Charizard was unveiled as a returned playable character at the last Nintendo Direct for Super Smash Bros. Charizard’s Mega Evolution, Mega Charizard X, will also make an appearance.

Super Smash Bros director, Masahiro Sakurai, revealed some new Pokemon related screenshots from the upcoming Super Smash Bros for 3DS game. Prism Tower was revealed already but these series of screenshots show off just what players are to expect on this arena.

The players will start off battling at street level at the bottom of the tower.

As the battle progresses, players will need to scale the tower by looking out for these floating platforms.

Finally, by the time the players reach the top of the tower, the sun will be setting.
Nintendo is running a promotion in North America for the month of March for new Nintendo 3DS/2DS owners. During March, those who register a Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL or Nintendo 2DS system as well as one of the following six games on Club Nintendo, will get a free download code for Pokemon X or Pokemon Y.
Any one of the above games, along with the 3DS system, must be registered between March 1st and March 31st, 2014 in order to be eligible for the promotion. Also, the Pokémon X or Y download code must be redeemed by May 31st, 2014 after which it expires.
In Nintendo’s latest Nintendo Direct live stream, they announced a new Pokemon puzzle game coming to the Nintendo eShop called, Pokemon: Battle Trozei. It will feature all 718 Pokemon and cost $7.99 when it comes out March 20, 2014. In Europe, it will be called Pokemon Link Battle and is due out March 13, 2014.
