The ice keeps falling as Calories recovers from that horridly powerful set of attacks. But with the appearance of a fire type, all alarms went off. Boom walks over the stoned field, and swats at the Hail annoyingly. Seeing his small creamy target, a stream of fire goes to greet him.

And greets a energy shield. Cal hops forward, and Magmar puts more into it...until he realizes that the Vanillite is right next to him, and glowing. O cr--

Well, as we remove Calories off of this rack laden field, Boom gets himself together. All the while a new flame bodied Pokemon steps into view. She's taller than the Magmar and her flames are prettier. Yes, its Princess Sparkles. Boom sees a bit saddened by this fire type sharing his same field, and goes on the offensive. A Psychic battalion batters the horses mind, but she shrugs off the dizziness and responds with a Charming trot around the arena. (-1)

PS: -3E/-10H ~~ Bo: -8E -Atk

Boom doesn't really see the appeal, but his attempt at a Low Sweep was not as full of vigor as he may have liked, This worked out to the speedy foal's favor, as she went for a low Kick herself. Both Pokemon collided feet and both slinked away from each other, having successfully kicked each other in the knee. (-1)

Princess Sparkles galloped away for a moment, but turned and ran back at the Magmar. Neighing, she stopped and reared up on her hind legs, using her fore limbs to box at Magmar's head. Bad move. The Strength of her hooves never reached Magmar, as he flung his hands up. A sphere of energy coursed from them and slammed into Sparkles open underside, blasting her to the ground for the time being. (-1)

Sparkles righted herself as Magmar closed the gap between them. She tried to lock eyes and induce a type of sleep onto the fire type, but Magmar was a little preoccupied with sending his own mental waves out, and giving her a nauseous headache.

The horse backed away again, trying to see straight. Boom kept the pressure up, slamming his fist on her left side. Sparkles kicked in reflex, and turned to stare Magmar down. This time, the sleep spell worked, and Boom fell over, asleep.

With Boom finally asleep, Princess Sparkles takes the time to run backwards. She lines up her target with her path, and blitzes down the field in a stunning show of speed. Her feet collide, trample and ultimately stomp Boom into something resembling a life form, as she gallops away.

I think Boom is concussed. Mainly because he's spread eagle on the field and Sparkles is trampling him to kingdom come. She commits to another full speed body charge that rams the Magmar and sends it upward. Boom lands on his feet and wobbles, before releasing a Smokescreen to obscure his position.

Princess walked through the smoke, trying to find that crazy duckbill fireplunger. Her target was asleep, he couldn't have escaped that fast. How wrong she was! Not only had her target vanished from sight, but Boom was wide awake-and furious. He let her know this by a Psychic blast that knocked Sparkles off her feet.

Sparkles flipped head over heels and landed on her head, a very painful position when you're an equine. As she recovered, ..well there was no room for recovery when a second blast fling Sparkles through the arena. She skidded across the ground, and only stopped thanks to a large rock!

Boom watched from the Smokescreen, as Sparkles slowly rose. She wasn't crazy enough to try a charge! But the horse was. Her mane flares, and she gallops though the Smokescreen! But her aim was off, to Boom's perception. All he saw was smoke sweep upward in a vaguely v-Shape flume, following after her flames.

What he didn't see was the Smokescreen bleed away from the wind she created.

Boom eyes the galloping horse, noting that its starting to head back this way. He readies a nice ol' surprise for the Ponyta, and then runs into a problem.

That Ponyta suddenly accelerates, at such a rate that she's already back in close quarters. Boom tries to release a Psychic blast as the pony hits him twice with her hooves, and then with her chest, before mule kicking the fire type into his dissipating Smokescreen.

PS: -19E/-7H ~~ Bo: Dead like wow.

This horse does not stop running. As Boom is taken away. Sparkles is seen dashing along the perimeter of the field. She's already building momentum, as Ayeun called out her 4th Pokemon of this match. Knowing the odds are against her, she sends out a medium sized penguin

The Prinplup stares blankly at the incoming foe, and flaps its wings once. Jets of water appear from....nowhere and propel the avian faster than Ponyta expected. But her own dashing state was also augmented by a powerful ripple of electricity. The two Pokemon met in a clash of water, fire and electricity....I wonder if they just made a new life form...

Both bouncing backwards, Prinplup and Pontya collided again. The force of the second blow took Sparkles down, and Prinplup was just left feeling really sparky...

This match is starting to wane, and Oslo whips out his fourth Pokemon. Its a Koffing a happy little Koffing with little fluffy clouds. Does Prinplup care about those clouds? No. Not at all. It fires a blast of heated water up at Koffing, who's not too sure what the heck that's about. Its own attack-small embers, are duly washed out as he's coated with the Scalding hot water...and even gets a burn from it!

That's no way to start a match. Hoping to recoup some ground, Luft puffs and exudes a Poisonous Gas that starts to spread around the area. Prinplup does not note this danger and fires a bubblebeam into the heart of the gassy matrix, striking Luft back.

A deep breath...and Prin slightly suffers from its ill effects. (-1/-1)

The poison does not seem to bother him too much. Prinplup jumps up to an astounding height, as Koffing tries to figure out what's going on. A massive Hydro Pump-that's what! Prinplup controls it as a batter would a swing, and slams Koffing to the ground with the deluge of water. When the water attack ends, Koffing takes some time to reassert itself, and fires a blast of electricity at the heavy breathing Prinplup. It knocks him on his rear, but its not nearly enough to quash his spirit. (-1/-1)

Prinplup stared at the floating balloon, devising a new plan to try and get a lead in this fight. His voice would be heard! A powerful sound was released, echoing in everyones head within the vicinity....

Luft bounced about, and deflated a tad. That deflation billowed and grew until the area underwent a Hazy smog. (-1/-1)

The Haze stayed around, and Prinplup was at a loss for what to do...except shout. It kept up the attack, and Luft quietly bobbed overhead. Prinplup looked left and right, but so no answer in sight, until a smog cloud landed square on his face. This odd cloud acted like a crosshair..and then electrified, and used him as a conduit! (-1/-1)

Prinplup fell backwards, obviously taken back by that blast. The Haze was unmoving for a bit, and Luft bobbed over. Now Sludge fell from the sky, and after its initial strike, Prin screamed in a futile attempt-though Luft was visibly getting tired of all the damn racket.(-1/-1)

The singing only continued, and as the song grew in intensity to Luftballoon, he began to try and mimic it. Only his version was just tumultuous and violent and just ugly. Prinplup stopped, realizing it lost its place. Damn him!(-1/-1)

Stuck trying to remember where it was he dropped the note, Prinplup was a sitting duck. A nasty but powerful firing of Sludge exited the Koffing, and made a beeline for Prin's face. Score one for the floater!(-1/-1). Prinplup shook off the nasty tasting Sludge, but now was looking pretty weak.

Snapping his wings together, Prin remembered. But now he thought it better to start from the beginning. As such, the attack lost its vocal strength, and he had to warm up his vocals again. No matter. A smaller ball of sludge was fired, and this one smacked the aquavian in the eyes.(-1/-1). That was all she wrote, as he fell over.

EDIT: Also, I think Echoed Voice works better here if it doesn't double every turn. Three Echoed Voices = instant 40 HP in one round (with the damage cap). Since every Pokemon learns it, there's too much potential for it to become a brainlessly easy way to wrack up major damage in just about any situation.

Fiercely upset she was ousted another Pokemon, Ayeun decides to clinch the match here and now with her tigress. A pretty combed up Luxio struts out, to greet the Luftballon, whom immediately tries to brighten its fortune. The sun shines down on them both, but Luft loses altitude as a wave of Thunder comes over it and crippled him a tad fast. (-1)

The paralysis always sticks at the beginning, doesn't it? Luft wriggles in place, and Ayeun smirks. Her Luxio runs back a appropriate amount of feet and begins charging up a massive attack.(-1).

Before the Pokmeon can regain any composure in this applied heat, Luxio dashes for him, glowing erratically. The lion crashes into Luftballon and sends him reeling backwards, slamming into the ground and left to spin to a stop.(-1). Luxio turned hias abc and headed back to Ayeun, who seemed to be pointing behind her. Luxio turned around, to see Luft chortling, as a Fiery Blast headed toward her! She tried to run, but was overwhelmed and left to sizzle in the sun.
