I was wondering how do you get false swipe and spore on the same poke? I have been trying but to no avail. I thank anyone for viewing, and I hope someone can help me. Thank you all in advance for reading this.

If you have Ruby,it'll be easy, but if you have Sapphire, you'll need some trading...
Get a Male Zangoose and a Female Seedot.Raise Zangoose until Lv.55 or somewhere around it,so it learns False Swipe.Breed it with your Seedot, and keep breeding until you get a Male Seedot with False Swipe.
Now,get a Female Shroomish and beed it with your False Swiping Seedot. Now,hatch the new Shroomish.Afterwards, raise Shroomish, but DON'T EVOLVE IT,until level 54,and it'll learn Spore. Then you can let it evolve.
Hope this helps in any way.
Thanks a lot, I finally know!
There are only three pokémon who can learn the Spore Swiper combo. Shroomish/Breloom is one. Paras/Parasect is another; they can learn False Swipe from a father Scyther/Scizor, and also learn Spore naturally. The difficulty with these two, though, is that they both have the Special Ability Effect Spore...if the enemy hits you with a contact move, it might accidentally poison or paralyze itself, which makes Spore worthless. The only other option for a Spore Swiper is Smeargle...use False Swipe to catch it, and it'll sketch your False Swipe; then, once it's levelled enough to survive up there, take it to Cerulean Cave, a.k.a. the Unknown Dungeon, and have it fight the wild Parasect that live there. If you're lucky, you may get a chance to sketch Spore; possible ways that could happen are that Parasect might Spore you to sleep, then try to use Spore on you again while you're still sleeping...if you wake up the next turn (I trust you're faster than Parasect, which isn't hard,) then you can sketch the move. You can also do it if you become poisoned, paralyzed or burned, since Spore won't work on you. This is a lot to go through, and obviously only possible in Fire Red/Leaf Green, but the lack of Effect Spore might make it worth the trouble.

Wouldn't it be easier if I use a Breelom/Shromish and a Smeargle together battling Gaby and Ty 2 on 2? Giving the Smeargle a Lum or Chesto Berry and then using Spore on Smeargle who wakes up and then uses Sketch?
Of course both have to be high leveled enough to survive the attacks of Magneton and Exploud. If Breelom is strong enough you could start with some other Pokemon then spore both opponents and then switch your other Pokemon with Smeargle and sketch away!

You don't even need to target your Sketching Smeargle with the move - just use Spore on one of Gaby & Ty's Pokemon, and your Smeargle can still Sketch it.
Also note that Smeargle can even Sketch Taunted moves. This is the only way I know of that allows you to Sketch moves like Transform (I have a Ditto from FRLG I tested this with). Just have your Smeargle use Taunt, then Sketch the move after the "can't use MOVE after the TAUNT!" message.
Really Smeargle can Sketch Transform? That's great! Maybe a bug/glitch in the code? Because in GSC Transform was one of the few moves which cannot be Sketched. I know because I have tried it several times and never succeeded.
I don't believe the developer's of the game changed their mind and wanted to allow Sketching Transform.
I can't wait to get a Ditto and Smeargle.![]()

Have you ever tried sketching the move after it fails? Have you ever seen Transform fail? In GSC Smeargle wasn't supposed to be able to Sketch Baton Pass, but it could be done if you could make the move fail, by setting it up so that a Baton Passing pokémon was the only conscious pokémon on the opponent's team. Baton Pass changes the active pokémon, which resets the "last move used" info, so there's nothing to Sketch...but when the move fails, it's still the last move attempted, and you can Sketch it. Transform may be the same way, now that there's a way to make it fail.Originally Posted by Gagome

Yeah, that sounds reasonable.Originally Posted by Poryhedron
I tried to make Transform fail to Sketch it in GSC but never succeeded. Transform seems to only fail if I use Dig or Fly on the first turn but succeeds on the second turn. There is no time to use Sketch.
I spend days with tests to find a way to make Transform fail but found nothing. At first I thought that maybe lowering Ditto's accuracy may help and I battled a Ditto which I could successfully "prepare" having got 6 Smokescreens and my Smeargle 6 Double Teams before Ditto used Transform but Transform is not dependent on accuracy and my scenario didn't work.
I guess there is no way to make Transform fail and use Sketch in GSC.

Now there's an idea:
Use Fly or Dig, let Transform fail, and then hope that Ditto flinches because you've attached a King's Rock to your Smeargle.
Maybe Protect works? I don't even know where to find Smeargle, so I can't try, but if Protect makes Transform fail and then you Sketch it, would that work?
I have the Smeargle, but not the Ditto... Smeargle is obtainable from Colloseum (I caught a female so now I got lots of Smeargles! ) Ditto is only available from Fr/Lg...I would try, but I don't have the Ditto...

Actually, I was talking about Sketching Transform in GSC, which I can test as soon as I get a new Smeargle to hatch from its egg to work with.
EDIT: Tried it, didn't work. There are some moves in the game which are listed as completely unSketchable, no matter whether you can get them to fail or not. Guess Transform really is one of them in GSC.
OIC. I could try that too! I'll get on it as soon as I can!

Ok, I've tried to breed a male zangoose with false swipe and a female seedot. The problem is that it says "They don't seem to like each other". This is like the tenth seedot I went through and still the same thing keeps happening. It the guide it says that they still have a chance and I was wondering if they really do, or is this just a waste of time.
Well, I thought that if a certain species of Pokemon don't like each other, they never will. I'm not sure, but that's what I think.
EDIT: I think that was in GSC...
Yes, they will have an egg. There really isn't too much "chance" involved IMO. What the chance is is the chance that they'll have an egg in X steps. Eventually they'll have one. Just keep walkin.
EDIT: beat me to it...![]()

That message just means they will breed, but slowly. If they are incompatable the message is "they prefer to play with other pokémon".
If your guide doesn't mention that, then it's not very good.
