Default rate my awful 2 vs. 2 team (TX SP ST team version 3.0)

This is my first 2 vs. 2 team and IMHO it probably Stinks. -_-
    So go easy on me.

    Duo number 1:

    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Keen Eye
    Nature: Adamant
    Moves:
    Toxic
    Spikes
    Protect
    Drill Peck
    Role: Protecter 1/Spiker

    Item: Shell Bell
    Ability: Torent
    Nature: Quiet
    Moves:
    Surf
    Earthquake
    Curse
    Protect
    Role: Protecter 2/Curser

a Protect duo is very anoying. Leftovers to regain health, Keen Eye so i can have Drill Peck insted of Aerial Ace, Protect so it can Stall agenst Magnaton long enogh for Swampert to use Earthquake, Drill Peck to cach unexpceting Grass types before they hit Swampy.
Curse, Surf, and Earthquake + Shell Bell for stat bost, STAB, and health recovery, Protect for general anoyance.

    Duo number 2:

    Item: Bright Powder
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Hardy etc?
    Moves:
    Sandstorm
    Rapid Spin
    Cosmic Power
    Toxic
    Role: Tank/Rapid Spiner

    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Suction Cups
Nature: Brave/Quiet (depending on which attack stat is higher)
    Moves:
    Giga Drain
    Rock Slide
    Barrier
    Recover
    Role: Tank

    Horay! I bring Claydol back!
Claydol is easy to figure out, Rapid Spin to get rid of enemy spikes, and can act as a tank. Duh!
Cradlily is also a tank and attack super efectively agenst other Rapid Spiners.

    Duo number 3:

    Item: ???
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Joly
    Moves:
    Haze
    Destiny Bond
    Sluge Bomb
    Shadow Ball
    Role: Hazer

    Item: ???
    Ability: Clear Body
    Nature: Quiet
    Moves:
    Agility
    Meteor Mash
    Psychic
    Earthquake
    Role: Sweper

Yah i know, Agility and Haze contridict eachother -_-
anyway if you can think of some hold items i'm open to suggestions.
I'm to tired to explan this duo so figure it otu for your selves -_-

constructive Suggestions, tips, and words of wisdom will be gladly welcomed.

Your setup is iffy. The combo sort of works. SS works well. The movesets are fine, but I think cacturn wont survive long. He's more of an attacket than an annoyer (he has annoying moves but not the defenses to back them up.) Both are weak to fire, which isn't that great. Skarm at least covers cacturns fighting weakness.

Then you go into your next dou, but. Remember they aren't going to KO both poges at once, one will stay alive and you'll need to replace. Don't make dous that only work together. The team must have synergy and work together.

But Claydol and swampert do work with the beginning poges so you are ok. The sandstorm will be passed and things will be good. It seems weird havin all the grounds but I guess it works. Big weakness to grass though. I would put ice beam on swampert and allso switch his eqauke for toxic will giving claydol equake over toxic so he can have a STAB attack. What if swampy dies?

Your hazer is basic. Metacross with agility? I think there are better moves. and if you plan for him to defend your hazer I would not recomend this. Maybe a status move instead, or rest maybe.

Actually I think you have a 5x or so weakness to ice. Cacturn, skarm, claydol, swamp, and alteria all have weaknesses to it. I think. Fire weakness isn't so bad because you have so many Equakers. 3 fliers/levitaters 2 equakers. toxic and a good SS team with only one affect poke. Not bad. Try to cover your ice weakness some how.

What? sudenly Steel and Water are not resistant to Ice? I understand how replacing pokemon works in 2 vs. 2 batles and i think i's better to foucus Tankishnes/anoyance on one pokemon (like so with swipishnes). any way if cacturne has so little staying power, then what do you suggest for Skarmory's partner?

water is not resistant to ice. hit swamp with an ice beam and watch. and I'm pretty sure ice beam hurts skarm bad as well. not sure though. Dont give me the roll eyes, I was nice enough to rate your team.

As far as skarms partner, I would use Claydol, that way you could lay spikes and be rid of your own. Also, if clay had Equake, it could us it scottfree with skarm in there. Then put something else in cacturns spot otr keep it, idunno.

    meh, I am lame.

Both Water and Steel resist ice. Swampert and Skarmory both take normal damage from ice.

yeah, I was wrong, just normal damage. Thought I saw someone say they put ICe beam on something just for skarms but I dunno. Oh well, I don't know everything.

I think that person put Ice Beam there cause it was normal agenst Skarm. Thanks for that suggestion, I apoolgize for the Roll Eyes any way.

PS: I listed them in duos 'cause they were more easy organize that way.

Why not teeter dance on Cacturne. Having both the opponents pokemon confused while only one of yours is give you an advantage. Just a thought.

To Quagy: I don't need Teeter Dance on Cacturne 'cause it's holding Bright Powder which has the same net affect as Teeter Dance.

To Gligar_Man: Yah i should work on that. x_x
