    Default Multiplication

Does anyone know how to multiply an item (ie: nugget, master ball, rare candy...) whether via gameshark or other methods? If its gameshark what are the codes?

    1. give the item you wish to duplicate to a poke in your party

    2. deposit the poke with the item into a box

    3. switch boxes, and say yes when it asks whether you want to switch boxes

    4. when the message "saving, don't turn off the power" normally appears, turn it off somewhere between the words "turn" and "off". the item + poke will be in the box, and in your party when you turn it on again.

Ok, here is how to duplicate Pokémon and items. This is done by a pretty simple process. Note that duplication usually only works on Gold and Silver. It usually doesn't work on Crystal, although a few people claim that it is possible. Anyways, here is the duplication process...

Figure out which Pokémon you want to duplicate.

If you want, attach an item to the Pokémon that you are going to duplicate, so you will also be duplicating the item in addition to the Pokémon.

Save your Game, then go to a computer at a PokéCenter, and access Bill's PC. Deposit the Pokémon that you want to duplicate, then switch to another box.

Now, when the screen says "saving.....do not turn off the power" turn off the Gameboy. Wait for the entire message to come up before you turn the Gameboy off.

Finally, when you turn your Gameboy back on, if you have done the trick correctly, you will now have two of the Pokémon that you wanted to duplicate, one in your lineup, and one in the PC box.

Like I said above, the duplicating trick only works on Gold and Silver, not Crystal. Nintendo made sure to get rid of it when Crystal was released. A few people claim that they are able to duplicate Pokémon on Crystal, but generally, outside of a few isolated cases, it doesn't work on the Crystal version.

Is there a way to do it on gameshark? Because that probably takes forever only being able to duble the item (duplicating) or is it not possible to have one and then like 5 (multiplying)?

(ok you have to admit the graph is pretty clever! )

Meh, it is pretty complicated to list all of the Gameshark codes that you need to use to modify items and stuff, so I will just give you links to some pages with Pokémon G/S/C Gameshark codes for item modification. Also, make sure that you use the code to enable item scrolling before you start modifying items. And, as always, be careful when using a Gameshark, because there is always a small chance that it will mess your game up. Anyways, here are the pages...
