Hmm. I'll explain this once again.
Effort Value. This value is a number between 0 and 255. Every stat(HP, Attack, Defense, etc.) has its own seperate Effort Value. So when you first get a pokemon, each stat has an EV of 0. When you fight wild pokemon, you're EV will go up, corresponding to the highest stat of the pokemon you've defeated. For example, if you fight a Steelix, its highest stat is Defense, meaning your Defense EV will rise. Understand? Good, lets continue.
This is similar to how it worked in GSC, except in GSC there was no limit to your EV's. In RS, there is a limit. When your total Effort Value(all 6 stats added together) reaches 510, none of your EV's will rise. So, if your pokemon is at level 100, and you're stats don't rise anymore from box tricking, then you've reaches your max EV's. No matter what you do, nothing will raise your stats.
Vitamins give 10 Effort Value points each. Defeating wild pokemon gives varying amounts of Effort Value, depending on who you fight.
It would take a long time to figure out what your Effort Values are, because you'd have to figure out what your DV's are, plus your personality, then work backwards through a bunch of formula's. Effort Values will be quite important in Online Battling, though.
Any questions, just ask.
