ME! I've been dying for a battle! Go, Reikon!
Spiritomb |F| Pressure
BTW, you should change the name of the post to have our names on it and the fact that we don't have a ref (p4r6g6777 vs kaBoMB-ref: none).
This is my first battle so I will probably play horribly. I am pretty familiar with the rules because I did look at a lot of ASB posts before registering.
Format: Since its my first battle I'll make it short. Single Battle, 2 vs. 2
DQ Time: 5 Days?
Rules / Restrictions: No OHKO's
Arena: For my first battle I won't do anything fancy and say a regular, outdoor grassy field without any special properties (yes, I know its VERY bland).
The Pokemon I'll send out first is THE ALMIGHTY!
A Sentret, Male, Ability: Keen Eye

Alright I will. Thanks for accepting. Aren't you supposed to post your moves first?
Ok, then! Reikon, start us off with a Nasty Plot, then use Toxic and Dark Pulse!
Nasty Plot~Toxic~Dark Pulse
Thanks Razor Leaf for refing!
Let him set up because you will as well! Use Work Up!
Let's cause him to trip up a bit as well with Attract!
Finally, I don't wanna get hit by a powerful Dark Pulse so use Protect!
Work Up ~ Attract ~ Protect
Ladies, gentlemen, multiforms, undecided and genderless. Weclome to our main event, a battle between two ASB newcomers, in this basic Indigo Plateau arena. IN one corner we have p4r6g6777. Alphanumerically unique, if this pokemon trainer was your password, then your secrets would be safe! His opponent, a tricksy trouble maker with a penchant for explosions and taking notes. The two trainers send out their pokemon, fresh from the Approval Tower. A tiny Sentret and a fearsome Spiritomb. We wont waste anymore time, let's battle! Both pokemon face each other, their faces stern but otherwise focusing on something else. ALMIGHTY starts to huff and puff, but instead of blowing houses down he pumps his little arms up and down, and lifts his body up and down on his tail, working himself up. Reikon on the other hand watches The Big A and silently plots his downfall, a sneak attack here, a nasty trip up there. Oh so nasty! At the end of it, both pokemon are psyched for the battle to come.
THE ALMIGHTY HP -0, PP -8 ; Atk+1, Spd+1
Reikon HP -0, PP -8 ; S.Ak+2
The cursed keystone sits on the floor, unmoving, but the spirit escaping from it moves around keeping a thin trail of smoke back to the source of its power. Reikon darts about the arena a little before approaching ALMIGHTY from the side. She hovers over the small squirrel pokemon, a vicious grin on her face, and begins to hock up a mouthful of ick. The Almighty; who will henceforth only ever appear in CAPS LOCK when he does something TOTALLY EPIC; looks up at Reikon with a sly grin. He slicks back his long ears, shows off a bit of muscle and check out that tail. Phew! Reiikon seems somewhat infatuated by the display of hot manliness, but even so, she still manages to go through with her attack, spitting up a glob of sticky stomach sludge that leaves a horrible black stain on Almighty's fur, and an even worse case of intoxication.
THE ALMIGHTY HP -0, PP -6 ; Intoxicated
Reikon HP -0, PP -5 ; In Love!!
A little put out that strutting his stuff didn't result in Reikon instantly falling to his feet and kissing the ground, Almighty watches his foe as she begins to gathers darkness around her. Seemingly plucking it from nearby shadows, the blackness bubbles away from where it has been cast and swarms into a constant chase, circling around Reikon. The darkness masses until it can grow no more and spin no faster before exploding outwards, sending a pulse radiating out form the phantom's body, hitting everything in its radius. Almighty sits tight, the wave crashing against a perfectly formed shield that protects him entirely from the effects of the attack. The shield crackles under the force of the attack, leaving little blotches of and white on its surface.

I thought Work Up highered Atk and Spa, not Atk and Spd?
Anyways, Now that we set up a little bit we need to start inflicting damage!
First action use Toxic!
Second action use Fire Punch, unless it used Dark Pulse last action in which case use Amnesia so it forgets how to use it.
Third action use Ice Punch, unless it used Dark Pulse its second action in which case use Amnesia if it didn't already forget Dark Pulse.
If it ever Protects use Work Up
Toxic/Work Up ~ Fire Punch/Amnesia/Work Up ~ Ice Punch/Amnesia/Work Up
by the way, you can just refer to me as p4 so you don't have to type out my full name.
Ok, Reikon, alleviate the war of shields with a Taunt, then use two Dark Pulses!
Taunt~Dark Pulse~Dark Pulse
Bump for ref.
Reikon and Almighty face off. Reikon starts to pull mocking faces at Almighty, whilst the little Sentret starts to hock up some disgusting stomach fluids. Reikon's mockery turns to taunting insults, the kind that would make a grown man wince. Almighty is neither grown, nor a man but he is still taken aback by the comments. He spits what gunk he has in his mouth the floor and shouts back, taking the bait and abandoning his attack to retaliate with a few choice words about ghost pokemon. Reikon doesn't seem that bothered.
THE ALMIGHTY HP -0, PP -3 ; Taunted
Reikon HP -0, PP -6 ;
Raging, Almighty charges forward before being batted away by a powerful pulse of darkness, imbued with the cunning of a nasty plot. Reikon snickers, but the laughs stop as Almighty is suddenly back in his sight, fists blazing with red hot fire. The tiny Sentret uses its tail as a springboard, leaps up in the air and brings both fists down on the body of the ghost in a downward cross. The fists pass through the phantom's body, but the fire ignites the ectoplasm for a brief moment, resulting in the sensation of extreme heat spreading through Reikon's entire body.
THE ALMIGHTY HP -11, PP -5 ;
Reikon HP -9, PP -5 ;
Almighty gets ready to strike again, this time his fists glowing icy blue. Then he remembers that his foe used a certain attack in the previous turn and changes the ice in order to make his opponent forget. But then he considers bulking up his body, but at the same time recalls the taunting mockery his foe made at him. In his utter confusion over which attack to use, he lets out a scream and topples over backwards, just as another pulse of blackness washes over him, tossing him even further away like a rag doll. Reikon lets out another evil laugh.

p4r6g6777, refs get confused when you post lots of alternate commands, do A if B happens, or C is D happens, but A if D happens before B unless C results in E. As such, that confusion results in your pokemon not being able to remember which command it is meant to perform. Whilst this isn't always the case, most refs will cancel the action if they confused over what is meant to be taking place.
For god's sake, Reikon, focus on the battle!
Now, use Dark Pulse a few times. Use Nasty Plot again if he tries Protecting off one of them.
Focus~Dark Pulse/Nasty Plot~Dark Pulse/Nasty Plot
just spam Thunderpunches in hope that you paralyze him.
Thunderpunch ~ Thunderpunch ~ Thunderpunch
Focus on the battle. It's not a command as a typical move would be, but it's still something Reikon can adhere too. The battle. A test of strength and stamina, a feat of wits and ingenuity. Her foe, a small Sentret addled by a taunt in the previous round throws a powerful punch Reikon's way, sending electricity all through her phatasmic body. This.. this is no time for feelings of fancy or romantic interludes. This is a battle! Reikon's brief infatuation with Almighty is lifted as stern focus leads to seeing through the rose tinted haze of attraction.
THE ALMIGHTY HP -0, PP -5 ;
Reikon HP -9, PP -8 ; No longer Infatuated
With the risk of failing to attack due to unprecedented swooning, Reikon can immerse herself in the fight fully. Almighty is already up and in her face, throwing another thunderous uppercut that feels like it would crack her jaw, if she had a skeletal structure of any kind to crack. Retaliating with a pulse of dark energy once more, Almighty is tossed backwards, rolling across the floor with a grimace and bruises that make the taunting seem like a bitter memory.
THE ALMIGHTY HP -11, PP -5 ; No longer Taunted
Reikon HP -9, PP -5
Reikon sends out another dark pulse, but this time, no longer fuelled by rage and anger, Almighty allows it to wash over his body, as he forces his way through the attack to slam a hard fist right into the middle of the swirling gaseous mass that is Reikon's body. Electricity sprays out in every direction, but it is harmlessly conducted away by the Odd Keystone, managing ever so slightly to miss out on paralysing the ghost pokemon. The poisonous toxin inside Almighty grows as it spreads through his body, weakening his small frame with every heartbeat.

Alright! I'm going to lose. I'm not going down without a fight though.
Freeze Hax is my only hope!
Use Ice Punch repeatedly! Unless it uses Dark Pulse, in which case use Amnesia so he can't use it again for awhile.
Ice Punch/Amnesia ~ Ice Punch/Amnesia ~ Ice Punch/Amesia
Keep it up, Reikon! Use Psychic a bunch of times!
Psychic~Psychic~Psychic
Almighty darts forward. Just that little bit faster than Reikon, the little Sentret deliveries a swift punch that sends a cold chill spreading through Reikon's ectoplasm like a virus through veins. She shivers, a motion she is not used to in the spirit world. The Spiritomb's eyes glow a dull red, and Almighty is plucked from the ground, and tossed up into the air by an unseen force. Almighty lands on the ground with a thump, his head in a whirl as to what just happened.
THE ALMIGHTY HP -12, PP -6 ;
Reikon HP -9, PP -8
The young mammal pokemon gets up, uses his tail as a bouncing board again and attacks from above this time. He passes through the boundaries of the phantom's body, but leaves a frosty cloud in his wake, the chill running through Reikon once more, as the ghost retaliates by again, flicking Almighty across the arena with a powerful psychic shove. Almighty attempts to get up, but finds his head is more than a little addled form the attack.
THE ALMIGHTY HP -12, PP -6 ; S.Def-1
Reikon HP -9, PP -8
With no option but continue attacking, Almighty throws another solid punch that as usual passes harmlessly through Reikon's supernatural field, but the arctic aura remains in place, creating fragments of ice that travel down to the Odd Keystone threatening its stability. Reikon lashes out with a further psychic burst, striking an already weakened Almighty just as the hit of the intoxication sends a sickly shiver through his frame. Barely hanging on to life and staggering to his feet THE ALMIGHTY shows he's still got that fighting spirit.

Well, let's try not to prolong this. Use Sucker Punch if he attacks, otherwise use Dark Pulse.

I am probably D.Q.ed by now, and even if I'm not I'll forfeit. There is no hope for me in this battle! Sorry KaBomber!
If you forfit now then you only get half the amount of points you would by continuing the battle. And your opponent still having that much health does not mean you will outright loose. You can't predict how the battle will go, Kabomber might make a mistake, or you might surprise yourself with a brilliant strategy. If you pull out when things look rough, then you might never win a battle. I hope you reconsider.
Alright fine. I'll have Sentret use Ice Punch once to hope for Freeze Hax, and then switch to Shadow Claw and hope I land 3 critical hits.
Ice Punch ~ Shadow Claw ~ Shadow Claw
After being talked back into the battle, ALMIGHTY moves to attack Reikon. Seconds before he throws a punch, a burst of darkness hits him from behind, a sneak attack that Reikon had been planning on throwing from the beginning of the match. It's too much of a shock for Almighty to deal with, and he collapses under the stress.

Oh crap! I totally forgot that this was a 2 v 2 battle! I wouldn't have given up so quickly then lol. Anyways, I'll send out Henry the Oshawott
Henry, Oshawott, male

Okay Henry! Try to use Swords Dance! If he Taunts go for Surf instead. Keep doing this until you actually manage to use Swords Dance, in which case just keep spamming Surf.
Swords Dance / Surf ~ Swords Dacne / Surf ~ Swords Dance / Surf
Use Light Screen, then use Psych Up! Finish off with a Sucker Punch!
Light Screen~Psych Up~Sucker Punch
THE ALMIGHTY is recalled and a fresh faced Oshawott called Henry takes his place. Henry instantly begins his attack run, but instead of directly attacking his foe, he uses his scallop to perform an intricate dance in the form of a spinning pirouette. Whilst in the centre of the spin, Henry's blood pumps harder forcing energy and strength into him ready for a future attack. Watching from nearby, Reikon summons a screen of highly condensed golden light. A wall sits between him and Henry, bathing both in a golden light as they look through it.
Henry HP -0, PP -8 ; Atk+2
Reikon HP -0, PP -6 ; Light Screen
Henry comes out of his spin and lets out a battle cry. From drains set into the edge of the arena designed for taking water away, a flood rises up from them, submerging the odd keystone and splashing wildly around the arena. While Henry cheers from atop a wave, Reikon groans as the waves beat mercilessly against his phantom body, the Light Screen doing very little to protect him from the attack hitting form every side. Finally the waters subside leaving Reikon a little worse for wear. Reikon manages to lock onto his foe's mind during this time and copies his foe's recent boost of stats.
Henry HP -0, PP -8
Reikon HP -12, PP -6 ; Atk+2
Finally Reikon manages to get an attack in, striking Henry just as he starts to summon another wave. The little water otter is a little shocked, but still manages to lift himself up on a wave, and watches as the waters once again ignore the protective light barrier and rock the odd keystone around under water, causing Reikon to get a little sea-sick.
