 3 Fusion

I think that's legal for the game. It should stop Exodia forming with so many hand disruption cards and also beatdown the opponant before they can do anything. I've not tested it, so I don't know how effective/ineffective it is. If Wobaku is in the game, you might wanna add 2 just for some more protection.

If the game has Waboku, I say drop one Trap Hole for one Waboku. And I don't think Deliquent Duo is Semi-Limited in Traditional format (I think its Limited), so you might want to fix that

I wouldn't know. I just scanned over the games AI deck lists and they had multiple copies of everything, so I just assumed you could aswell.

If you can't have 2 Delinquent Duo then drop 1 for a Confiscate.

On a side note, I just found all OCG sets and card images for YVD. Woo go me.

Indeed. You could really do with the extra 100 so you can go point for point with an opponants 1900er.
